Everybody paused for a brief second, the idea incredibly ridiculous.
"Peter Lawson, you can't even afford a decent outfit. What makes you think you could afford a nine hundred and seventy thousand Himalaya Birkin?" Evelyn burst out laughing as the other staff joined in. Peter smiled. "How about... we make a deal then?" he muttered with a silly grin. "A deal?" Evelyn puffed. "What deal could you possibly win against me? have you forgotten back in high school, you'd always lose to me?." Peter kept quiet, choosing not to say anything stupid. He had a better idea. He would play dumb for as long as it took, then use Evelyn’s own words against her. "If I’m able to buy this bag, you’ll get on both knees and beg for my forgiveness… for everything you’ve done to me since high school and right here." Peter said, his expression rigid. "Are you out of your damn mind?" Mr. Harrison snapped. "You want my girlfriend to kneel down to you? Do you want me to put an end to your life right this moment?" he said in total annoyance. Evelyn seemed quite interested in the deal. She knew Peter was all talk and no action. He simply wanted to humiliate her in front of everyone by making her think he could afford such a luxury bag. She knew him even better than he knew himself and wouldn’t fall for his bullshit. "Babe, calm down." she cooed, soothing her lover. "I know his type. And I know exactly how to handle them." She then turned to Peter. "So what’s in for me if you fail to buy this bag?" "Anything you want." "Anything I want?" she giggled, "Okay then. If you don’t buy this bag, I want you to get on your knees and lick my toes right in front of all these people." Evelyn said with a cruel glint in her eyes. "And not only that..." Peter Paused. "What else?" "I want you permanently banned from ever stepping foot in this mall again." He gave it one last thought. What if it doesn’t work as Mr. Oscar had said earlier? What if the card doesn’t actually have twenty million dollars? It would be a complete disgrace, and he would certainly be blacklisted from setting foot in the K&Q luxury mall again. He took a deep breath and said shockingly, "I accept. But only on one condition." Evelyn laughed along with her boyfriend. "You don’t get to add conditions when you’re the one making the offer." "If I pay for the bag, you can’t step foot in any luxury store either. You’ll be blacklisted permanently, and not just that... you cannot shop online as well." Peter said, not giving her room to finish. "Sounds interesting... Okay, I accept." Evelyn declared. Maria stepped forward and tapped Peter gently, concern genuinely written all over her face. "Sir, you don’t have to do this. Just ignore her and leave rather than humiliating yourself in front of everyone." Peter laughed softly. "You don't need to worry about me, if there’s someone you need to be worried about, it should be her." he said. "Are you sure you want to do this, man? You don’t have to humiliate yourself just to prove a point." Mr. Harrison added sarcastically. "Don’t tell me you’re scared on your girlfriend’s behalf?" Peter replied, which only made them angrier. "Very well then. Sign here." Jane stepped forward with legal paperwork and handed Peter a pen. "If you fail to purchase this bag, you will be permanently banned by the Luxury Affairs Commission from ever stepping foot in any luxury mall again. And if you fail to fulfill the rest of the deal, you will be arrested for breach of contract. I advise you to think wisely." Peter glanced at her and smirked. He took the pen and signed boldly on the paper. His confidence began to make Evelyn question her decision, but she had gone too far to back down now. Jane walked over to Evelyn and handed her the same pen and paper. "Sign here, Miss Evelyn. The same rules applies to you as well. if you breach the contract, you know what the repercussions are." "I know, Jane. Now let’s see him try to pay for that diamond bag." Evelyn replied, shrugging off her racing heart. She knew Peter was all talk and would prove it in front of everyone here watching. "How do you intend to pay, Sir?" Maria asked, not giving Jane the chance to steal her spotlight like she always does. Peter reached into his pocket, pulled out his wallet and removed his black card, handing it over to Maria with ease. The moment Maria saw it, she gasped. The Four Crown Black Card. Although she was still a newbie, her training had covered different payment cards and how to identify elite customers. She knew exactly what this card represented. During the same training, she had also been taught that discrimination was strictly forbidden in this business. Some billionaires preferred to dress simply, and sales personnel were always advised to treat every customer with respect and professionalism. But I guess the same training rules somehow didn't apply to Jane. Maria couldn’t believe her eyes as she held the card in her hand. This customer had just handed her the Four Crown Black Card—a card issued exclusively to members of the four most powerful families in the country: the Grahams, the Duvalls, the Johnsons, and the Callahas. Their wealth was so immense that their accounts were managed directly by the World Bank. Anyone who possessed such a card had to be a member of one of these elite families. "Oh my gosh, this is a Four Crown Black Card," she said, still in shock. "A what?" Jane muttered, stepping forward as she snatched the card to inspect it herself. "What is a crown four black Card or whatever the hell she just said?" Evelyn asked with a furrowed brow. "The Four Crown Black Card is a rare card issued only to the four most elite families in the country," Mr. Harrison whispered audibly to his girlfriend, his voice shaking slightly as reality might slowly begin to settle in. "If he truly owns it, then I'm afraid we’re in big trouble, babe." Peter simply smiled to himself. For the first time in his life, the feeling of helplessness he had always felt around the rich had completely reversed. He felt extremely powerful watching fear creep into Harrison's voice. "I’m sure that shit is fake. I know for a fact it is." Evelyn snarled, trying hard to convince herself. "I doubt it’s fake, Miss Evelyn." Jane stepped closer, "The original ones are thicker and have authorized signatures. This one has both." her voice suddenly became softer and lighter. Peter seeing their confused state of shock simply smiled, tucking his hands back into his pockets as he radiated with pride. "No way!" Evelyn shook her head. "There's no way someone as poor as him would possess something like that. I know his family, he stays with his poor grandmother, and his foster parents died in a car accident years ago. I’m a hundred percent certain he stole that shit. Call your manager right now!" Jane grabbed the telephone without wasting a minute and dialed a number, she whispered something inaudible over the phone. And In less than a minute, the manager appeared.Latest Chapter
