Chapter : 1 The Gloomy Period Of The Martial World

In 1272, the Mongols conquered the Song Dynasty and forced the Han to let their country be ruled by foreigners.

The Mongol government led by Kublai Khan officially established a country called the Greater Yuan.

Since the Song empire collapsed, the Han people began to lose confidence.

Nobles and former Song leaders chose to go into hiding to save their families.

This also happened in the martial world, the Mongol fighters who continued to flood into China rioted and challenged the Han fighters, but the Mongol fighters still held back and did not dare to interfere further in Han affairs because the Han fighters had 8 figures who were highly respected by the martial world, including the Mongol fighters.

Although the eight figures were divided into two and opposed to each other, but they had one thing in common, they hated the Mongols who had colonized the Han nation, that's why the Mongol fighters did not dare to interfere too much, because of the eight figures.

The Chinese martial world is divided into two groups.

Black and white.

The black faction is led by Su-Tay-Ok-Ji (the four evil ones) 4 warriors who are the leaders of the black faction.

While the white group is called, Su-Toa-Thian-Su (the four great Apostles of the sky) 4 figures who are believed by the white group to have the highest magic under the sky.

The two groups always fight for the top position which is held once every 10 years at the top of Mount Thian San.

The four Apostles of the martial world even though they gathered and ganged up could only injure without being able to kill Ang-Bin Moko, one of Su Tay Ok Ji's figures.

At the last meeting, a terrible incident occurred when the leader of Su-Tay-Ok-Ji was killed by a poisonous Am Gi (secret weapon) while fighting against the Su-Toa-Thian-Su warriors.

Ang-Bin Moko (Red-faced Demon), the leader of the black faction, was struck in the back by a poisoned spike and died in the arena.

The atmosphere was immediately agitated and the battle was immediately stopped, all warriors from the black and white groups searched for who threw the poisoned nail and succeeded in killing Ang-Bin Moko.

Su-Tay-Ok-Ji was actually happy with the death of Ang-Bin Moko but they did not dare to show their pleasure, because the Red-faced Demon was a figure who had more power than them.

Su-Tay-Ok-Ji felt that Ang-Bin Moko was not in line with those who liked to kill and create chaos in the martial world.

Meanwhile, the black faction was devastated and vowed to continue looking for the person who had supported their leader.

Forty days after Ang-Bin Moko's death, the red village was quiet, white flags of mourning still visible in every corner of the village.

The red village was where Ang-Bin Moko lived with his disciples and wife, not many people knew about the red village located on the banks of the Huang Ho river, because Ang-Bin-Moko never told his allies where he lived.

Dozens of black shadows moved quickly towards the village on the Huang Ho riverbank

The village was surrounded by a tall fence made of wood and decorated with white flags of mourning.

Dozens of black shadows after seeing the situation safe, they then entered the village.

Sounds of alarm and screams could be heard from inside the village when the intruders were spotted by the residents.

A middle-aged woman dressed in white with a face full of sorrow looked at a 7-year-old child in front of her.

"Mom had expected this to happen, but your father has always been stubborn and wanted to prove that he is the number 1 figure in the martial world.

"You go from here and take our family heirloom and study it, after you successfully study the book in this bag, avenge your father and family," the middle-aged woman said again while looking at her son.

"Thian Sin! After you grow up, you must wear the title Ang-Bit-Sat-Sin (Red-faced killer) eliminate everyone who has harmed our family and remember mother's last message.

"Don't believe the sweet words of those around you, for they will bring you down to the brink of destruction.

After giving advice and direction, the middle-aged woman then hugged her son, after being satisfied hugging and kissing the face of the son she loved, the mother said.

"Cu Liang! Please take my son away from here."

"Yes, Subo."

Cu Liang who was the first disciple of Ang-Bin-Moko said with a nod of his head, hearing the order of the master's wife.

"No. .... I don't want to leave here, I want to stay with mom," Thian Sin said.

Without waiting for another order after receiving a signal from the Subo, Cu Liang immediately grabbed Thian Sin's body, then carried him away through the back door.

While the intruders had begun to enter the inner room, the laughter of the assassins could be heard from the center room as they slaughtered the servants and village members who tried to resist.

The Red Village was actually not an easy village to attack, they had magicians who were feared by the martial world, but they did not know that the well from which they drew water for daily use had been poisoned with energy-weakening poison, so their inner strength disappeared and they became the victims of the intruders.

Cu Liang, while carrying Thian Sin away, continued to flick his sword left and right, trying to ward off the intruders who were growing in number.

"Wretch! Why does my inner strength seem to be rising and falling," Cu Liang thought as he parried the opponent's sword slash.

Trang!

When he saw a small boat moored at the side of the river, he immediately darted towards the boat, while being chased by the intruders.

A man in a black mask asked his men for a bow, after nocking an arrow, his hand pulled the bowstring and let go after aiming at Cu Liang's body.

Shing!

The whooshing sound of the arrow rang out, not long after the arrow hit Cu Liang's back.

Jleb!

Cu Liang could only grin in pain, but he continued to move towards the small boat.

"Uncle! Thian Sin shouted seeing fresh blood flowing from his uncle's lips.

"Son of Thian, you go! Remember the last message from Subo (master's wife) avenge your father."

Cu Liang then placed Thian Sin in the boat, then cut the rope that tied the boat and pushed the boat with all his might towards the river.

The boat rushed towards the center of the river and began to follow the current.

Thian Sin from inside the boat stared at Cu Liang, his father's loyal disciple who was surrounded by enemies, while fighting Cu Liang's eyes never left the boat that kept moving with the river current.

Slowly Cu Liang's movements weakened along with the many stab wounds and spear thrusts, finally Cu Liang's eyes closed when he couldn't see the boat that the teacher's son was riding in.

But Cu Liang's lips smiled, because the last message from Subo to save the teacher's son had succeeded, even though he had to die but his death was not in vain, Cu Liang before exhaling his last breath hoped in his heart.

"Thian Sin! Avenge us."
