The silver line running through the center of the enormous doorway…

A single white flower drifted gently out of the opening.
It floated downward through the Moon’s weak gravity until it settled on the gray dust below.
Nothing else followed.
The doorway remained still.
Professor Orion frowned.
“A flower?”
Aion’s expression became unreadable.
“They’re asking.”
“Asking what?”
Professor Orion questioned.
Aion didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, he looked toward Ethan.

He pointed toward the flower.
