In the end, Aurora came to her mother's funeral even though the body had already been buried. No one except the two was in the cemetery; the villagers had returned to their previous activities.

Aurora again drowned herself in sadness, seeing the last place her mother was laid to rest. She sat listlessly with her face streaked with tears. Her delicate hands kept rubbing the gravestone with Lusy's name on it as if gently rubbing her mother's head.

In contrast to Arryn standing in front of Lusy's grave, his eyes were staring down, thinking about the psychological impact Aurora would get from his plan this time.
