Chapter 113

After arriving at his room, Jack took a shower. It had been a tiring day because of Mary and her friends. However, he was happy that Uncle Bob had finally recovered and come home from the hospital.

Jack wiped his wet hair with a towel. His eyes fell on the rest of the money Claire gave him that was placed on the table. Jack smiled remembering his best friend.

Changing habits was not an easy thing. Since Jack didn't know his true identity, Claire and Uncle Bob often helped him in difficult times. It was still warm in Jack's memory when Uncle Bob gave him all the money from the sale of the decorative table to pay for his treatment at the hospital. At that time Jack was suffering from dengue fever. He had also been living alone for quite some time after the death of his nanny, Jane Marshall.
