Chapter 2: Into Another World

Ibuki was already in a different world, it has much more green scenery than his old world. He looks around as he realized that he was at the top of a hill, and he notices something weird.

There were big pillars scattered around all the places, the pillar reach the sky and the pillars were so high that even with his current viewpoint, he can't see the end of the pillars.

When he was about to descend from the hill, Ibuki saw a huge thing flying on passing his head. It seems like some sort of giant bird but it was kinda different from it, he realized that there was a human girl on that giant bird's feet.

That girl seems to be shouting for help but Ibuki just doesn't care about that, he just continues to descend from the hill. He just sees that there were no benefits for him to saving that girl. While descending he notices that there was no route for him to descend from the hill, he just saw a steep that could help him descend. 

With the scythe in his hand that he used it as a walking pole to help him descend faster. Ibuki thought that he will descend smoothly but he takes the wrong step as the ground was slippery and because of that slipped. He holds his scythe very tight on his palm as he was afraid that he will lose it in the fall. 

Ibuki fall as he rolls from the top of the hill to the bottom, he screams as he rolls. It does hurt him as his body gets hit by some of the rocks and tree branches. After a few minutes of pain, he finally reaches the bottom.

He was surprised that he was still alive even after that huge fall, Ibuki realized that it may be the power that Avaricex give to him. He still feels pain but all the injuries and the wound he received are gone in just seconds.

That makes Ibuki feel to test what other blessings the Demon God Avaricex gives to him and also to learn about this world. The first thing that came to his mind was the scythe that he gets from Avaricex.

"If I recall correctly, he did say that this scythe's name was SoulCursed... does this thing have to do something with soul?" As Ibuki looks into the scythe, he notices that this scythe has a single close eye.

Suddenly, the eye opened up and because of that Ibuki let go of that scythe in surprise as he didn't expect it would open. The scythe didn't fall into the ground as it floats around, the eye of that scythe kept looking towards Ibuki.

Ibuki takes a moment to calm himself as he thinks of something about the scythe but he hears something, "Looks me! I will grant you Avaricex Blessings!" Ibuki then looks back into the eye of the SoulCursed scythe. The more he looks into it, the more he felt the sensation of being burned as it kept getting hotter.

The sound that he hears in his mind becomes much clear, "I'm you! An abnormality of the old world... hates society! hates everything! We're an individual! Not a slave..."

After hearing those words, Ibuki felt his whole body getting burnt by fire. He can't hold the pain anymore so he starts running to find any water source as it may help him to relieve the pain of being burned. He didn't care about the scythe anymore as he needs a water source.

He can't find any water source as the sensation of fire kept growing strong. Ibuki feels that his skin started to melt because of that fire as he still kept running around and searching for it.

Ibuki kept running for a few minutes as he finally found a river that might help him. He quickly dips into the river but he is still being burned by something.

"Ah! I'm burning... am I going to die because of this!! ....Ahhhhhhh!" Ibuki screams.

But even with that he still didn't die and after a few hours of being burned by something unknown. That weird sensation was finally gone and Ibuki felt better all again, he then came out of the river and saw the scythe there on the ground.

Ibuki thought that the cause may be the SoulCursed Scythe, he then picks up the scythe and was about to throw it into the river but then something happens that makes him drop the scythe back to the ground.

It was because Ibuki saw the reflection of himself in the river, it showed Ibuki something worst. He was not human anymore, all left of Ibuki was a skeleton of him. It was shocking for him as he does not expect this.

"How could this happen? When I check my injuries I'm still a human and now I'm an undead skeleton..."

He then hears a similar voice before that telling him to pick up the scythe, "Look into me once more!" Ibuki felt hopeless, he then realized that it was Avaricex fault. Demons don't give blessings, demons just give the curse.

Ibuki pick up the scythe back as he looks into the eye again and said, "Now I know why your name was SoulCursed."

"Fuck you Avaricex! Is this called a blessing?"

Reincarnation for Ibuki isn't like he ever thought of, he mistook the demon curse as a blessing, and because of that he has become a skeleton or to be precise an undead skeleton.

Ibuki grabbed the SoulCursed Scythe, and the voice of the scythe was in his head and telling Ibuki to kill all and destroy everything. "Of course! I will kill all the demons... and destroy the demon entirely."

He has been fed lied by the Demon God Avaricex, Ibuki then sought revenge on the Avaricex. But first, he must a way to reach the Demon God's place, to do that he knows that he must learn about this world. He thinks that the weird tall pillars may give him a hint.

Walking towards the weird pillars, he saw another large bird again eating some human corpses. Ibuki doesn't even seem to care about the large bird as his mind was focused on revenge now.

The large bird noticed Ibuki's presence and begin to attack him, the bird's claw landed on Ibuki, and because of that, he became irritated. Ibuki doesn't suffer any damage but he was pissed about that large bird.

"I didn't bother you right!" Ibuki was mad as he takes the scythe and slashes the large bird with it. Only with one attack, the large bird died. Ibuki doesn't seem to be surprised as he knows that this scythe was special.

A pop-up appears in the bottom left corner, Ibuki just notices that there was something there. He looks closely and realized there were a notification bell and a settings icon. "What this? has my eyes broken when I became an undead."

He then focuses his attention on the red dot on the notification bell and it opens up like those in-game notifications. There he saw one unread notification, he then decided to read it and it displays something.

"What the fuck is this? Is this a fucking game!...since when I had inventory?" As soon as Ibuki said inventory, the inventory menu opens up.

There he saw a ton of items that he doesn't even know he had. One by one he browse all the time when he finished he realized that there ton of Exp Scroll and when he clicks on it. That item appears in front of him, he grabs the Exp Scroll.

"How to use this thing? Why doesn't this system give me the detail of the item." Then the item detail pops up next to the Exp Scroll.

-EXP SCROLL = Increases your EXP by 5K.

"I should have known that it just gives me the detail of the item and not the way to use it." Ibuki then opens up the scroll and the scroll vanishes in his hand. Nothing had happened but he saw the notification bell has a red dot again. He read the current notifications and when he saw it, he was quite shocked.

-Your current EXP has already maxed out, the item will be refunded.

"Wait a minute... That mean's I'm on max level." He then tests out whether the stats menu will appear by saying it and it does show up after Ibuki said the words current stats.

That was not the stats Ibuki wanted to see, it displays just a number but it does help Ibuki to see his overall power. But he wanted to see his level, HP and MP, and not his statistics.

"What else... there must be a word to see my level." Ibuki started to say a lot of words just to see whether it open up a menu or another thing. He kept trying and he then said a word that finally opens up the menu that showed his level and else. It was the word 'CHARACTER'.
