Racheal felt her face heat up the moment Ethan spoke. Her body stiffened, and she could hardly believe what she had just heard. Had he lost his mind? Was he trying to embarrass her in front of Camille and her husband?

Ethan had always been someone Racheal couldn’t understand. He never acted like a normal person should. Instead of being humble and knowing his place, he always found a way to bring unnecessary attention to himself.

Now, in front of Camille, he had the audacity to act like he could afford anything from this luxurious boutique?

Racheal shot him a glare. “Ethan, do you even hear yourself? You don’t even have the money to buy a decent meal, and now you’re talking about buying clothes? Are you trying to make a fool of yourself? Or worse, make a fool out of me?”

Camille, who had been standing beside her husband, couldn’t hold back her laughter. She covered her mouth, but her shoulders shook as she sneered. “Oh my God, Racheal, is this really your husband? He thinks he can shop in a high-end boutique like this?”

Colema chuckled. “I’ve seen a lot of shameless people in my life, but this is a new level. A broke man trying to act rich? This is hilarious.”

The boutique manager and the staff had also heard Ethan’s words. Their expressions ranged from disbelief to amusement. It was obvious that none of them took him seriously.

Camille smirked and crossed her arms. “Ethan, I’ll give you a chance. Since you’re so confident, let’s make a bet.”

Ethan turned to her and asked. “What kind of bet?”

Camille’s eyes gleamed with excitement. “Simple. Since you claim you can buy clothes, let’s see who can spend the most money today. Whoever spends more money wins. If you lose, you have to kneel down and apologize for wasting our time. But if by some miracle you win, though we both know that’s impossible, we’ll kneel down and apologize to you. How about it?”

Racheal knew Camille was setting Ethan up for humiliation. This wasn’t a fair bet; it was a trap to mock her and Ethan.

But Ethan didn’t even bother. “Alright,” he said.

His calm response made everyone freeze for a moment before Camille burst into laughter. Even Adrian couldn’t believe his ears.

“Did he actually agree?” Adrian nudged Camille, his face full of disbelief. “He must be out of his mind.”

Camille grinned. “Perfect. Since you agreed, don’t back out later, Ethan. I don’t want to hear your silly excuses.”

Camille turned to the boutique staff and waved her hand. “Bring me the most expensive designer dresses, Chanel bags, jewelry, shoes, everything. I don’t want to see anything below ten thousand dollars.”

The store manager immediately obeyed, bringing out racks of luxurious dresses, shimmering jewelry, and limited-edition handbags.

Adrian smirked and took out his black credit card, spinning it between his fingers. “Just put it all on my tab.”

Camille walked over to a mirror, admiring herself as she tried on an elegant dress. “Ethan, how about you? Are you going to pick something? Or are you realizing how stupid you were to agree to this?”

Racheal felt suffocated, she wanted to drag Ethan out of the store before things got worse, but his next words made her freeze.

“Give me everything in the store,” Ethan said flatly.

The entire boutique went silent.

Camille stopped adjusting her dress and turned around slowly. “What did you just say?”

Ethan didn’t even blink. “I said, give me everything in the store. Every single item, including the total sale worth of this boutique.”

The store manager was stunned. The employees exchanged nervous glances, unsure whether to take him seriously or not.

At this point, Racheal had had enough, she couldn't believe her ears and she thought Ethan was bluffing. So she shamefully walked out of the boutique to avoid losing face in front of everyone.

Adrian scowled at Ethan. “You think this is a joke?”

Ethan met his gaze and spoke calmly. “No. I’m dead serious. Every single item in this boutique, I want it all. Add it up and tell me the Cole.”

The manager hesitated but eventually nodded. “Alright. If you’re serious, I’ll get the total Cole for you.”

The staff quickly began scanning every item in the boutique. The numbers on the screen kept rising higher and higher.

Camille leaned closer to Adrian. “He’s bluffing. He’s just trying to buy time so he can back out without losing face. Just wait.”

But as the final total appeared on the screen, everyone’s expressions changed.

“$876.5 million,” the manager announced, his voice trembling.

Adrian’s smirk disappeared. “$876.5 million?!” His voice cracked.

Camille felt frightened, she had only spent around $50,000 so far. However, it was nothing compared to $876.5 million.

But it was still impossible. How could Ethan, a broke man, afford that much?

Ethan turned to Adrian, his expression completely unfazed as he stated. “Your turn. Can you beat that?”

Adrian’s face went pale. He quickly reached for his phone and opened his bank app. His hands were shaking as he typed.

Camille leaned over his shoulder, her voice urgent. “Just transfer more money. We can’t lose to him!”

Adrian’s face turned from pale to ashen. “I can’t.” His voice was barely a whisper.

Camille’s eyes widened. “What do you mean you can’t? You’re a multimillionaire!”

Adrian’s hands were sweating. “I;I just checked. We only have $5.2 million available. The rest is tied up in investments.”

Camille felt like she was going to faint.

Ethan let out a small chuckle. “So? Do you still want to continue this bet?”

Adrian’s breathing was heavy. “Bastard you swindled us!”

Ethan raised an eyebrow. “How? I didn’t force you to agree to this bet. I simply played along.”

Camille clenched her fists. “There’s no way you have that kind of money! You’re lying!”

Ethan pulled out one of his platinum cards and handed it to the manager. “Go ahead. Swipe it.”

