Prince Of Blood And Obsidian

‎Cool, warm air drifted slowly across my skin, soothing and strangely comforting. My eyes opened at a snail's pace, heavy as though they had remained shut for centuries. The first thing I noticed was that I was lying on a king-sized bed unlike any I had ever seen before.

‎As my vision gradually cleared, I examined my surroundings. The walls on every side were crafted from polished crimson-red stone, their surfaces gleaming faintly beneath the room's eerie glow. The floor, meanwhile, appeared to be carved entirely from obsidian, its black surface smooth enough to reflect the dim light dancing across it.

‎I let out a long sigh and pushed myself upright. My back rested against an intricately carved wooden headboard decorated with strange runes and monstrous figures.

‎Darkness seeped into the chamber through four massive reinforced steel windows embedded into the walls. Beyond them, I could see nothing but an endless sea of blackness and two red moons.

‎Where have I been sent to? I wondered.

‎This room was unlike anything I had ever encountered in my previous life. It was absurdly large—large enough to comfortably accommodate fifty people, perhaps even more, while still leaving plenty of space unused.

‎My gaze slowly traveled upward. The ceiling towered far above me, resembling the roof of a palace rather than a bedroom. My eyes widened slightly when I noticed streams of active lava flowing through a network of transparent pipes built into the structure. The molten rivers illuminated the room with a fiery orange glow, casting shifting shadows across the crimson walls.

‎Whatever material those pipes were made from, I had absolutely no idea. It had to be something capable of withstanding unimaginable temperatures.

‎Curiosity burned within me.

‎I swung my legs off the bed and stood up before striding toward an enormous mirror nearly eighteen feet tall, firmly mounted against the wall.

‎The moment I stood before it, my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. My heart skipped a beat. If surprise were a living being, then it had chosen this exact moment to ambush me.

‎The person staring back from the mirror wasn't me. I was not in my own body. The body reflected before me was completely unfamiliar. It was also completely naked.

‎Oddly enough, that part felt familiar. In my previous life, I had never been particularly fond of wearing clothes whenever I had the luxury of privacy.

‎A creepy grin slowly spread across my face.

‎The man in the mirror possessed pale, almost flawless skin. I raised a hand and touched my face, confirming that what I was seeing was real. One eye burned with a fierce crimson flame, resembling the eye of a dragon. The other glowed with a brilliant emerald radiance. Small, razor-sharp horns protruded from a head of wild white hair that cascaded past my shoulders.

‎I looked both terrifying and majestic.

‎Slowly, I raised my hand and examined it. Then I clenched it into a fist. Instantly, raw strength surged through my veins like a raging river. The sensation was intoxicating.

‎In my previous life, even at my strongest, my body could never generate this much power without being reinforced by Qi. But this... This was different. This strength was natural. Innate. As if every muscle, every bone, and every drop of blood within me had been forged for battle.

‎A wave of excitement swept through me. My grin widened further.

‎Have I truly been reborn? I questioned myself once more.

‎There was only one way to find out.

‎Without hesitation, I clenched my right fist so tightly that my nails dug into my palm. Crimson blood trickled down my hand. Pain shot through my nerves. Yet instead of discomfort, I felt relief. The pain confirmed it. This wasn't a dream. I had truly been granted a second life.

‎Then something even more astonishing happened. Before I could fully process my thoughts, the wound began to close. The flesh knitted itself together at a speed faster than my brain could comprehend. Within moments, there wasn't even a scar left behind.

‎My eyes narrowed. What kind of body is thi—

‎My thoughts were abruptly interrupted.

‎A glowing screen materialized before me.

‎-----

‎[System Reinitialization]

‎Host Soul Integration: 100%

‎Bloodline Analysis: Dragon... Orc Fusion Complete

‎[Host Has Successfully Been Reborn]

‎-----

‎The familiar screen hovered before my eyes. My expression darkened slightly. It was the same mysterious artifact that had somehow saved my life. Yet I still understood nothing about it.

‎What exactly was it? Why had it chosen me? And what purpose did it serve?

