007: A Nightmare

At that point, I understood that the only people who could stop you from going crazy were your dearest family. They will be the ones to make you feel so relieved that you will almost immediately and helplessly put your head on their shoulders while forgetting everything around you.

I told mom to go outside first and thankfully she agreed. 

"Hm, you're the one behind this right?" I walk closer to the supposed leader and asked if he was the one behind this nonsensical event.

"Y-Yes.. Ah, no, I was just ordered by our boss. I even told him that this kind of situation would put us in danger but he didn't listen. P-Please let me just go.." He took a step back as he spoke.

I abruptly took the azure knife from my inventory once again and threw the knife to the wall that was an inch closer to the supposed leader's scaredy face.

"A-Ahh!" He yelled out of fear like a girl whilst his pants suddenly turned wet.

"Did you just wet your pants?" I asked, slowly approaching him. "Tell, how did it come to this?" 

"W-What does sir mean?"

"Didn't our debt supposedly be paid already?" I took the knife from the wall and pointed the sharp blade onto his fragile neck.

"I-I your father, yes, it has been paid already. But the problem was my boss, he forcefully took your father's approval to increase the interest rate." He said, sweating in fear.

I stretch back my arms and returned the azure knife to the inventory. "Go outside and tell my parents that the debt has already been paid."

"B-But my boss-" 

"Just GO!" I yelled out to his ear.

The supposed leader hurriedly went outside and talked to my mother in a humble tone while I who was turning my head back saw those four guys, lying on the cold dusty floor.

I immediately checked their situation and was relieved to know that there was no blood nor wound and remembered that I only struck them using the hilt of the azure knife.

"What a mess.." I mumbled. "Ohh?" Just as I was about to go outside, I noticed that there were those other people being tied up while facing the ground with their lips kissing the dusty floor.

"A-Ahh, you guys stopped facing the floor any longer." I said, hurriedly untying the rope from their feet and hands.

"W-Who are you?" A man probably in his fifties asked while shaking their clothes to remove the dust.

"T-Theodore, that's my name. You guys can now go, your family should be waiting for your arrival." I bowed my head just after I spoke.

""Hoho, what well-mannered youngin you are." We bid our farewells that time and eventually part ways.

Just as my mother and I were walking down the street, she suddenly spoke and asked something. "Theodore, did you just threaten sir George?"

"George? Is that the name of that fatty?" I asked.

"Yes, he told me that our debt had already been paid and was sweating in fear as he speak to me." 

"Ahh, I didn't threaten him. I just informed him that what he did may put him in jail and so that happened." I diverted my face to the other side just as I spoke.

"Good to hear, and what about those four that lying on the floor? what happened to them?" She asked, showing a worried expression on his face.

"About that, no need to be worried. They were just knocked down and lost consciousness." I stretch my arms to his shoulders and immediately changed the topic.

"So that was one of your given abilities?" She asked, pertaining to the time she sees me taking a knife out of nowhere.

"Yes, it was an inventory. Um, it was hard to explain the principle behind it but you may just take it as an invincible wallet." I explained while demonstrating it once again.

[10:34 PM, Tuesday], [LOCATION: My room]

Just as I was about to take off my shoes, I suddenly lay down on the bed and fell asleep once again.

[6:30 AM, Wednesday], [LOCATION: My room]

"N-Nooo!" I forcefully woke up from my slumber and immediately went to my mother's room. "Mom?" I opened the door and saw nothing. "Mom!" I yelled out and was just about to turn around and felt something on my shoulder.

"Theodore, you're looking for me?" Mother asked, whilst her graceful hand was on my shoulder.

"M-Mom! I thought you I-" She suddenly hugged me and patted my back and spoke, "That was just a dream. Your sister and I will be safe no matter what, so don't worry. Go with me to the kitchen and help me prepare our breakfast." 

"O-Okay.." 

[EARLIER THAT TIME]

I woke up and immediately went to the Makiling Forest to hunt once again. It was my third day of hunting and eventually leveled up from 8 to 10. I wanted to select my class now and browse the internet for information on how I am supposed to choose a class and learned that everything will be solved if I go to Ayala Greenfield Golf Course. 

After learning that piece of information, I first continued to hunt for another three hours and leveled up to 11 before I went to the Ayala Greenfield. 

While I was on my way to the Ayala Greenfield, my phone rang ceaselessly and I immediately took the phone on my inventory. 

[NDRRMC: Napakaraming unidentified monsters sa Los Baños, Laguna. Sa lahat ng mga mamamayang nakatira dito, manatili sa loob ng inyong bahay at huwag kayong magbukas ng pinto sa sinuman.]

TRANSLATED: [NDRRMC: There are so many unidentified monsters in Los Baños, Laguna. To all those citizens who lived here, stay inside your house and don't open your door to anyone.]

Upon learning the news, I hurriedly contacted my mom and sister but no one answered and decided to go there myself but to only learn that the entire area of Laguna has turned into ruins, with no one left alive.
