Everybody paused for a brief second, the idea seeming incredibly ridiculous to them.

"Peter Lawson, you can't even afford a decent outfit. What makes you think you could afford a nine hundred and seventy thousand dollars Himalaya Birkin?" Evelyn burst out laughing as the other staff joined in.

"How about we make a deal then?" Peter muttered with a silly smile.

"What deal could you possibly win against me?" Evelyn shot back. "Maybe you’ve forgotten that back in high school, you were always the loser between the two of us."

Peter kept quiet, choosing not to reveal who he was just yet. Instead, he had a better idea. He would play dumb for as long as it took, then use Evelyn’s own words against her—“a loser.”

"If I’m able to buy this bag, you’ll get on both knees and beg for my forgiveness… for everything you’ve done to me since high school and right here," Peter said, his expression rigid.

"Man, are you out of your damn mind? You want my girlfriend to kneel down to you? Do you want me to end your life right here?" Mr. Harrison snapped in total annoyance.

But Evelyn seemed quite interested in the deal. She knew the old Peter was all talk and no action. He simply wanted to humiliate her in front of everyone by making her think he could afford such a luxury bag. She knew him even better than he knew himself and wouldn’t fall for his bullshit.

"Babe, calm down," she said, soothing her boyfriend. "I know his type. And I know exactly how to handle him."

She then turned to Peter. "So what’s in it for me if you fail to buy the bag?"

"Anything you want," Peter replied simply.

"Okay then. If you don’t buy this bag, I want you to get on your knees and lick my toes," Evelyn replied with a cruel smirk. "And not only that..."

"What else?" Peter asked firmly.

"I want you permanently banned from ever stepping foot in this mall again."

Peter gave it one last thought. What if it doesn’t work as Mr. Oscar had said earlier? What if the card doesn’t actually have twenty million dollars? It would be a complete disgrace, and he would certainly be blacklisted from every luxury mall in the country.

He took a deep breath and said shockingly, "I accept. But only on one condition."

Evelyn laughed along with her boyfriend. "You don’t get to add conditions when you’re the one making the offer."

"If I pay for the bag, you can’t step foot in any luxury store either. You’ll be blacklisted permanently, and not just that... you cannot shop online as well." Peter said, not giving her room to finish.

"Mhmm, interesting... Okay, I accept," Evelyn declared.

Maria stepped forward and tapped Peter gently, concern genuinely written all over her face. "Sir, you don’t have to do this. Just ignore her and leave rather than humiliating yourself in front of everyone."

Peter laughed. "Don’t worry about me. But if there’s someone you need to be worried about, it should be her," he said, refusing to back down.

"Are you sure you want to do this, man? You don’t have to humiliate yourself just to prove a point," Mr. Harrison added sarcastically.

"Don’t tell me you’re scared on your girlfriend’s behalf?" Peter replied, which only made them angrier.

"Very well then. Sign here," Jane stepped forward with legal paperwork and handed Peter a pen. "If you fail to purchase this bag, you will be permanently banned by the Luxury Affairs Commission from ever stepping foot in any luxury mall again. And if you fail to fulfill the rest of the deal, you will be arrested for breach of contract. I advise you to think wisely."

Peter glanced at her and smirked. He took the pen and signed boldly. His confidence began to make Evelyn question her decision, but she had gone too far to back down now.

Jane walked over to Evelyn and handed her the same pen and paper. "Sign here, Miss Evelyn. The same rules applies to you as well. if you breach the contract, you know what the repercussions are."

"I know, Jane. Now let’s see him try to pay for that diamond bag," Evelyn replied, feigning bravery even as her heart beat faster... but she shrugged it off anyway, she knew Peter was all talk and would prove it in front of everyone right here, watching.

"How do you intend to pay, Sir?" Maria asked, not giving Jane the chance to steal her moment like she always does.

Peter reached into his pocket, pulled out his wallet and removed his black card, handing it over to Maria with ease.

The moment Maria saw it, she gasped. The Four Crown Black Card.

Although she was still a newbie, her training had covered different payment cards and how to identify elite customers. She knew exactly what this card represented.

During the same training, she had also been taught that discrimination was strictly forbidden in this business. Some billionaires preferred to dress simply, and sales personnel were always advised to treat every customer with respect and professionalism.

But I guess the same rules somehow didn't apply to Jane.

Maria couldn’t believe her eyes as she held the card in her hand.

This customer had just handed her the Four Crown Black Card—a card issued exclusively to members of the four most powerful families in the country: the Grahams, the Duvalls, the Johnsons, and the Carters. Their wealth was so immense that their accounts were managed directly by the World Bank.

Anyone who possessed such a card had to be a member of one of these elite families.

"Oh my gosh, this is a Four Crown Black Card," she said, still in shock.

"A what?" Jane yelled, stepping forward as she snatched the card to inspect it herself.

"What the hell is a crown four black Card or whatever the fuck you just said?" Evelyn asked with a furrowed brow.

"The Four Crown Black Card is a rare card issued only to the four most elite families in the country," Mr. Harrison whispered audibly to his girlfriend, his voice shaking slightly as reality might slowly begin to settle in. "If he truly owns it, then I'm afraid we’re in big trouble, babe."

Peter simply smiled to himself. For the first time in his life, the feeling of helplessness he had always felt around the rich had completely reversed. He felt extremely powerful watching the fear creep into Harrison's voice.

"I’m sure that shit is fake. I know for a fact it is," Evelyn puffed out, trying hard to convince herself.

"I doubt it’s fake, Miss Evelyn," Jane said, her voice growing quieter as realization also begin to kick in. "The original ones are thicker and have authorized signatures. This one has both."

