Reincarnation of the dragon king

Third world, A war

Gem pulled the sword, holding it in front of him as he ran and jumped from the cliff. He felt powerful. His powers were being awaken each day but he was still not able to go into his dragon form.

The sword went through the big monster that let out a lot scream and then fell down. The sword was glowing in his hand before it became dull.

"Congratulations host, your level had increased to 13."

Gem looked at Sumi who blinked and then flashed a big dumb smile. He never understood how she remains happy even in such situation.

"You came to save me." She got up and Gem noticed she was holding an infant.

"Stay safe." Gem turned as he attacked the other monsters. Soon, the whole place was cleared while Yumi gave him a nod. She did not say anything but he could feel she was hostile towards him now.

They were traveling with a group of people when the monsters attacked them. Soon, the two groups parted. Gem was also going in the same direction where Yumi was going was going.

"You can come with us."

She told him who nodded.

"Are you a dragon?"

She questioned him who nodded again.

"Sumi says she is a dragon too but I never felt the similar energy with her as yours." She added again while Gem glanced at Sumi who was busy with her other friends.

"Since when she is with you."

"I don't know. It's like she is always with us. " Yumi turned to leave while Gem find her answer strange.

Soon, they were in the car moving towards their new destination. All of them were finding the exist to get out of this world.

They travelled for days and night until they arrived to the city of dead. This was the only clue that Gem could find. The exist was there somewhere.

"I love this place. It's fum to be here." Sumi sounded sad as they walked through the city to find the exist. 

Gem's guardian system was instructing him about the place where they needed to go. 

"The exist is on the top of the building."

The system told Gem who held the sword in his hand as he lead the others to the roof. He knew he was going to find at least the twins there to stop him but nothing happened.

But they also could not find the exist too.

As other tried to find a way he sat down and grabbed the small pebble. The person who was behind every thing was more sharp than he thought.

He squinted his eyes looking at the place where the system was telling the exist was but it was fee steps away from the edge of the building. The building was very high and falling from the top means a very fast death.

"I think we should leave."

Yumi asked others but Gem raised his ahnd and threw the pebble. It passed through the air but then it disappeared. A smile appeared on his lips adls he turned towards the others.

"I think I know the exist."

"Where?" Marcus looked around.

"There." He pointed towards the area where teg pebble disappeared but others did not want to trust him.

Gem grabbed his bag and threw it on the direction. It passed through it and never appeared on the other side.

"You can trust me or you can stay here but I am leaving."

He waved his hand towards but Yumi stopped him.

"I will go first." She told everyone and them ran towards the edge and jumped in the air. She disappeared in midair.

The next was Marcus then Vini and Yin.

Gem looked around. This was too easy. He did not know why no one appeared to stop him.

"What are you thinking?"

Sumi's voice brought him out of his thoughts.

"I thought, the gods were obsessed with me. They kept following me around but now they are not here."

Sumi chuckled as she nodded and stood in front of him.

"Those twins are really dumb. Aren't they?"

Gem blinked.

He never told her that they were twins.

"Oh come on. You still haven't gotten it."

Sumi waved her hand and a sword appeared in her hand. She laughed as she pointed her sword towards him.

"I am way more obsessed with you, my little dragon."

She suddenly attacked him and Gem could not pull his sword out. He dodge the fierce attack where the sword cut through the roof as if it was made of cake.

He pulled his sword and held it in front of him in a defensive way.

"It's you?"

He questioned in an unsure voice making the other person chuckle.

"Why? Don't I look a goddess?"

"You look like a clown."

He mocked her as he slowly retreated towards the edge. He could never fight her not at this level of skills. 

"I feel sad. I took good care of you. Did not I?

Why you woke up from the illusion? I prepared it for you with such love."

She played with her sword as she clicked her tongue. 

"You caged me in this game for years and you think you did good with me. Once I got what was mine, I will find you and return everything after multiplying with hundred."

Gem snarled as he felt the edge under his feet.

He made the plan as he turned and jumped in air. The second second, he felt as if he passed through a cold air and then his feet landed on the ground.

The surroundings were changed and he was in new world. He inhef few times and lifted his head to find others looking at him.

"Gem, you made it."

He heard an exciting sound and found Sumi standing beside Vini with a grin on her face. Suddenly he remembered when Yumi said she did not know since when Sumi was with them.

She was a goddess and she was expert in manipulation. She was playing with him like a hunter and a prey.
