Harry scrambled backward, falling hard onto the gravel as the train thundered past, the gust of wind nearly knocking him over. His heart pounded against his side.

He looked at the cyan screen, where it still glowed in the darkness.

Five thousand dollars, ten times what he'd spent to buy Alicia's handbag.

[You have received 1 lottery ticket!]

[Do you want to draw?]

[YES][NO]

Harry was a guy that had never experienced any luck in life and he was just on the verge of ending it all just a couple minutes ago.

He was contemplating whether this was a dream or his mind had finally broken as there was no explanation for the Cyan Screen that popped up as he clicked the [YES] button.

[Congratulations! You have drawn Charisma Boost!]

[Charisma Boost: With this skill there's nothing the user can't charm his way out of or into! The universe has blessed you with charisma!]

"Hahaha! I must have lost my marbles…!" Harry muttered to himself as he went back to stand on the tracks, just then his phone soon rang out to show that he had a notification.

And to his surprise, he looked at the cracked screen of his phone and saw $5,000 sitting in his account and his jaw dropped.

"THIS IS FUCKING REAL!!!" Harry screamed at the top of his lungs and this pushed him away from the tracks, Harry immediately started moving away from the train tracks.

"Jesus fucking Christ! I want to live!" Harry shouted as he stared at his phone, which was hanging for dear life, for a minute.

He still couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing, this was a lot more than what was in his account previously. Which was basically nothing

"Damn it, I'm going to be rich!" Harry shouted at the top of his lungs and quickly recalled that people could hear him and he immediately composed himself.

There was one thing he took note of, the requirement for such a thing to come to pass in the first place was spending money on beautiful women.

That was way too easy but Harry noticed that it was already very late tonight and crime was high in the train tracks.

Harry didn't waste time and headed back to his apartment, his room was a mess but this was the least of his problems.

He jumped on his bed and instantly scrolled through his phone to see which other girls he had saved there but the reality of this alone dawned on him.

"Damn… I really don't have any other girl but that bitch Alicia…" Harry muttered to himself but there was no use feeling sorry for himself.

He had to take care of business first and that was paying his rent like he should have done instead of buying an expensive handbag for a slut.

After that, what he needed to do next was to find the next beautiful girl to spend money on the next day.

Harry went from almost ending his life to having renewed hope for a potential future.

The night came to an end and Harry was unemployed, and had no scholarship but who needed a job or a scholarship when life had given him a new lease?

Harry didn't hesitate, he transferred $2,000 to Brandon because he had backed up rent so why not clear everything at once to start on a clean slate?

It wasn't even up to a minute he sent the money but someone was already knocking on his door.

"Harry! Harry!" The voice called out, this was no doubt the voice of his friend/landlord.

Harry hurried to the door to see what prompted such a reaction and the moment the door opened, Brandon was out of breath.

It was clear he hurriedly came up here the moment he received the money.

"Did you sell your ass to a lot of men last night!?" Brandon questioned, shaking Harry to see if he was still in there because there was no way he could cough up that amount from thin air.

"Hahaha! Yes, I sold it to just one man who paid me handsomely for it…"Harry said, pausing dramatically.

"But there's a catch, anyone that touches the money must give him some ass or he will start to appear in your …" Harry said, expecting Brandon to panic.

Brandon just stared at Harry before letting out a loud laugh and turned around.

"I will touch this money, spend it however the hell I want and nothing will happen. Take care, buddy. Protect yourself in the streets, whore" Brandon said before leaving the house.

He knew this was an obvious joke but this only showed the relationship between both men. Harry and Brandon have been super close ever since he helped him do an accurate tax filling a year. Brandon had a convenient store that was barely making money and a wife and daughter to feed.

Harry didn't know what to do for the rest of the day as he was now unemployed and there were no classes today but he couldn't stop thinking about Alicia's betrayal. The fact that he was so blind to the truth only broke his heart further.

"Alicia, I am going to get you back for this. You are going to regret what you did to me…" He muttered under his breath, realizing he might have the power to get his revenge on her.

Harry smiled to himself, I have to make more money to get to her. Money was the main ingredient he needed to truly fuck her over.

