"Not really. He just moved into my neighborhood. How dare he steal the woman I had my eyes on." Xavier clenched his fist.

Xavier immediately sends Steve to Chloe and confesses his love to her.

Weeks flew by and Ramon noticed Chloe had stopped calling him or coming to him with her arithmetics. He wondered what was going on. He was just coming back from a lecture when he saw the student were all gathered right in front of the school garden with their phone out. Ramon feeling a little tired wanted to go back home but then he heard that Xavier was proposing to Chloe.

"Chloe? Is that my Chloe?" The word slipped out of his mouth and a student smiled past him. " I think your Chloe is going to be Xavier's soon." He made jest of him.

Ramon pushed through the crowd and saw Chloe smiling before Xavier. " Yes, I will be your girlfriend." She said with a smile and Xavier kissed her.

"Chloe? How could you? Have you been lying to me all this while? What we shared. Was that all a lie?" Ramon looked at her.

"You? You dare to take what is mine." Ramon looked at Xavier and many of the students wondered where the two had known each other. "I guess you don't know your place yet. You ain't even a citizen, you are a beggar and you deserve to be treated as one." Xavier lashed out at Ramon.

Getting angry, Ramon was about to charge at Xavier but Mark held him back. Ramon was too strong for him, he got out forcefully from his grip with his earpiece and radio cassette falling to the ground. Ramon charged at Xavier but it was as if Xavier anticipated his moves. He dodged his blows and kicked his foot.

He held up his hand and forcefully stepped hand on his back. Everyone heard a loud noise as Ramon's spinal cord broke. He let out a cry of agony. With tears running down his cheeks. " You should have known your place beggar," Xavier said with a smirk walking away with Chloe. Just as Ramon lay on the green grass his phone beeped.

Ramon looked at the blurry figure coming towards him and back at the phone. He knew he had nothing to lose. He slowly pressed the screen and his phone went blank.

Mark heard what happened and he was fast rushing towards where Ramon was. " I can't lift myself." Ramon looked up at Mark with a teary face. Mark looked around to see if he could find someone to help him but he couldn't. "Am I a cripple?" Ramon asked seeing the dream he had envisioned for himself slipping away from him.

"I don't think you are going to become a cripple, Ramon. You are just in shock from the bearing think." Mark tried to comfort him. He knew he was now a cripple judging from the body weight but he couldn't bear to tell him he was a cripple.

Mark quickly made some calls and Ramon saw a few men walking towards them. Ramon was quickly carried and rushed to the hospital. Many of the students laughed seeing Ramon getting what he deserved. " How can a mere student come here and behave like he owns the entire body of the school? He even wanted to date Chloe. Does he know she is out of his league?" Desire said with a chuckle and Chloe patted her on the back.

"Every man wants a good thing remember? But I was beginning to grow fond of him. He was only cold but had an electrifying aura when I was around him. It is only a pity he was born poor." Chloe chuckled

"Don't you think what Xavier did to him was a bit much? I mean, he had you and still went ahead to cripple the poor boy." Violet looked at her friend and they all snarled at her.

"If you want the cripple boy you can always go for him." Desire said with a smirk and they walked away from her. Violet who had earlier had her eyes on Ramon felt pity for him. She would have warned him about Chloe but she was not a king. She was a chief and speaking ill about Chloe would surely bring her punishment.

The news of Ramon becoming a cripple spread through the entire university ground. They all tweet about Ramon being a loser. Mark who was a friend of Ramon wasn't picked on because he was also a king and his family were rich and influential.

"You have better stop hanging around that loser anymore. He is now a cripple and I am sure he can't even buy his wheelchair." Stiles made fun of Ramon

"Will you shut the fuck up! " Zack snapped at his best friend. "Being in love with Chloe, is that a bad thing?"