The manager hesitated, but after confirming the transaction, his face went pale with shock.

“The payment… has been approved,” he stammered and bowed to Ethan. “Sir you are officially the new owner of Royal Prestige Boutique.”

Silence filled the boutique.

Camille felt her legs go weak. She had wanted to humiliate Ethan, but now, she was the one standing in disgrace.

Adrian looked like he was about to pass out.

Ethan took a step forward, his gaze cold. “Since I won, I assume you know what to do now?”

Camille’s face burned with shame. She grabbed Adrian’s arm and hissed, “Let’s go!”

As they turned to leave, Ethan’s voice stopped them. “Aren’t you forgetting something?”

Adrian’s entire body shook. His dignity was shattered, but he had no choice. He went on his knees, lowered his head, and apologized. “I;I’m sorry.”

Camille clenched her teeth but followed. “I’m sorry.”

Ethan didn’t even acknowledge their apologies. They weren’t worth his time.

As the humiliated couple rushed out of the boutique, Camille hissed under her breath, “I can’t believe you let that happen, Adrian! You embarrassed me in front of everyone!”

Adrian wiped the sweat off his forehead. “How was I supposed to know he had that kind of money?!”

However, Racheal had already fled the boutique and didn't witness the scene. The man she had thought was nothing had just made Camille and Adrian look like fools in front of everyone.

Ethan didn’t have to say a word. With just a subtle signal, the head doctor immediately understood. By the way, this was his family’s hospital, and as someone who had worked there for years, the doctor recognized Ethan at first glance. He knew better than to ask unnecessary questions or show any sign of disrespect. Offending the heir to the Cole family was the same as throwing away his career and future. With that understanding, the doctor quickly adjusted his behavior. He straightened his posture, his tone becoming much more respectful as he addressed Clara and her people. “There’s no need to worry anymore. The hospital will proceed with the treatment immediately.” The doctor said and left to begin the treatment. Clara and the others were stunned. Even Vincent’s face contorted. Why would the hospital suddenly change its mind? Did this mean Ethan was actually powerful and influential? But that was impossible… right? Vincent, unwilling to acknowledge the truth, quickly took the c

A tall handsome man stepped inside. His dark, neatly styled hair and the confident air around him made the people nearby steal glances. His suit was expensive, perfectly tailored to fit his broad shoulders and trim waist, and his expression carried an arrogance that made it clear he was used to being admired. It was Vincent Cross, the supposed young master of the Cross family. He had once been the man Clara was expected to marry before she had ended up with Ethan instead. Now, seeing her standing there, her face pale with worry, he smirked slightly. Clara felt her stomach tighten when she saw him. Right now, she had no time to think about the past. Her mother, Margaret, was fighting for her life in the ICU, and they were out of options. If Vincent was here and willing to help, then she had to put her pride aside. Elena, who had been anxiously pacing back and forth, immediately rushed toward him, her expression shifting from desperation to forced relief. “Vincent! It’s you! Oh, tha

Ethan stepped out of the Royal Prestige Boutique. He had expected Racheal to be furious with him, but that didn’t stop him from following after her. Racheal was walking briskly toward the parking lot, her heels were clicking sharply against the pavement, and her shoulders were tense with barely contained anger. Ethan quickened his pace, closing the distance between them, finally reaching out and grabbing her wrist gently. “Clara, wait,” Ethan said. “Just listen to me for a second.” Racheal yanked her hand away as if his touch burned her. She spun around, her eyes blazing with rage. “Listen to you?” Racheal spat, her tone dripping with disdain. “Ethan, do you even realize what you’ve done? You disgraced me in front of Camille and her husband! Do you think I’ll ever be able to show my face in front of them again?” Ethan’s brows furrowed slightly. “Disgraced you?” he repeated, his voice carrying a hint of disbelief. “Racheal, I;” “Listen!” Racheal interrupted, throwing up her hand

Ethan transferred some cash to an ordinary bank card, so as not to draw attention to himself or reveal his true identity. He wanted to remain undercover for a while. He had spent years enduring humiliation and being treated as if he was nothing but a burden in the hands of his in-laws. But all of that was about to change when he finally revealed his identity. He could already picture it in his mind, the shock and the regret. Especially Racheal. She had always seen him as nothing more than a failure, someone who could never stand at the same level as her. But what would she say when she realized that the man she had been looking down on all these years was the one who held the power to save her family from complete ruin? Ethan felt a surge of satisfaction just thinking about it. Straightening up, he pushed the bank door open and stepped out. He needed new clothes. Ethan pushed open the glass doors of Crystal Bank, the bright lights inside were blinding compared to the street outside, and everything around him screamed wealth and power. The floors gleamed like polished mirrors, reflecting the towering marble columns and gold-plated decorations. The air smelled like fresh leather and expensive perfume, making Ethan feel even more out of place. His worn-out clothes were stained with dirt from his fall, and his scuffed shoes squeaked against the floor. Around him, men in expensive suits and women dripping in designer jewelry moved about with cold faces, each one of them looking like they belonged there;unlike him. Ethan barely made it two steps inside when a loud voice rang out from the side. “Hey! You;stop right there!” A thick-bodied security guard with a buzz cut stomped toward him, and his narrowed eyes scanned Ethan from head to toe, a sneer curling on his lips. “What do you think you’re doing here?
