However, the palm stood mid-air as if it was stuck.

“Fool” Wallace muttered coldly as he stared at her while she gnashed her teeth.

“What the hell?”

She lashed out in anger. To her, he was just a low rank Qi-condensation nobody she had spent years tormenting.

How on earth was he able to get her stuck? Could it be her imagination?

However, to Wallace, it felt like an insult to him because inside the shell of his new body, his million-year-old consciousness seemed to ignite!

Who the hell did she then think she was? A low rank foundation building disciple was no match for him!

Too pathetic!

It didn't take a while before he channeled the sluggish body through a microscopic needle of Qi and directed it into the tip of his shoulder down his arm and into the cheek of the woman he intended to strike and … CRACK!

"AHHHHHHH!"

A painful scream erupted but it wasn't from Wallace. It was from the arrogant woman who clutched her right hand to her chest.

Her fingers were bent at unnatural angles and it felt as if she had slapped a wall of steel instead of a human face.

The other girls in the backyard gasped in horror while Wallace slowly turned his head back.

His cheek didn't seem red but he looked bored. The "minor headache" from the memory fusion was more painful.

"You should be careful," Wallace said coldly. "The ground is slippery. You could have tripped.."

"You... what did you do?!" Clara hissed through gritted teeth. "You're just a trash rank servant! How dare you…”

"I did nothing," Wallace interrupted, taking a single step forward.

Despite his ragged clothes and the mud on his knees, the aura he radiated for a split second was that of an Emperor standing over a speck of dust.

The girls scrambled backward afraid that their cultivation wouldn't save them, tripping over the very waste they had told him to clear.

"The filth” Wallace reminded her, his eyes cold. "Didn't you say it needed to be cleared?”

However, they said nothing as they looked at him in fright. Just as if it seemed as though he was about to take another step forward, a wave of ache filled his brain again when he almost stumbled.

His soul shook as though he was about to lose something important.

Was he about to lose years of cultivation? His powers?

“No…. That can't be! I can't be stuck in this body and lose my powers” He muttered in shock while the other ladies looked scared.

His actions seemed as if he wanted to lynch on them.

“Please don't hit us… “

They yelled in a wave of desperation. Yet, that didn't move him. After all, they were the least of his problems.

He needed to think and rest. After all, how would he survive if he lost his powers that took him years to acquire?

Judging by the dormitory backyard, he knew his room wasn't too far from there. Only then did he walk inside and just as he predicted, he was right because the room only had essentials that a beginner in Qi training could have.

He held his head in his palms and closed his eyes, trying to wonder what went wrong.

A moment later, he realized something… His soul had been displaced in a trashy body and there was little or no hope for his cultivation because the body’s spiritual root that connected to the heavens had withered and worse still, a powerful cultivator placed a seal on his soul masking his potential and blocking his energy flow.

He couldn't go beyond Qi condensation no matter how much he cultivated.

No wonder the boy was so useless to the extent that they all bullied him. The teachers could do nothing to help. After all, they were also tired and since they didn't want to let him go, he decided to be their errand boy to avoid trouble.

Those who were at the beginning with him were already at the Golden Core stage and some of them that were extremely good were almost at the soul formation stage.

So, no matter what Wallace did, his cultivation would also be blocked. Whatever he displayed earlier was just a fragment of his original power. Nothing more.

Still, could it be the reason for the boy's death?

That was when he realized he was in a deep mess. If he was stuck in a body like this, how would he defeat the Superior?

“I definitely can't go back to that Pavilion …” He thought, clenching his fist, remembering everything he went through.

There has to be a solution to bypass the sickness this current body is going through.

Could he use one of the four great tiers of cultivation to do that?

He wondered as he closed his eyes, searching for something better. He couldn't just go with any flow to bypass anything because in the world of cultivation, it was ranked by grades.

Yellow, the most basic level, black a bit higher, Earth, top tier technique and heaven, the highest and these grades are also subgrouped into three: Low, Middle and high-peak stages.

Wallace had mastered every technique. However, this body had a nameless technique that was far below yellow as a worst student since he was suffering from the aftermath of the curse.

If he used a middlegrade-earth tier technique, it was still not enough to warm him up for whatever he needed to do even though he carried countless techniques as a master.

That was when he realized what he truly needed. High peak technique.

That way, he would get past the effect in this body. Only then did he begin to move into the realm of internal alchemy by circulating energy.

However, before he could sink fully into concentration, a sudden splash of icy water splashed his face.

His eyes flew open.

“You fool! How dare you?”

My father would have also desired to meet you today but he travelled on a very important business to Africa”“What's his name?”“Lord Reed Bush… the owner of BR properties in this city and beyond. Look, you can't offend this man because he has powers…”What powers could he simply have if he didn't have a good character like the rest and judging from his tone, he would also seem to be like him. Wallace thought as he scoffed. At once, the man stepped further into the center of the room while everyone moved backwards because no one wanted to offend him. It was said that in the past, someone had mistakenly posted a wild joke about

“Exactly!”“If you truly don't want me here, it's okay. I have said everything that needs to be said. Surely, these ones deserved to be taught a lesson because they would definitely wait in vain since they don't know how foolish they are!“Like I said earlier, you don't have to bother”“In fact, I want them to know what it truly means to keep hoping that they will see the person they have used their hands to destroy … well, they would think they have done that to me!”With a cold smile, he turned to look at Becca. “What do you think will happen if they realize the truth?”“That is why we should tell them now with proof!”“Then, there would be no mysterious Smith again

Everyone looked at the guards in shock. Only then did they gasp because these ones were elite guards of the wealthy. That moment, a crazy thought crossed his mind. The moment he sees that Wallace has finally left, he would write an anonymous petition stating how toxic he was and how he shouldn't be seen in the environment. That way, he would finally have access to Becca and she would definitely soften his heart towards him. When he thought of that, the smile on his lips never faltered. “Surely, you received that call which is not wrong. That man is the reason for this! “Are you all really sure you want to wait for this man while daring to treat him this way?” Becca couldn't help but mutter bitterly. If she had known how toxic these guests were, she never would have invited them.Glancing at another newcomer, she realized that some of them simply didn't care. While they waited impatiently for the mysterious 'Smith', they casually went about their business, entirely indifferent to the brewing drama.“Like I said earlier, it's no longer your decision to make, Miss Winthrop. Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to handle this person properly,” the head guard said. He gave her a slight, firm push, careful not to overly offend her given her father's high standing.Wallace looked at them calmly. “If I leave now, you will all be waiting in vain.”Was that supposed to be a curse or a threat? one of the wealthy guests thought, sneering. He hated interacting with trash; people like Wa

“Find out who Laura X is!”The command cut through. On the other end of the line, there was a heavy, suffocating silence. For a long while, he didn't hear anything else. The tension stretched thin until Laura finally replied, her voice smooth and entirely unfazed. “Consider it done, sir.”Only then did she hang up, the line clicking dead. Wallace snorted, a cold smirk playing on his lips. He leaned back, continuing to watch the high-stakes event streaming on the phone until the live feed suddenly shuddered, artifacted, and got stuck.“What happened to the network coverage?” someone roared from the back of the crowded hall.“Despite the amount of money we paid for this exclusive access, I can't believe we weren't able to at least get a glimpse of the person we've been so curious about!” another guest yelled, slamming his glass on the table.Wallace, however, only smiled lightly. He took a glass of wine and slowly, deliberately sip of his drink, watching the panic ripple through the