Peter smiled, tucking his hands back into his pockets as pride radiated from him.

"No way," Evelyn shook her head. "No way someone as poor as him would possess something like that. I know his family, he stays with his poor grandmother, and his foster parents died in a car accident years ago. I’m a hundred percent sure he stole that card. Call your manager right now!"

Jane grabbed the telephone without wasting a minute and dialed a number, she whispered something inaudible over the phone. And In less than seven seconds, the manager appeared on the scene.

"Everyone, our manager is here already."

After classes, Peter rushed outside the classroom with his backpack. He hadn’t even made it halfway through when Owen rushed toward him, grabbing him by the shoulder as he beamed. "Peter..." he called out to his friend. Peter smiled warmly upon seeing him. "Owen..." he replied, returning the gesture as they both began to walk along. Owen could see him carrying an extra bag and knew it was definitely his training gear, so he assumed he was going for basketball training. "You’re going to train?" he asked, even though he already knew the answer. "Yeah..." Peter replied simply. "Me too," Owen said, showing his own bag with his training apparatus. "Okay then, let’s go together," Peter replied as they both walked along. The Principal had already drafted the basketball tournament for this year’s school games. The first match was ‘The Rebels’ against ‘The Titans’ that meant, Chris’s team Vs Peter's team. They walked up to the training facility and saw the leaderboard sho

He looked at Punch, then looked back at Peter. He might not have come with a few guys, but he didn’t even need a few guys if Punch was right beside him. Though he was bandaged up, at least he still had the other hand working perfectly fine. He could handle small Peter Lawson. In that instant, Troy cleared his throat as he faced Punch. "Deal with this bastard!" he commanded. But Punch wasn’t quite sure he was talking to him. It couldn’t have been him. He was literally bandaged with one fucking arm. Even a blind man could see he was in no position to fight right now. Not to mention, Peter had literally beaten his ass to half death, but Troy wouldn’t understand that because he had no idea Peter was the one responsible for his friend’s attack. "Wha… what?" Punch stammered, frowning in confusion as if he wasn’t sure what he just heard. "I said, deal with this bastard. Make sure you break his nose before security arrives," Troy repeated, chuckling at Peter as he waited for Punch to

Four days later. News about Punch’s attack had already spread like wildfire by now. Everybody was shocked about who the mysterious person was that had humbled one of the university’s most ruthless bullies. If you asked Punch what happened to him, he would simply reply, “I didn’t see their faces. They were covered with masks.” That was the reply he gave the police, and the same reply he gave a few of his friends whenever they asked him about it. But he knew better. **** On this bright day, it was an early Monday morning, and students were scrambling around the school environment. Some were making their way to class, others were chatting about God knows what as they laughed along. Peter stepped into the school building, carrying his backpack on one shoulder as he walked softly along the hallway. Not too long after, he saw Lucia at her locker. She was searching for something... maybe her book or a note, he couldn’t tell. Either way, he walked up to her, memories from the

Peter chuckled as he stepped backward, intending to give Punch the shock of his life... something he never expected in a lifetime. "Deal with him," Peter muttered. Immediately, Jake, Ethan, and Ben began to crack their knuckles with menacing glares. Without wasting any more minute, they began punching Punch like he was a total stranger. Ethan stomped him right in the chest as he sprawled to the ground. Ben kept his fists on his gut and arms, tearing into him like his life depended on it. Jake, on the other hand, wrapped the heavy chain they had brought earlier around his fist. In that instant, he used it to strike Punch on the jaw. Blood gushed out of his mouth like a tap as he fell flat on the ground. "Please… have mercy on me," Punch pleaded. He couldn’t take it anymore. He had obviously never been beaten like this since he was born, yet he had always found pleasure in dealing with others. After Peter heard his broken plea, he got even madder. How dare this satan beg for mercy

  • Chapter 030 ~ The Twist

The four figures were Punch accompanied by his usual men—Jake, Ethan, and Ben. They jumped out, all carrying unforgiving objects as they glared at Peter. Their faces were covered with the masks they had bought from the store earlier, their hands gloved up in black. Peter stopped immediately, twitching his lips, because he’d been expecting them. Slowly, they began to circle him as Punch stepped even closer. The same metal baseball bat from earlier was held firmly in his hand. "Peter Lawson..." Punch began, stretching the name like a rubber band. That usual cruel, sinister smile sitting warmly on his face made him look even more menacing. "I’ve heard so much about you these past few days… you’ve been killing it. Trending on the school’s gossip site… buying a girl a handbag worth over a million dollars." He paused, rotating the bat in his hand as he stared Peter right in the eyes. "You’ve been really showing out. But maybe you’ve forgotten you owe me ten thousand dollars..." he sa

Sophia was watching them from a distance as they played in the pool. Lucia was splashing water on Peter, and Peter was splashing back. They were really having a good time, and she hated every single bit of it. Peter stopped for a second, looking into her eyes. He could see his own reflection as he held her firmly in the water. Lucia’s heart, on the other hand, was beating fast. She couldn’t explain it at that moment, but something inside her wanted to jump on top of Peter. Peter’s dick got really hard. He felt a sudden urge at that moment, but he was a gentleman and knew how to control himself. He understood what respect for women meant. "Are you okay?" Lucia asked, noticing his body movements. "Uhm… yeah. I am. It’s just that… you’re… uhm…" "Pretty hot?" Lucia helped him complete his intended statement. Peter began to cough violently, as if choking on water. He never expected her to be so direct. "It’s fine if you’re not comfortable. I can understand, honestly," Lucia murmur