‎For now, all I could do was speculate.

‎The screen flickered once more.

‎-----

‎[Halfbreed System]

‎Congratulations on Being Reborn Into the World of Magic and Talent, Host.

‎-----

‎"Magic? Talent?" I muttered, placing a hand beneath my chin.

‎Before I could think further, another notification appeared.

‎-----

‎[Main Mission: Total Domination of the World and Beyond]

‎-----

‎For a brief moment, silence filled the room. Then an even wider grin stretched across my face. I could feel my blood boiling with excitement. My heart raced.

‎This system... It understood me perfectly.

‎Another screen emerged.

‎-----

‎A final message appeared.

‎-----

‎[Welcome, Heir of Chaos and Bringer of Death]

‎-----

‎"Interesting," I muttered.

‎I wasn't merely reborn. I had been reborn as royalty. A prince.

‎A dark chuckle escaped my lips before growing into full-blown laughter that echoed throughout the enormous chamber.

‎Fate truly had a twisted sense of humor.

‎Yet just as my excitement reached its peak— My heartbeat suddenly pulsed. Once. A violent shock coursed through my body. My vision blurred instantly. The room spun around me. I stumbled forward before collapsing onto one knee.

‎A painful cough erupted from my throat. What is happening now?

‎I gritted my teeth as another wave of dizziness struck me. The floor seemed to rise and fall beneath me like the surface of a stormy sea. My breathing grew heavier. The walls warped. The lava-lit room twisted before my eyes.

‎And deep within my mind, I felt something awakening.

‎"Seriously, Mother, you could have said something earlier," I complained, standing beside her on the grand balcony. "Here I was, getting all pumped up to cause a little chaos." ‎‎Gara threw her head back and laughed loudly, the sound rich and unrestrained. She tapped her right hand gently against my left shoulder, her touch surprisingly soft for someone of her formidable strength. ‎‎"Relax, Richard, dear," she said, wiping tiny tears of from the mirth corners of her eyes with the back of her left hand. "It was urgent. I had to send her back to the clan immediately to deliver a message to my father."‎‎"Your father?" I echoed, genuinely surprised. This was the first time I'd heard anything about him. I quickly searched through the fragmented memories of this body, but found nothing. No recollections, no whispers, no hints of a living grandfather. ‎‎"Oh. This is the first time I'm telling you about this, isn't it?" Gara recalled with a thoughtful nod. ‎‎The morning breeze swep

I asked, glancing at her once while striding toward the wardrobe that dominated one wall.‎‎"I just survived a dangerous night," she replied, swallowing hard. Her voice trembled slightly. "I think I am." She kept her head downcast, fingers nervously intertwined in front of her.‎‎I smiled sharply, a predatory glint in my eyes. "That was nothing, Chloe." My reflection stared back at me from the polished silver mirror as I stripped off my trousers, then my underwear, letting them fall carelessly to the floor. "I'm just getting started. Soon, I will rule this realm and everything beyond it." ‎‎A heavy silence settled between us for a few moments.‎‎Then she spoke again.‎‎"That is a commendable ambition, Your Highness," Chloe said, finally lifting her gaze to meet mine. "But your siblings alone are not ones to take lightly.

  • A Crown Prince Contempt

‎I glanced over my shoulder and found Bron watching me. His massive frame remained seated upon a fur-covered stone chair, his posture relaxed yet commanding. Every noble and every individual who possessed status or power sat behind the royal siblings, arranged according to rank and influence.‎‎"Even a fly can tell that you've changed," Bron observed calmly. His short, curly red hair matched his greenish eyes, while his towering figure radiated natural authority. Two massive horns curled from his forehead, making him appear more beast than man. Beneath the bright lights of the royal hall, his brown skin blended almost seamlessly with the surrounding shadows.‎‎"We will pardon your disgraceful attitude today, brother," Bron continued. "So please try not to repeat this foolishness a second time." His gaze lingered on the half-breed for a moment, filled with contempt.‎‎"What?!" Lily snapped immediately.