He put on the nicest clothes he had but there was nothing fancy about his clothes seeing as he got them from the thrift store with his sense of fashion being anything but impressive. Looking at his clothes, he wondered how he didn't figure out that Alicia wasn't into him. Come on, how can a guy who wears these rags actually think they had a shot with Alicia Morgan?

Harry noticed there was no money coming back to him upon paying for his rent so this thing only registered when he spent money on women or at least that was the information he managed to get from it.

Harry stepped out but there was a spring in his steps as he had something to look forward to, this was Crestview city, the university was crawling with some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Maybe, just maybe he would bag himself a top model but there was one thing he was sure about. He could only go up from here.

Harry knew he had to be careful with the remaining $3000 in his possession because the condition for multiplying was spending it on pretty ladies.

He looked around, desperately trying to find a pretty woman but the busy campus only gave him seconds to approach them with everyone always in a hurry to get to class or something.

Harry knew his best bet would be to visit a store and offer to pay for any pretty lady's goods.

But the store couldn't be expensive, how embarrassing would it be if he offered to pay for something only to find out he couldn't afford it?

Harry looked over his shoulder and luckily, there was an Apple store located in the university and what better place to blow money than Apple devices? And come to think of it, he needed a new phone. His current one has a cracked screen and it is very old.

The moment Harry took a step into the store, he was hit with the fresh air that reminded him the earth wasn't made up of just heat.

But a lady slowly approached him with a wild smile on her face, Harry could recognize that smile anywhere, it was the smile sales people wore right before trying to get you to buy a product.

"Welcome sir, how may I help you?" A lady with blue eyes said.

Harry found her mildly attractive as she was a bespectacled lady with somewhat of a slender build.

"I would like to buy a phone and I want to pay for it in full…" Harry pointed out and this was surprising as most people in this university area paid in installments. There were mostly students and professors around, and this made her suspicious.

"What is up with this guy?" She thought to herself, this lady was in her early twenties, she was exactly 20 years old but Harry didn't give fuck about this information.

All that mattered to him at that moment was getting his money to increase 10× as his eyes glanced around the store to see if there was anyone worthy of spending his money on.

However, his eyes met an almost empty store with employees all wearing an artificial smile.

Harry sighed as he looked at the girl's name-tag before him.

"You're Melissa… So Melissa, how would you like an IPhone?" Harry asked right away, prompting Melissa to raise a suspicious brow.

"Um… Sir, are you sure about that?" Melissa was taken back by this, she had an old Apple device that was in need of replacing but it was still in optimal condition so she never got around to getting a new one. It wasn't like a phone was her top priority.

"I am absolutely certain! Let's get you the IPhone 17 Pro Max with a little phone insurance to sweeten the deal." Harry said in an upbeat tone.

"Are you one of those social media influencers?" Melissa questioned, looking around frantically for a camera but her eyes saw nothing.

The moment her eyes settled on Harry, he was already paying for the phones. Both his and hers. Melissa was lost for words but she wasn't going to turn down this act of kindness.

[Ding!]

[Spent $1,200. 10X Critical Hit. Earned $12,000! The money has been transferred to your account!]

Harry smiled, realising he could get more he looked at her. “Would you like the MacBook Pro, and AirPods as well?”

Melissa giggled still thinking this is some weird trick. Harry immediately paid for the new items that totalled $1750.

  • Chapter 454. The Reunion

The room Harry had arranged was small and unremarkable by design, a quiet corner suite with soft chairs and warm lighting, nothing about it meant to impress or overwhelm. Ricardo arrived first, pacing slightly near the window, dressed more simply than Harry had ever seen him, no armor of expensive tailoring or careful presentation, just a man waiting to meet his daughter.Osaka arrived a few minutes later, quiet and tense, positioning himself near the far wall, close enough to be present, far enough to give the moment room to belong to the two people it actually belonged to.Lily arrived last. She paused in the doorway for a long moment, taking in the room, taking in the man standing near the window who went suddenly, completely still the second he saw her.Ricardo didn't move first. Harry watched him hold himself back, watched every instinct in the man visibly strain against itself, the urge to close the distance, to pull her into an embrace seventeen years in the making, warring aga

