CHAPTER 9: Crinton

Days passed by as David opened his eyes to see his mother sleeping beside his bed.

'what happened' he thought for awhile before his past memories came rushing in as a sudden headache took place making him grin in pain 'i see my soul must have slept and this body released its energy, no wonder I feel so weak'.

he looked around then at his mother "mama" he slightly touched her hand as he saw the worried expression on her face.

"mhm" Carla opened her eyes as she rushed a hug on David kissing his him all around "thank goodness you are alright".

"mhm, mama I'm fine" David nodded as he looked at the door "where's papa".

Carla smiled as warm tears rolled down her cheek "he's out on a mission for a while" she caressed his hair as she greatly hid her sadness but the tears failed to comply.

"mama why are you crying" David took the blanket using the tip to clean her tears as he too felt sad and worried of course David knew what that something must have happened but what exactly.

"welcome back David" a young beautiful lady walks in with a tray and a cup on top as she sits on the bed smiling.

"this is your great aunt lily Wayne she's been taking care of you" Carla explained as she cleaned up her tears.

"mhm I'm your cool and amazing great aunt lily Wayne" she gave a playful smile as she pinches David's cute cheeks.

"h-hello great aunt lily" David managed to reply with his cheeks been played with.

"awww so cute, now take this cup of lemon tea and drink it slowly so you can regain your strength" lily patted David as she stood up signalling Carla to come outside the room with her.

David heightened his senses as his ear twitched hearing sounds from long distances "uh I guess I can do that as well" suddenly a high pitched noise rang in his ear causing a painful sensation as he managed to focus his senses on the door.

"I know you are deeply worried about Jacob, everyone is worried about the others too but I want you to be strong in front of your son, he might get worried if you are always gloomy" lily said as she smiled

"i-i know I'm gonna be strong for my son thank you aunt lily" Carla nodded forcing a smile.

"and you should know by now that the Wayne's aren't put down easily so cheer up and wait for your husband" lily too was slightly worried but she knew what she said were facts.

"yes I know" Carla smiled as she seemed to remember Jacob when he would be stubborn and unyielding.

"okay I will be going now bring the lil pumpkin down later on" lily bounced as she walked through the hall way.

Carla breathed in as she walked into David's room with a warm smile"hey how are you feeling now" she asked sitting beside him.

David smiled revealing his whitish teeth as he put down an empty cup "I feel so much stronger and faster" he already knew his father and some Wayne's are missing already.

"aww look at my cute little flower, I thought aunt lily told you to take the tea slowly" she hugged him while patting his head.

"it was delicious" David said as a maid walked in staring at the one year old in surprise wondering if he was really a year old.

"my lady breakfast is ready" the maid bowed slightly as she walked in "I also need to bath the young master".

Carla nodded as she gave David a kiss on his head "okay be careful with him he just woke up" Carla said as she walked outside.

"yes my lady" the maid bowed again as she turned to David staring at him in a confusing expression.

"what" David asked as he stared back at the maid who blinked confusedly.

'this isn't a child, how does he have such awareness at a young age' she thought deeply trying to get a reasonable explanation.

"don't worry about taking care of him, that is my duty" Aisha said walking into the room as she looked plainly at the other maid.

"y-yes I was only told to look after lord David by the head maid" the maid bowed slightly.

"you can leave now as lord David is my duty" Aisha said in an almost strict tone as the other maid left the room.

"sorry for the unnecessary squabble young master" aisha said as she moved to carry David who had a smirk on his face.

"no worries I didn't want that maid to touch this handsome lord in the first place" David said as he carried into the bathroom.

"you are really born with such great intelligence and charm young master" Aisha putted him down as she undressed him carrying him inside a large tub filled with warm crystal clear water.

"I know I'm a unique and handsome Wayne" Aisha could only chuckle at his remark.

the maid went out of the room in confusion as a maid with a long hair stops her and asked if she was okay.

"don't you think lord David is ..... I don't know maybe older than he looks" she said as she looked around.

"well I haven't been able to take care of him or been near him so I don't know" the maid with the long hair replied.

"that is how lord David was born as he will be a great and powerful Wayne when he grows older" Margaret suddenly appears as she passed the two maids.

"we didn't mean to speak rudely behind lord David's back" the long haired maid quickly said as she bowed slightly.

"becareful what you say about lord David next time " Margaret replied as she walked up the stairs.

"she's really an upper class maid" the other maid whispered to the long haired maid.

"I have other duties to attend to" the long haired maid hurried off leaving the other.

David been carried by Aisha got to the diner as he looked charmingly cute with his hair brushed backwards.

"you look well David" James said as he appeared behind aisha carrying david on his shoulder as he walked to his chair.

Aisha bowed as she left the dinning hall while Carla, and Martha greeted James while the twins just said 'good morning great uncle james'.

while lilly sneered at him

they ate in silent as both marthar and Carla ate forcefully, lilly saw this and decided to cheer them all on.

"who wants to know why James isn't married yet even though he's 500 years old" Martha and Carla looked at James then lilly.

"he's been chasing a single woman who is not interested in him for the past 400 hundred years " lilly looked at James mockingly.

"you know Im already married to her, that's you're called the boring queen" James said with a mocking expression.

Martha and Carla chuckled as the dinning hall lightened up.

"that reminds me Elden and Eden since you are both 10 you will be going to crinton academy how does that sound" James smirked.

"yes!" both twins replied as they remembered they haven't asked their mother yet "mum".

"alright fine you can go" Martha smiled as she remembered they weren't on erandile anymore and this was a world she had never been to as she remembered what happened a few days ago.

"elviandom crinton" James yelled as the whole mansion disappeared from erandile appearing in a beautiful world where the sky moved and the clouds were almost to the ground and the grass were soft and light greened.

"where are we, what happened, why are we here" Carla asked in confusion as both lily and Martha looked at James in confused.

a octagon crystal shaped ball appears in the center of the mansion showing erandile as it became covered in darkness.

Carla covered her mouth as her tears dropped Martha too did the same but she fell on her knees.

suddenly the crystal cracked as it broke into countless pieces as James frowned greatly.

"what's happening " lilly asked worriedly as her hands shook.

"all connections as been severed from erandile, no one can go back or come out ever and it seems the dark creatures have successfully taken over" James replied still looking at the broken crystal.

"no what about Jacob please we have to help him" Carla pleaded as more tears dripped down her face.

"I don't think we need to worry about them, I'm sure they are fine because there connection too was cut off from erandile so they must have escaped to a random world" James finally looked at Carla and Martha as he looked a bit worried.

"thank goodness" lily said as she flopped down sighing in great relief.

Current time

"also David is going to begin his early training when he's 5 and will also go to crinton academy when he's 10" James patted David's head as he tried feeding him some mashed up rice.

Carla nodded as she smiled sweetly.

'what I'm what now, for the love of... just let me have a peaceful reincarnated life I'm only gonna be five' David stared at James as a tear dropped from his left eye.
