Harry blinked slightly at Aria, his expression readable. “That's a huge amount,” he said, hardly above a whisper. His voice broke as he added, “I don't have that in my account.”

Aria winked, slightly nodding. A flush of disbelief and shame etched on her face. “No, that can't be,” she argued as if she was in Harry's bank app.

She has complete trust in Harry to have that amount.

“Open your bank app. Check. It's there. Show it to him and let's go in.” Her voice was undoubtedly firm.

Harry frowned slightly, irritated by her pressure. His voice rose, a little harsh as he replied. “I don't. Nine hundred million dollars isn't a small amount of money. It's big. You don't expect me to have that in my account.”

“You must! You're rich, Harry.” Aria wasn't going to let herself look like an arrogant fool in front of this security guard, not especially after all her bragging.

Harry swallowed hard, his irritation palpable.

Charlotte interrupted, placing her hand on Aria's shoulder. “Please, stop M

A few minutes had passed and the sound of footsteps was heard, echoing in the large living room. Anthony stepped down the stairs, each of his steps calm and composed. He was still putting on the same clothes he had worn. A smile appeared on his lips as he saw Georgina sipping from a glass of water. “Glad, you're really making yourself comfortable,” he said, taking a seat opposite her. Noticing the way Georgina was looking at him, Anthony quickly added, his voice reassuring. “Please, don't mind what I'm putting on. Haven't moved my things from the hotel over here. I'll do that today.”Georgina exhaled, relieved. She didn't say a word about that; instead, she shifted the subject. “This is just like my house, too, so I've got to be relaxed. Haha.”Anthony grinned lightly and nodded. “Of course, it is,” he said in approval, his voice casual without knowing Georgina's intention of making such a comment.Just then Anthony's stomach rumbled, a sign that he was feeling hungry. Besides, he

Anthony watched as Sarah drove away. He frowned slightly, though a small smile played on his lips. “Was she being jealous just now?” He mumbled to himself, his voice hardly above a whisper.“That was…..” he paused, not knowing how to piece his words together. A chuckle escaped his mouth.Just then, he saw a cab approaching him. He flagged it down, entered it, and the cab took off.Meanwhile, on her way home, in her car, Sarah's face wasn't bright. Her mind constantly had a rolling thought, and her grip on the steering wheel tightened.“He’s got a girlfriend and didn't bother telling me about it?” She muttered with annoyance, though disbelief crossed her eyes. She paused, a hush breaking out inside the car. As she drives, she shakes her head, recalling that Anthony was just coming out of a harmful marriage with Charlotte.“No, it can't be. He can't be in any relationship so soon, not while he's still trying to recover from a toxic one,” her voice was shaking with firmness. Thus, she d

The car moved on the busy road with Anthony sitting cushily on the driver's seat, his grip firm around the steering wheel. His eyes were focused on the road ahead. He had agreed with Sarah to drive the car. Sarah was seated in front, in the passenger seat. The glass at her side was rolled down and she looked outside, the cool breeze from outside brushing against her face. There was a moment of silence that filled the room. Sarah was focused outside, observing the area while Anthony focused on driving. The hush finally ended when Sarah leaned back inside the car, looking at Anthony's calm and composed demeanor. “You know what, Anthony?” Sarah started, emotion and gratitude in her voice. “I really appreciate everything you've done for me. If it weren't for you, all this wouldn't be happening.” Anthony turned to glance at her briefly before returning his focus to the road, his grip still tight against the steering wheel. “I have actually done nothing,” he shook his head with a faint

“That's a lie, Sarah,” Anthony disagreed, clearly displeased even though he knew what she said was true. “You don't have to listen to them. That's a clear sign of them trying to depress your spirit.” Anthony held her hands calmly but with emotion. “Yeah, it may be cumbersome like they have said, but that doesn't mean someone is really helping you. You just have a horseshoe up your ass, that's all.” Anthony said everything in his head just to make sure Sarah was convinced. “Or do you probably have anyone working there?” He asked. “No, I don't,” Sarah answered. “You see?” Anthony gently let go of Sarah's hands. “This simply means you're a door opener for others. Just when you got the deal, a new law was added and not just that, it got started with you.” Anthony paused, his voice more persuasive now. “I'd suggest you grab this opportunity now. Not like they will go bankrupt once you accept their offer. They're a very big and powerful company so it's nothing to them even if t

Before Liam could speak from the other end, Sarah started, her voice shaking with terror. “Sir, Liam, I'm sorry, I should have called, but I was too scared to do that, sir. Please, sir, don't believe anything you saw online.” She had fully concluded that Liam was only calling her for what had happened. The panic in her heart grew wider, and her voice shook. “That was all a lie. They are trying to frame me, sir. Believe me; I'm telling the truth.” Just when the fear was climbing higher, Sarah's heart beating more than usual, each of her words a trembling one, Liam's calm and polite voice came out. “I’m aware. You need not worry yourself about anything. Besides, that's not why I called,” Liam pointed out, his voice reassuring. Huh? Sarah furrowed an eyebrow, puzzled. She pulled the phone from her ear, then glanced at the screen to confirm if it was truly Liam she was communicating with. Confirming it was truly him, her eyes flicked toward Anthony and back to her phone. “T

Sarah smiled genuinely. “Definitely not wrong, Mr. John.” “Familiar with my name already,” John returned her smile. “May I know yours?” He asked. Sarah nodded. “I'm Sarah.” “Sarah,” John reiterated. “That's a nice name,” he said warmly, causing Sarah's cheeks to flush with shyness. Reluctantly, John turned around to address Anthony, who stood there, silently admiring John's communication skill, which he knew was one of the things that every businessman and woman should possess for a sales drive. However, it was so unfortunate that even some business owners don't have it. “I have selected a perfect and sound Mazda 6 for you,” John started respectfully, “please, come with me, let's go and see it.” As they got to where the car was parked in the showroom. “That’s it,” John said, pointing at the car and stepping aside, allowing Anthony to carry out a proper inspection on the car. Anthony nodded before marching forward, his step calm but graceful. The Mazda 6 has
