Taming A Beast

Despite what it looked like, Panka behaved like a dog. The creature stuck out its tongue, dripping sticky saliva that was repulsive.

Gin took a few steps back to avoid the saliva.

"What do you mean, I am your owner? How could it be? This is the first time we've met."

Panka tilted its head to the right and the other head to the left, colliding with each other in the middle. "But you called me."

"I never called you. You were already here when I arrived."

If Gin paid attention, Panka's mouth didn't move as it should when it spoke. But its voice entered his head as if Gin could understand the language of dogs, or whatever it was.

Its voice sounded like a boy, so Gin assumed Panka was male. There was only one voice that could be heard even though Panka had two heads. The heads also showed the same expressions as the other head. Two heads, one consciousness, that was the closest conclusion.
