Manipulator

"So, is this the Wyneguard mansion?" A girl similar to Damon Wyne's age asked as she exited the carriage and stared at the large building.

"It's not the main family's one, but it is nearly just as important." Another man said as he walked out of it behind her; he had a beard that was neatly cut and wore an emblem on his clothing, a blue symbol that represented the Magic family of Uldor, which was one of the most powerful families in the continent from their profound magical lineage.

The mansion's doors opened wide with maids and butlers walking outside before Philip and Edmund exited, walking towards one of the elders of Uldor, "High Mage, it's a pleasure for you to come here." Philip said as he bowed slightly before walking towards the High Mage Astirix Uldor.

"Philip Wyne? It's been a long time since we met." Astirix said as he extended his hands toward Damon and shook his hand before the High Mage stopped before looking up at one of the windows feeling as if someone was watching them from there. "Who is that?"

Phillip shook his head, "Oh, it's no one. It's just-"

"Damon…" The girl whispered, looking very annoyed before she turned to look at the elder, "Can we just call the marriage off and leave now? Why do we have to stay here?" She complained.

"You know you can't do that. Besides, I don't sense Damon up there; the person seems oddly different…" He said before he looked up at the window.

"So that is the grand wizard?" Damon asked while peaking out of the curtain, looking from above.

"It's the high mage, not grand wizard…" The reflection replied.

"Very cool… so I can see some cool magic then?" Damon asked, looking slightly excited.

"No! You can't meet him, and certainly not her, not now, not until you lose those… fat." The reflection continued as he pointed at Damon's bloated and fat stomach.

"Why not?" Watts asked.

"You can't… You don't look like you should be respected…" Wyne said, looking down.

The former President sighed and shook his head as he realized what was happening.

Wyne had been through a lot, and one of the worst things that had ever happened to him was getting engaged to one of the daughters of the outer families of Uldor.

But it wasn't just being engaged to her that hurt him; in fact, when it happened, he felt like the luckiest man alive; after all, what could a man ask for if he had a beautiful lady as his wife?

What hurt him was the fact that she never considered him her fiance and even went all out in dirtying his name among her friends in front of him. She had also flirted with Philip. If she had gone that far, what else might she have done?

"I need to look stronger, I need her to regret." Wyne continued.

Watts shook his head, "If that is your worry, stop. I know what to do." Damon said before ringing a bell.

"What can you do when you look like a pig about to be slaughtered!?" Wyne exclaimed.

Damon Watts stopped in front of the mirror and chuckled, "I have met nearly all kinds of people, I have learned to act, I have learned the art of lying and deceiving." He said before he got closer to the reflection, "If what they see is a pig, I will convince them otherwise." He whispered before the door opened with Shayla entering the room with a cart of food and a hanger that held a large suit, "Young master, here is your extra-large suit." She said while handing Damon the hanger.

"Thanks, Shayla," Damon replied before Shayla exited, looking happy that Damon was looking much more active and not much like his passive self.

Damon then took the suit and started putting them on, causing his body to look skinnier than it was.

He then took the hair oil and started applying it to his hair and combing it to how he had combed it before when he was president. "Just look at me, bucko… See how a master gaslight everyone in his way." Damon said while he put his red tie on.

"No… You cant go… not now… please…" The reflection cried, simulating infinite possibilities in his mind thinking of how the former President would mess everything up.

Philip waited at the dinner table with Thalia and the two mages, eating their fill with one seat empty, Astirix looked at it and turned to Philip, "Where is Elder and Damon?" He asked.

Philip smiled, "The elder had to go visit the main mansion; there is another meeting amongst the elders. And well, Damon… He is not important. We can solve this problem with or without him; after all, on Sunday, he will no longer be a part of the Wyneguards." He said before taking a sip of his wine.

The High Mage raised his eyebrows as he was baffled by what he heard, "Why would he no longer be a part of the Wyneguard?" He asked.

"It's false." A voice came from the stairs causing everyone on the table to look towards it; Damon stood tall with his chest up high, looking more prideful than ever walking down the stairs with his newly tailored suit.

"Who is that?" The old mage asked as he looked at the chubby young master. Xandra, Damon Wyne's fiance, was also perplexed; she could see the similarities, but Damon's demeanour had changed too much for her even to consider that he and the shy boy that she was engaged to be the same person, 'Could he be a secret brother then?'

"Damon? You came…" Philip commented while Thalia just stared at Damon, wondering if anyone could change this fast in terms of behaviour.

'This was really Damon?' Was what went through both the mage's heads; only a year ago, they saw him meek and scared for no apparent reason at all, but now, it was almost as if another possessed him.

Damon then sat on the chair where his plate was filled with cold steak. But he didn't care. Instead, he looked around at the guest and his two "family" members.

From afar, he could see his reflection looking scared and cringing at every second.

"It is nice to meet you agai-" Before the High Mage could even finish his sentence, Damon crossed his hands and muttered loudly, "So what have you sons of bitches been talking behind my back?"

As his reflection heard that, he felt as if he was going to die for the second time.
