008: Quite the luck ain't it?

After breakfast, I proceeded to Makiling Forest once again to hunt. 

"Hm, so it was already my third day of coming here huh?" I mumbled.

Just as I was about to enter the forest, I suddenly heard a familiar voice, calling for my name.

"Theodore! Hey!" I immediately turned away after knowing that the one calling for me was none other than Sasha. 

No, no, no.." I entered the forest and proceeded to go deeper and arrive at phase three of the forest where monsters higher than blue leaf boar can be found.

"Why was he in a hurry?" She mumbled and left.

[MONSTER NAME: GREEN BULLDOZER] [LEVEL: 05]

[LOCATION: MAKILING FOREST, THIRD PHASE]

[DESCRIPTION: Green Bulldozer, a monster higher level than Blue Leaf Boar. They lurked upon the third phase of the Makiling Forest.]

The green bulldozer differed from the green leaf boar by a lot. its strength was much higher but not quite destructible like the mutated purple boar though, in terms of speed, they were almost equally the same.

"It will be different this time." I mumbled.

Though its name was a green bulldozer, its attack pattern was completely different from the others even for the mutated ones. Their tactics were to rush to their enemies while not going to ravage them but will whip their fragile human bodies using their poisonous sharp tails.

[LOCATION: Makiling Forest, Phase 3]

I decided to go even deeper since there were currently no bulldozers in the vicinity is what I thought. "This bloodlust!" I readied myself from any incoming danger and took my sight on each of every nook of the forest and noticed that I had been cornered by three green bulldozers.

"Tsk, that's why players don't come here when they were alone!" I mumbled.

Besides their different attacking pattern, Green Bulldozers loved to attack their prey by cornering them and will at the same time attack without restraint.

"I need to get away here!" I took the azure knife from my inventory and tried to breakthrough through their tactic but failed to do so. "Hah! these guys were persistent!." I had no choice but to wait, wait for the chance that I may take. 

I waited for them to attack and just a few moments, the three simultaneously rushed towards me, I readied myself and just as it was about to enter my range, I jump with all my might and escape from their cornering tactics while they struck their own head with each other, giving me more time to run.

"Thankfully, this was a forest." I mumbled.

I hurriedly ran towards no destination and make use of the environment to retaliate. I waited for them to scatter one by one, "Ohh? would you look at this!" I mumbled.

Just as I was running, I noticed a bloodlust in the front, and saw a distinct appearance similar to that of a Mutated Purple Boar.

"I got it!" I took advantage of Mutated Purple Boar's arrival. It rushes toward me while the three green bulldozers chase me from behind. I leaped and stretched my arms to grab out for the tree's thin branch just before the Mutated Purple Boar was about to hit me.

"Hah! bro looked, those three bulldozers wanted to enter your domain~" I yelled out.

The Mutated Purple Boar saw the three green bulldozers entering his territorial domain and changed its target from me to them.

"Let's see, what would happen when a mutated boar had been cornered by three bulldozers," I mumbled.

The three bulldozers looked in each other and decided to also change their target. One of them attack from the front while the two rushes toward the sides, cornering the mutated boar before simultaneously attacking it.

"Hoh? The same tactic.." I mumbled, readying myself to take advantage of their fight.

The three finally attacked while the mutated boar began to scratch the ground, indicating that it will commence its ravaging attack.

Just as the three were getting closer to its range, the mutated boar commenced its ravaging attack knocking those two from the sides while completely breaking through their cornering tactic.

The Mutated Purple Boar roared, inflicting a deafening sound on the other one.  The two who were pushed back from afar gained their consciousness and proceeded to use their cornering tactic once again.

"That tactic again?" I mumbled.

The Mutated Purple Boar tried to commence its ravaging attack once again but failed to do so since this time, the three tactics took an effect. They successfully cornered the Mutated Purple Boar and ravaged the single Mutated Purple Boar and simultaneously whip their tail to its supposedly indestructible body. 

"Right now!" I jumped toward the broad back of the mutated purple boar and struck its weak point which was its head with a single attack. 

[SYSTEM MESSAGE: Successfully killed Mutated Purple Boar.]

[EXP GAINED: 1000 POINTS]

The three green bulldozers saw my arrival and how I killed the mutated boar in their presence. The three retaliated and were about to strike me with their deadly poisonous tail. 

I would undoubtedly die in this scenario if the three struck me with their poisonous tail is what they thought. 

"I really can't defeat you guys, is what you all thought!" I abruptly opened my inventory and took out a shield, successfully defending myself from their three-man attack. "Its my turn now, ain't it?" I mumbled.

I pushed back the three with all my might using the shield and successfully breaks through their cornering tactics. The three pushed back from afar that resulting in them being scattered. I took the azure knife on my inventory and quickly dashed through my first target which was the green bulldozer on the side that was looking tired, striking through its chin that killed it almost instantly.

[SYSTEM MESSAGE: Successfully killed  Green Bulldozer.]

[EXP GAINED: 200 POINTS]

"Don't worry, you two were next~" The two green bulldozers felt the danger through my presence and decided to run with no destination in mind. "Isn't it more favored for me that you guys parted ways?" I mumbled.

The Green Bulldozer was about to escape from my grasp but not until I saw a vine on the branch of the tree. I leaped through the air and took the chance to use the vine like a Tarzan. Swinging through its range and landing at exactly its broad back. I raised my azure knife and struck its upper neck that quickly piercing through with the help of the momentum that I accumulated.

[SYSTEM MESSAGE: Successfully killed  Green Bulldozer.]

[EXP GAINED: 200 POINTS]

After that, I started to chase the last Green Bulldozer by following its trail, going deeply and deeply through the forest, and finding a more traceable trail which was blood. 

I tried to follow the trace of blood, going deep into the dark part of the forest.

"What's this ominous feeling?" I mumbled.

Just as I was about to enter the dark part of the forest, I felt an immense pressure from the air.

"A-A bloodlust!"
