Chapter 4 - Exchange

Through the ring 💍 they were able to get her location.

He thought she might be in a foreign star but she was actual beneath the royal palace.

He also told his brothers about it and they gathered together.

"It won't be easy to get her out." Nathan said with a frown laced on his handsome face.

"Hmm, it might be tricky but is not impossible" Ryan said

" The Masquerade ball is in a month, maybe we could sneak her out then" Ryan suggested.

Shaking his head, Flynn spoke.

" According to how his Majesty does things, he would not give up since am not yet dead and their losses have been significant in recent months especially as we are becoming more reclusive.

He would definitely send an invitation to us three brothers"

"He would release the princess on that day because he would send her to kill me, because I have been looking for her to the knowledge of his Majesty to get my revenge.

He would send her to me on a silver platter to kill, so what we should do is to make a clone of her before that day. A clone that could not be detected as a fake but classified as the real thing especially in bodily tissues and cells. He might also want us to give him benefits such as the Nepotilian Mine."

Flynn suggestion hit the mark as that was what the Emperor was planning in a guise of exchange of letting the royal family off as well as obtaining certain benefits from them such as the Nepotilian Mine.

It's an energy source that is indispensable to the current interstellar era.

Nathan and Ryan gasped.

"Giving him a Nepotilian Mine in exchange of sister -in-Law is a worth while deal" Nathan said

The other brothers raised their eyebrows as Ryan looked at Nathan in shock.

"Big brother is really adaptable. Am really envious of brother ability to adapt." Ryan said with a hint of mockery.

"Tsk, it's called self awareness" Nathan replied to Ryan.

"Your really self aware, besides how are you sure, big brother would marry her. With big brother mentality do you think it's possible. "

Flynn watched them argue but he had to agree with Ryan.

Rescuing her did not mean marrying her.

He was already one foot into the grave, besides he had hurt her a lot and did not want to do such things again.

Getting her life back to normal is what he would try to do, nothing more than that.

He was not in a hurry because he knew that the King would want to erase all traces of toture on her, so that he wouldn't find out, so he would definitely keep her safe and healthy, but he was not sure if she would be safe psychologically.

Counting his remaining life span which was already on the 4th month.

He still had about 8 months but after rescuing her, it would become 7 months remaining.

Flynn did not know he miscalculated something.

The King would indeed fatten her up but he would also give her slow poison, so that once she is in Flynn's hand, nothing will be spilled.

He also helped the prince connect back to his hidden army.

He had also told the prince everything but also wondered while he never came back only to find out that he list his memories and had only been getting fragments until he saw him.

Understanding up till this point, he hoped that the prince would not go against the Wright which he promised and swore and oath.

He also told his brothers about it which gave them a shock.

Before they left for the Masquerade ball, he went to Nathan to know if the clone is ready.

"Cough, it's been ready long time ago"

"Hmm" Flynn raised an eyebrow at him.

"I hated her, so I created the clone to vent my anger on her but now..".

" Your no longer sure if you hate her?" Flynn said

"Yes, it's complicated"

"Then you don't need to bother. Remove all past grudges and treat it like getting to know a stranger"

"Really, will that work"

"It depends on how you see it"

" Then I would take it as re-evaluating someone"

"Okay"

Then Nathan explained how to handle the clone.

Taking it into his interspatial ring which was as rare as Phenix feathers.

The Masquerade ball .

You wear mask to attend the Masquerade ball so the brothers weren't to conspicuous if not because of their height and disposition.

After a while he was invited by the King.

After some talk and negotiation.

In exchange of the princess he would give him a Nepotilian Mine which was an impure one.

The King was disastified with it but when he told him that it was the Wright family method of purification that they can get pure Nepotilian energy gem and that the Mine was one of the mine with the lowest impurity in their hands.

He could see the emperor distrust on how I could easily give up such a mine but he did not care as they had found a new energy source that was different form the Nepotilian Mine.

His brother gave it the name Xenon.

It has high reactivity but some of them were strangely stable and some mildly unstable .

So they were two species of it.

The emperor could not be bothered to have doubts when he saw him with the deed.

They would sign it but he was giving it to the Royal family not him and he would be taking the princess today.

The emperor did not think much and agreed.

The princess had no value whatsoever to him after now as he had poisoned her heavily and she might not be able to cure it.