Chapter 100 ~ Our New Roommate
Peter looked toward Tom’s side of the dorm. It was completely empty. His clothes were gone, his shoes were gone, his bed was no longer where it used to be. None of his belongings were left in the room. “What the hell?” he murmured, surprised. “What happened?” He turned to Owen, asking. “I don’t know, men” Owen mumbled, gesturing with his hand. “I just came back from the tournament and saw he was gone. He barely slept here after that night.” he replied, worry evident in his voice. Owen was scared because he felt Tom might rat him out to the police or the security department over Punch’s murder, despite Owen having explained that it was simply an act of self-defense. “This is not good,” Peter said, grabbing his head to ease the sharp ache. He had just come back from a game that had drained almost all his energy, and now he had to deal with this? If only he had known, he would have headed straight to the mansion instead. “I saw him at the gymnasium. He couldn’t even look me in the

“You’re all a bunch of perverts. Do something meaningful with your time and stop whoring around,” Peter hollered, not giving a fuck about what was running through their minds.“Coming from someone who was dumped by his girlfriend? Yeah, how ironic,” a voice followed mockingly.Peter charged toward the source, fury flashing across his face.“What the fuck did you just say to me?” he gritted out, attacking the guy who had made the statement as the others quickly stepped in to pull them apart before things turned ugly.“He’s so delusional. Why the hell is he fighting over a celebrity who doesn’t even know he exists?” a boy whispered from the sidelines.“What do you expect from a broke loser? He’s obsessed with the Graham family, wishing he could be one of them.”Though they tried their best to keep their voices low, Peter still managed to hear every word. If only they knew that, in fact, he really did belong to the Graham family. While the commotion and argument between Peter and his tea
Chapter 098 ~ Veronica Graham
“Holy Mary, Mother of God! Peter, who is she?” Maya asked in a low tone as Peter instantly caught himself.“Shit, forgive me. Where are my manners?” he exclaimed, slapping his forehead before gesturing toward Mia for an introduction. “Grandma, Lucia, meet Mia. She’s, uh... a friend,”Mia shot him a quick look. Acknowledging her as a friend already was something she never expected.“Mia, this is my Grandmother Maya, and uhm, Lucia, my girlfriend.”The moment Maya heard the word girlfriend, she burst with excitement like a seventeen-year-old teenager whose favorite hobby was shipping any man and woman who looked good together.“I knew you two were something. I could just tell,” Maya said, still smiling. When Mia heard Peter call Lucia his girlfriend, her expression shifted with surprise. She had never known he had a girlfriend. She cleared her throat, flustered, the moment she realized Peter was done talking. “Uh, Hi... my name is Mia Salvador. I’m a student from the Department of Music
Chapter 097 ~ Mystery Girl
“Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of the first round of this year’s basketball tournament! The one and only... Team Titans!” the announcer shouted, the crispness in his voice energizing the crowd as they erupted into a victorious roar. Peter and his teammates began shaking hands and congratulating each other for a game well played. When Peter got closer to Bryan for a handshake, Bryan seemed cooler all of a sudden. The pressure Peter had applied to his neck earlier had apparently rearranged a few things in his head. “Hey, sorry about earlier, and, uhm... thanks for not messing this up for me, for the guys.” Peter said, stretching out his hand for a handshake. But Bryan simply waved it off in his usual fashion. “Keep those fake apologies to yourself. I wouldn’t be all excited if I were you. Do you think I’m stupid? You think I’d sabotage a game that meant so much to me, more than it does to anyone else on the team, just because of... you?” Peter rolled his eyes, momentarily s
Chapter 096 ~ Game Over
The referee’s whistle pierced through the deafening roar of the gymnasium before he tossed the ball high into the air. Both centers leaped for it, their hands reaching above them as the crowd held its breath. A quick tap from Chris sent the ball toward the Rebels. The moment it landed in their possession, the game came to life. Sneakers squeaked against the polished floor, players called out to one another, and students in the stands erupted with cheers as the Rebels pushed forward. Chris took control of the ball, dribbling confidently as he crossed the court. He glanced toward the basket, then quickly passed to a teammate on the wing before cutting toward the paint. The ball came back to him moments later, and he immediately drove toward the hoop, finishing with a smooth layup as the ball dropped inside the basket, putting the first points on the board for the Rebels. The Rebels section of the stands erupted with cheers and whistles. They clapped loudly, chanting their te
Chapter 095 ~ The Titans Vs The Rebels
“Let me go, you prick!” Bryan cursed, struggling to break free, but Peter was simply too powerful for him. “Shut the fuck up and listen to me,” Peter gritted out, his face rigid. “If you dare do anything funny, anything at all that could sabotage this match. I promise I’ll kill you with my bare hands.” Bryan stood still, breathing heavily as he stared Peter dead in the eyes. He began to wonder what had come over Peter. Lately, he has been acting like a dog without a leash. “Just let me go, man,” Bryan muttered, pushing Peter’s hands away as Peter finally released him. Immediately Peter let go, Bryan began to cough, rubbing his neck to ease the pain where Peter’s arm had pressed against. “Let this be the last time you talk shit about my family. If you do it again, your neck won’t be the only thing I’ll be putting pressure on,” Peter said with a hard face “And by the way, the real Gramont sneakers cost twenty thousand dollars, don't ask me how I know. Try me again, and I’ll