  • Chapter 453. Bringing Her Home

Harry spent most of the next two days on the phone, arranging details with a level of care he hadn't applied to anything in longer than he could remember. A private room at a quiet hotel, nothing flashy, nothing that would draw attention. Security tight enough to keep everyone safe, discreet enough that it wouldn't feel like walking into an armed camp. A back entrance, a scheduled arrival time, contingencies for a dozen small things that could go wrong. It struck him, somewhere in the middle of confirming the third security detail, how strange it was to be applying this exact skill set to something that actually mattered. He'd spent so much of his early life planning dates and gestures with this same meticulous attention, choosing restaurants, timing surprises, orchestrating moments meant to impress. Now he was orchestrating a reunion between a grieving father and the daughter he'd believed dead for seventeen years, and the stakes had never once felt more real.He went to see Ricardo

  • Chapter 452. The Cost of a Bluff

Harry arrived the following afternoon at Osaka's request, meeting the two of them at the same small café, and found the air between Lily and Osaka carrying a different tension than the warm, careful opening he'd expected from Osaka's earlier message. Lily's eyes found him the moment he walked in, and there was something sharp in them that hadn't been there during their last conversation. "You told him my father already knew," she said, before Harry had even fully sat down. "Weeks ago. Before I had any idea any of this existed." Harry felt the accusation land exactly where it deserved to, and didn't try to soften his way around it. "That's true." "Explain it to me. All of it." He told her plainly, no dressing it up, no framing it in a way that might make it sound better than it actually was. He told her about the tribunal, about being cornered, about needing something, anything, to shift the room's attention away from an accusation that would have ended very badly for him. He told

  • Chapter 451. Osaka and Lily

Osaka had flown into more airports than he could count over the years, for business, for negotiations, for the quiet, dangerous work his family had trained him into since he was young enough that he barely remembered a version of himself that hadn't known how to disappear into a crowd. He didn't remember any of those landings feeling like this one. His hands shook slightly as he collected his bag from the carousel, a small enough tremor that he doubted anyone around him noticed, but he noticed, and the noticing unsettled him more than the shaking itself. Seventeen years of careful control, and here he was, undone by nothing more than the prospect of a conversation. She had chosen a small café on the edge of the town where she lived, public enough to feel safe, quiet enough for a real conversation. Her choice, all of it. Osaka had learned, through Harry's careful updates, to simply accept that this entire process belonged to her now, every term, every boundary, and something in him r

  • Chapter 450. What She Actually Wants

The cottage looked different in daylight, less like a stranger's guarded threshold and more like an ordinary home with flowers along the path and a bicycle leaned against the wall, catching the afternoon sun. She opened the door before Harry had even finished knocking this time, no chain across the gap, and stepped back to let him in without a word."I looked into some of what you told me," she said, once they were both seated in her small kitchen, a pot of tea between them that neither of them had touched yet. "There's a man. A researcher who specializes in cases like this, missing children, false identities, that sort of thing. I found him online and paid for a consultation. I didn't tell him your name, or Ricardo's, just the shape of what you described. He said it wasn't impossible. Said it happens more often than people think, children moved and hidden to protect them from something dangerous.""You didn't have to do that on your own," Harry said."I wasn't going to just take a st

  • Chapter 449. The Waiting

Harry checked his phone for what felt like the hundredth time that morning, the screen showing nothing but the same notifications he'd already read, and set it face down on his desk with more force than the gesture actually required. Five days since England. Five days since he'd stood on that quiet path and watched a stranger's door close slowly between them, and he still hadn't heard a single word back. He'd thought, more than once over those five days, about booking another flight. About showing up again, this time with more patience, more of Osaka's careful documentation, whatever it might take to move things along faster than her own timeline apparently wanted to move. Each time the thought surfaced, he made himself set it back down. He knew what it would mean if he did that. He knew, more clearly than he might have known it a few months ago, that showing up unannounced a second time, before she'd asked him to, would tell her something ugly about how much her own pace actually
