Forbidden power

{1st POV, Ethan}

It didn't take long for the orb to glow again with a mixture of green and blue indicating Alizée indeed inherited her father's storm element, blue is the colour of lightning and green is the colour of the wind elements.

"It seems you indeed, have the storm element!"

Tiamat exclaimed, with a satisfied smile. 

Alizée was also happy, what she heard from Tiamat made her think the storm element is very powerful and it is true for the most part.

"Now it is your turn, Ethan."

Tiamat shifts her gaze in my direction and spoke. I simply gave her a nod and walked up to the orb placing my hand over it I released a small amount of mana. The orb took more time to process as it has to work more to analyse a total of three different types of extremely rare elements.

A full minute passed where I was entertained by an unusual Tiamat, who was anxious and excited at the same time. The orb finally shined with colours that made her ecstatic and horrified.  

"Impossible..!"

A scream filled with disbelief and fear was the only reaction I got from her...

{3rd POV, unknown}

In a place with nothing but total darkness, a peerless woman could be discovered sitting on virtually nothing as the whole place is very bizarre.

Everything here is black but you can still observe everything with your eyes like there is indeed light, when there is none.

The woman's appearance can only be described as heavenly, with the same raven black hair matching the theme of this dark place. Her eyes were similarly inky black and her skin was pale white. She is wearing a pure black long off-shoulder dress with a deep cleavage displaying marvellous hefty and plump balls of meat. Her dress also has a long cut at the right side leaving her sexy and long leg out in the open.

The mysterious woman was slumping around with a face full of boredom and indifference. Abruptly the whole dark world trembled slightly as if expressing Its excitement. The unknown woman's mood also changed from indifferent to surprise.

"No, how can it be? That slut will not let something like this emerge." 

She mumbled to herself, something about how it is not possible and someone will not let it happen.

"No. It is possible but the person will have..." After saying this. It was as if she achieved a grand revelation and she began to crackle in mad glee. Completely distinct from the indifferent persona she was displaying a moment ago.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Something like this truly happened. Ha-ha-ha!! It seems my time to rise is near..ha-ha-ha!!"

{3rd POV, unknown}

In a mysterious, filled by only the eternal white sky and kaleidoscope lights dazzling the eye reminded the onlooker that this was no ordinary world.

Here one can see colours one didn't even know existed, shapes one couldn't name, beauty beyond all men could fathom.

A huge tower is standing in this extraordinary place. The tower's appearance is very bizarre, one side is made of jade white while the other side is made of jet black. On the topmost floor of the tower, a woman with unique looks can be seen sitting on a throne. Her looks are the same as the tower, black and white hair, her left eye is completely black while her right eye is completely white. Unfortunately, her curvy body is not black and white instead it is fair and smooth.

Suddenly, her neural expression changed to panic as she vanished in thin air and appeared on the balcony, of the giant tower. She looked up at the sky seemingly staring at nothing but the sky. But if you looked closely they can make out her heterochromatic eyes are glowing brightly.

"How? Why can he have that power? Didn't I pay a heavy price to not let anyone awaken this power ever again?"

She whispered in confusion. 

Soon another extremely beautiful woman with long pink hair appeared behind the strange-looking woman with a grave expression. 

"How can someone with that power be born under your familiar?"

The woman with dual coloured hair asked the pink-haired woman without turning around. Much to her disappointment the other woman just shook her head and replied.

"I don't know mother, he was perfectly normal. I couldn't see anything wrong with his destiny."

She spoke while making an upset expression, she doesn't like it when something went out of her control.

The woman with dual coloured hair didn't answer back. Still, keeping her eyes towards the sky. 

A few moments went by while both the women kept silent as the twilight haired woman kept her eyes focused on the sky. 

"What you saw was wrong..."

The twilight haired woman spoke in a gloomy tone.

The pink-haired woman made an astonished face and strongly protested.

"How can that be possible? He is just a child?"

"Honestly, even I can't foresee his fate. It's as if he doesn't have a divine destiny."

The twilight woman explained with a sigh.

This time the pink-haired woman is very surprised, she didn't know what to say. Someone who doesn't have a divine destiny, a joke even she or her mother can who are at the pinnacle power can't escape the clutches of divine destiny. How can she believe it?

"It is possible, only two things can explain this occurrence...

