3. Truth

The butler just smiled and nodded. He can’t just hide it from him, because he knows that he was smart as his grandfather.

“We’d be happy so if you’re going to take it.” the butler said.

Hearing that makes him happy, but at the same time not happy. He badly needed money, and his grandfather’s butler showed up and helped him. He understands what was happening.

“I am sorry.” he said.

The butler looks very disappointed and shocked. He wasn’t expecting his answer like that.

“I can’t.” he shook his head.

He was even giving back the bank account, but the butler insisted not to because that was really for him.

“I understand you, Dion. Just take that. You’re going to need it to pay for the rest of your mom’s bills. But if you changed your mind, you know where to find me.” He said smiling and walked away.

The butler knows what he was doing, and he knows that Dion is going to find him. Somewhat he couldn’t stop staring at the butler walking away. Looking at the bank account, he decided to pay the rest of the $50000 of her mom’s bill. After paying the bill. He decided to check on his mom. 

“I am so happy that you’re stable right now, mom.” He can’t stop being worried.

Holding his mom’s hand makes him close his eyes. He can’t disown the woman who helped him. He kissed her forehead and promised to go back tomorrow. After talking with the doctor, he decided to go home.

“What are you still doing here?!” Rio asked him as he entered the mansion.

Rio is having a drink with Leo, and both are looking mad at him.

“I know right, you aren’t supposed to be here.” Leo added.

He doesn’t know what he means by that. He ignored them and started walking toward their room, but Rio blocked his way.

“I don’t have time to argue with you guys. I just need to rest.” he calmly said.

But Leo and Rio both laughed at him.

“Rest? And where are you going to rest? This isn’t your house anymore, poor man.” Rio said with his gritted teeth.

Dion just took a deep sigh. As much as he wants to go further, they keep on blocking him.

“Uncle already told you this isn’t your home anymore!” Leo pushed him.

He managed to be strong not to fall down.

“I just want to see my wife. I know you hate me, but don’t do this to me. I am still part of the family!” he shouted back.

They were both shocked and laughed at him.

“Dion, if you’re just too good for Georgina and the family. Why don’t you go and checkup on them at the guest house?” Rio said and asked him.

He didn’t say anything but felt very worried. He just glared at them and started running until he reached the residence in the guest house. He saw his wife just sitting without saying anything. Her parents were alerted when he arrived.

“Dion! Where the heck have you been?! This was all your fault!” Georgina’s dad yelled at him and punched him.

He was stunned and fell down to the ground. He could see all of their things messed up around.

“Dad!” Georgina urged her to stop her dad and go to help him.

Dion doesn’t understand what was happening. 

“Dion! Are you okay?” she asked him.

He just nodded and wiped the blood from his lips. Georgina angrily looked at his dad.

“Dad! What did you just do?!” she yelled at him.

Her parents just both sighed and took a deep breath. They were so restless. Both of the were madly looking at Dion right now.

“Georgina! Can't you not pretend that marrying this man brought us here?!” her mom shouted at her.

Dion knows he was useless, but he just can’t stand up for himself because he has nothing to show and prove to them.

“You are a curse to our daughter and the family! Because of you, mom kicked us from the mansion!” his dad-in-law shouted at him angrily.

He froze for a moment. He didn’t know she was going to kick them out of the mansion. He just wanted her to lend him some money. That was all.

“Wh-at?” he surprisingly asked them.

He looked at his wife, but she didn’t say a word. She looks sad as well. 

“Don’t act like you don’t know. The Beiber company is going bankrupt, Dion and it was your fault!” their dad shouted at him.

“Dad, mom! It's not his fault. Why are you all blaming and getting mad at him?!” Georgina shouted back at them.

Her dad just scoffed. Georgina always stood up for him.

“And it will not happen if Georgina here divorces you and marries Ronaldo Winlow! That way, we are all going to be saved” their dad said.

He went speechless. He never thought they were going to use this against them. They all use his poor life status to just step on him just like that. Georgina looked silent all the time. After their argument, her parents fell asleep.

 “Dion, I am so sorry that you have to experience like these things in our family.” she sadly apologized to him.

He just smiled and caressed his face. She means too much to him.

“Don’t be. I should be the one apologizing. Because if not for me, you are not thrown here. But I will not let you marry that Ronaldo, Georgina.” he firmly said.

She was shocked. She knows that her husband is not going to just let her. She nodded happily.

“I know, but how? I mean, what are you going to do? You know my family.” she softly asked him.

Dion just smiled at her.

“Just wait.” he mumbled.

He was watching his wife sleeping peacefully. He can’t stop thinking about his inheritance. He knows it’s going to save her. After a long time of thinking about it, he finally decided to accept it to save his wife.

“I will do everything to help you, Georgina. I am going to take you out from this awful family.” he sighed.
