Chapter 6 Immortal Physique

After hearing their praises a thought came to my mind, I just wanted to say sorry to god for everything I have said earlier the pain was worth it and thank you for giving me this opportunity and as if reading my mind the system responded.

“Hey system, what does fate points do?” I asked system.

When system replied I understood one thing that something was definitely wrong this system but my thought was disrupted by the sudden arrival of a guard.

“Your majesty, the message has arrived from the grand palace and we have prepared the teleportation gate as you instructed.” He said and my worries vanished.

“Oh they are quite eager to meet our little prince, the message arrived sooner than I expected, let’s go everyone.” King took the lead and everyone followed behind him.

I wonder who the guests are for king to go and meet them personally but more guest means more praises I was more than happy to meet them, after all who knows they may discover some more extraordinary hidden talent inside my body.

The king walked deep underground castle followed by others and the whole time my mouth was agape in awe at the looks of majestic castle. It was way grand than what I have seen in the movies and anime. The technology in this world doesn’t seem to have progressed much compared to my previous world but they seem to have pursued a different path to developing society.

We arrived at the deepest part of the palace because king himself said this to the legendary mage cleric who seemed ignorant of palace’s structure which meant he was not the part of the royal palace.

Underground the palace; king opened a golden door inside of which a portal was emitting a white light mixed with green threads.

“Your majesty, it would not be wise to take her majesty the queen with us, the place will not suit her.” The Legendary swordsman Ronald said to king and I had confused look on my face as to which type of place are we going.

“But in the invitation the name of queen was also mentioned, what if he gets offended because of absence of queen?” King argued.

“I agree with Ronald’s suggestion your majesty, we will make some excuse.” The guardian also agreed.

“Very well, Isabella you should go back to your room and wait for us.” The king spoke and the queen left before giving me a mischievous smile which I didn’t understand.

The king surrounded me with a layer of mana which looked like a bubble maybe to protect me from the effect of teleportation and entered the portal.

My vision blurred and I felt little hallucination but didn’t pass out due to the Training/Torture I have received from the system.

It took few second for me to regain my vision back and when I looked around from inside the bubble I was in a huge throne room which had no walls surrounding it and was floating in an empty space. It was more majestic than the one I had seen in the hobbit movie where that dwarf king sat with arcane stone.

There were 2 floating seats on each sides of the throne room where 4 demons sat, they were not human but demon and when I looked behind me I saw all the powerful humans who came with me bend their knees looking down at the floor their heads bowed toward the center of the throne room.

The king was half bowed and was looking ahead toward the throne which was in the center of the room respectfully. On that throne a black burly figure sat with bored expression on his face. He was a demon but nevertheless handsome beyond anything I have seen and seemed to be in his 30s.

The air around him was so heavy that it was becoming difficult for me to breathe even inside the bubble. When king Alfred bowed the demon didn’t even looked at him but I had a very bad feeling about this whole situation and as to confirm that hypothesis I did the only thing I could do ‘Status check’.

I felt my soul escape my body and rubbed my eyes to see whether I was seeing a dream but it was reality. Wake up you ‘Bastard system’, I shouted on top of my lungs.

Seeing the notification a relieved smile appeared on my lips which disappeared the next second when demon king looked at me curiously and snapped his fingers.

How can this bastard leave me at such a crucial moment but then I thought, that is what the system and these gods have been doing till now. Think Eric think how you can survive this ordeal. Yes there is one way, this demon king is definitely smart because he was able to block my escape route by reading my thoughts. ‘If I plead him for my life and swear my allegiance to him I will at least be able to survive.’ I said out loud and system woke up from his slumber.

Bastard ran away once again and didn’t even reimburse the fate point; it is not the time to think about this.

“It is a good strategy considering your situation but I don’t have any intention of raising a parasite by my side, on the other hand if I use you as a sacrifice I will gain tremendous strength and support from demon gods.” He said out loud as If he can read all my thoughts.

“Your mental defense is non-existing right now, so obviously I can read your thoughts.” He stood up from his throne and started walking in my direction.

Now that he was standing I could clearly see his features, he was 15 feet tall with golden eyes and four horns protruding from his head. He wore a black armor which covered his whole body with diamond like scale; I was not even sure whether it was his skin or armor.

But one thing I was sure of was that he is the most powerful being I have ever meet, more powerful than that angel sylph and other angels whom I met few days ago because each step he took in my direction the humans behind me dug deep in the ground.

“You are one peculiar human; even in front of your death you are curious about my skin and armor.” He said nearing me.

“To satisfy your curiosity, this is not armor but dragon scales, because what stands before you is not a normal demon but a draconic demon king.” Saying this he transformed into a black 50 meter huge black dragon and roared.

‘I am dead.’ This was the first time I have seen a dragon in my life but what I was seeing in front of me was not dragon but ‘Death’.

“And of course to answer your second question I am 100 times stronger than any angel you have encountered before coming here, I am the direct apostle of demon god.” He said transforming back to his humanoid demon form.

He is an apostle of demon gods, which means…

“Yes, you have come 100 year late to save this world my nemesis; I have already conquered this world, everything here belongs to me and demon gods now.” He said encircling me.

“Ohh, immortal physique quite interesting, I would have loved to have you as my subordinate with your talent you would have easily surpassed all the dukes siting here in this room but I can’t take you in because of that parasite attached to you known as ‘System’.” He said and what is with this immortal physique, didn’t I have an ethereal physique, I thought.