The first option is not plausible, there is only one possibility left..he is fateless."

The twilight woman explained with a heavy tone. Making the pink-haired woman frown. Her mother never showed such worry even when facing that mad woman.

"What is a fateless?"

She asked the twilight haired woman. As see never heard her mother talk about such matters.

"A fateless person is someone, the divine path has no control over. They are more dangerous at the same time more talented than singularities. A fateless person has thorough control over his own future, he can become an emperor, a demon or...even a god, with enough time and hard work."

She slowly explained, to the pink-haired woman.

"So, ...should I kill him? He also has that power, if by chance he..."

The pink-haired woman asked. Yet, the woman she referred to as mother shook her head in disagreement.

"No, let him be for now. She must have sensed him as well, and she will probably try to escape the seal if we can make him join our side, he will be a huge asset."

She denied her suggestion. The pink hair woman listed to her and nods her head in consent.

{1st POV, Ethan}

Oblivious to all the commotion caused by his test results Ethan gazed at Tiamat in confusion.

'Why is she freaking out like this?'

I can't understand what happened with Tiamat after she looked at the orbs glowing with grey, red and silver showing my affinities with chaos, destruction and space. She should be happy that I have so many affinities and such powerful ones at that.

"What happened grandma?"

I couldn't help but ask her out of curiosity.

She looked at me deeply as if contemplating, if she should tell me something or not. I honestly can't understand why she is showing such worry, nothing like this happened in the game.

Just as she was about to speak, her eyes glowed unusually for a few seconds. After that, she bit her lips while showing a mixture of relief and frustration at the same time.

However, she soon composed herself and released a sigh.

"You can leave now, I have private matters to discuss with Ethan."

She looked at Alizée and ordered her to leave.

Which Alizée complied with a silent nod, she began to walk out of the room.

Now as only the two of us are present in the room, she glanced at me with a complicated face and starts to speak.

"Listen, Ethan, I'm very happy as you are more talented than me and your father. You have three extremely strong elements.

You have affinities with chaos, space and destruction elements. The grey one is chaos, the sliver one is space and the red one is the element of destruction."

'This much I know but why are you making this look like a huge mess.' I said in my mind. As I kept a curious face while listening to her explanation.

"But there is a problem, you can't tell anyone that you can use destruction magic. Nor you should use it in front of the public at any circumstances."

'Huh? But why..? It was not like this in the game?'

Indeed destruction magic is super rare and the most powerful offensive magic, only a handful of top players were able to get their hands on it. I was one of the lucky ones. Still, I don't remember there were such restrictions.

"Why?"

This was my only question as I really can't understand why she is prohibiting me from using destruction magic.

"I-I can't tell you..yet, just know you absolutely can't use that magic at any cost, if by chance you use it don't leave loose ends."

Now she won't even tell me the reason, she even said to kill anyone if they know about it. Now I'm truly curious, why go to such lengths to hide this fact it must not be simple.

(System can I buy information at the shop?)

Still, let me advise you to think carefully before you buy as information is much more expensive.]

(I understand.)

Now that I know I can buy information from the system, it's not that complicated anymore I'm also not in a hurry to know such big secrets. I have got a more important matter to think about, such as growing more powerful before the story starts to move.

"Okay, I understand but can I not even tell aunts?"

I asked just to test the graveness of this matter.

"No, the fewer people know the better. So, don't tell them."

She shook her head and stopped me from telling them. It seems more serious than I thought as she never hides anything from my aunts.

'Well, whatever I'll know about it eventually..'.

With that thought I let the matter rest for now. 

"Okay, I will listen to you."

I said with a sad tone with my head down. Showing a pitiful look, which made Tiamat bit her lips more hard.

Walking close to me she hugged me while talking to comforting me.

"Don't worry Ethan, trust me. When you get stronger I will certainly tell you everything."

"I believe you."

I told her and returned the hug. A while went passed away as we kept each other in our embrace. Hugging her feels marvellous, her body is soft yet firm and she has a unique smell that I don't know what it is, still, the fragrance is fantastic. 

Soon we separate, Tiamat was the first to end the hug. I did the same to not display my hidden intentions and make her wary of my touch.

"We should leave. The others are probably waiting eagerly to hear the results."

She said, I just gave her a nod to express I agree with her. So both of us stepped out of the room and went to where the others are waiting.
