Chapter 02

Henry didn't back down. With the strength he could muster, he fought back! And the room turned into a chaotic war zone.

“You fucker!” Sixt stood on his feet, raising his legs in hitting Henry on his abdomen, causing him to spat out blood!

“Sixt! You fucking animal! Let him go! Are you planning on killing him, you monster!” Fiona screamed, not daring to go close to them.

But neither Sixt nor Henry listened to her.

Each time the scene of Henry fucking his wife flashes in Sixt's head, his punches and attacks is more ruthless!

He was consumed with so much anger, that his eyes became red.

And at this point, Henry could almost not fight back.

Smack!

“Ahhh!” He groaned, squeezing his face in pain.

Fiona looked around to see what she could grab to stop Sixt.

Taking advantage of her Sixt’s distraction, Fiona took the lamp at the bedside table.

And while he wasn't looking, she strikes the back of the lamp on his head with all her strength.

The lamp crashes against his skull, sending a sharp, splitting pain through his head.

The sudden and brutal pain made Sixt scrunched his eyes.

His vision became blurry as he staggered back, trying to maintain balance.

Slowly, warm and thick blood gushed from the wound, trailing down his face and chin.

His fingers pressed against the wound instinctively, but that didn't stop the relentless rush of blood.

He looked at Fiona with disbelief. The betrayal stings deeper than the wound itself.

“Get out this instant, you son of a bitch!”

Sixt could almost not make sense of what was happening until he heard that voice, and when he turned, he saw Fiona barking at him while helping her boss to the bed, even when he himself was almost dying in pain from the wound she inflicted on him.

Bewildered and in disbelief, he almost couldn’t feel his limbs.

“Can't you hear me?! I said get out! Get lost! Get the hell out of my house!!” Fiona spat, her cold eyes raging with a murderous look.

Staggering, Sixt stepped out of the house while Henry angrily shouted from behind.

“This is far from over, Sixt! I will slaughter you like a pig!” Henry barked.

Sixt struggled out of the big gate, staggering on the street while the rain poured down on him. He would barely make it a few seconds into his painful walk when his legs gave out and he collapsed to his knees from severe blood loss.

At that moment, a luxurious BMW pulled over because Sixt blocked its way.

The driver, who was forced to stop, shifted his gaze behind him, “Master.” Tom bowed his head, “...a man is lying on the road ahead, blocking the way. He's just lying there in the middle of the road… Could he be trying to scam us?"

The car is occupied by an elderly man. The patriarch of the prominent Zane family. A man of great power.

Old Master Zane creased his brows. The driver opened the door immediately.

Tom stepped out of the car, with a frown, to check what's wrong with this young man.

However, Tom found this young man soaked in the pool of his own blood.

He immediately reported it to Master Zane.

Zane walked out of the car. He wanted to see what he could do to help this poor young man.

As he lowered himself to check for his pulse, he noticed the bracelet on the man’s wrist and was taken aback.

His friend, Harold Guidotti, had given his granddaughter an identical bracelet many years ago. Zane had personally witnessed Harold's incredible, almost magical abilities; He had even, in the blink of an eye, cured Zane's illness that troubled the world's finest medical experts.

Could it be... could this severely injured young man somehow related to Harold?

At this thought, the old man's expression grew stern. He absolutely could not let this young man die here.

Without hesitation, the old man snapped his fingers, and his bodyguards came out rushing.
