"Jessica, this man you see here has been a devil in our midst for a long time. Do you know why he left without telling you?" Abigail asked with a somber. "It was because he was too ashamed after being caught in the act, too abashed to face you. his a thief and he deserves to be put behind bars," Abigail added, her face fumed with irate.
"What?" Jessica was dumbstruck by Abigail’s words. Ever since Morgan left, she had never for once known the reason, and now, hearing her stepmother’s explanation left her confused, making her despise Morgan the more. At the same time, it gave her more reason to divorce Morgan immediately having nothing to do with him.
"Morgan, is that what happened? I can't believe this," Jessica said, a wave of Disbelief stroking her spine as she felt her hands shaking, her lips trembling.
Five years ago, Jessica’s company had been threatened with seizure by another firm, claiming she had violated certain agreements. Fraudulent activities had been traced to her company as well.
"So, all this while, it was you?" Jessica mumbled pointing fingers at Morgan, tears gushing from her eyes.
"No, Jessica, it's not what you think! This woman you call your stepmother is nothing but a witch. You won't believe her true intentions toward you if I tell you!" Morgan tried to explain, desperate for Jessica to believe him, but she turned her head away.
"Jessica, don't you think we should teach this man a lesson? He should be sent behind bars," Abigail declared, then picked up her phone and called the police.
Minutes later, the police barged into the house, armed with a gun, their eyes and present was so cold and real making it hard for anybody to suspect if they were real policemen. They were dressed like officers, but something about them seemed off and suspicious.
"Seize him! He’s a thief, and he belongs to be kept behind bars! After defrauding us by marrying my daughter, he then had the audacity to plan on stealing one of her companies, conniving with some unknown others to compose a false fraudulent activity that was been traced back to the company all for the plan of taking the company away from Jessica my step daughter, isn't that insane," Abigail explained her voice ranting like a dog.
“No it's all a lie, I know nothing of what she's talking about,” Morgan tried to protest but was restrained by the policemen.
"Mom, what's happening here?" a child's voice sounded. A little boy walked toward Jessica and hugged her. "Mom, I can't sleep because of the noise," he yawned, rubbing his eyes.
"Sorry, Caspian. Everything is fine," Jessica replied, running her hands over the soft child hair.
"Who is that, Jessica?" Morgan asked in disbelief his eyes widened as he saw the resemblance of himself on the boy.
"He’s your son, you fool! You left me pregnant, and this is your product!" Jessica replied, wrapping her arms over Caspian's body protectively.
"Who is he? Why is he handcuffed?" Caspian's sharp little voice asked curiously, his eyes fixed on his mother as he waited for an answer.
"Don’t worry, my love, The police just want to take him into custody," Jessica replied softly, kissing Caspian on his forehead. "Let's go back to your room okay? so I put you back to sleep," she added with a grin.
"What the hell are you waiting for?" Abigail cut in. "You guys are cops, and I expect you to do your job, so why wasting time, please take him away," she barked at the officers.
“Yes ma’am,” the officer's replied.
"I have a son?" Morgan muttered, but before he could say another word, he was dragged out of the mansion like a dog.
"Let me hold my son! Please, just once!" Morgan begged, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
Morgan was thrown into the police vehicle. Ideally, he should have been taken to the station, but instead, they diverted to the woods.
The car stopped. Morgan was dragged out and thrown to the ground, his head hitting the hard earth. He let out a sharp groan, feeling the pain of the impact.
"You fool! You should have stayed hidden, but you decided to give yourself up, by returning," one of the fake officers sneered, pulling out his gun and pointing it at Morgan's forehead.
While the gun still pointed on Morgan's head, the second officer, who had been leaning against the car stared at his colleague as he gets himself entertained by what he was about to do, suddenly received a call from Abigail. She wanted to have a final conversation with Morgan before ending him, she demanded.
"Hold on, Nathan. Boss wants to talk to him first," the man said, putting the phone on speaker as he stepped closer to Morgan, who was on the ground handcuffed and tied, his legs joint with each other, mouth tied with a rag.
"All your suspicions were true, and the greatest mistake you did was returning. You brought your death upon yourself, and am glad for that," Abigail's voice echoed through the phone with a sarcastic satisfying laughter of achievement.
"Take the shot," the other man ordered as he slipped the phone back into his pocket.
The so-called policemen were, in fact, Abigail’s secret bodyguards—men who handled her dirty work.
Nathan pointed the gun at Morgan’s head.
Bang! Bang!
Morgan saw his life flash before his eyes as he gradually faded into darkness.
Bing!
System activated.
A mechanical voice echoed in Morgan’s mind, with a translucent screen displayed on his view.

Spat On The Face
“Why the hell didn’t you make me finish?” Shinda replied with a gasp, then chuckled in a taunting manner before pushing his body forward as he walked into the punched-hole house at which Abigail referred to as Pig House.“Ooh, God, this place stinks,” shinda recoiled, covering his nose. “Well, a person like you deserves a place like this after what you have done to my boss,” Shinda added. A Pain To Accept
“My sweet Isabella, come closer to me. You are my perfect daughter,” Abigail said, smiling. Isabella pushed forward, then came close to Abigail, hugging her while grinning. Abigail gently ran her hands over Isabella back as she spoke, slowly. "You have been here throughout the process of my plans. Me giving you the company I had collected from Jessica wasn't a mistake but a gift for your perfect prediction and guidance.""Hehe, what do you expect, Mum? It's me, the perfect photocopy of you. I will do anything to please you, Mother," Isabella replied, her grin as devilish as a devil."By the way, Mother, isn't that cripple supposed to be here cleaning the house?" Isabella asked, raising her head as she stared at her mother."Yeah, you just reminded me. I will send off the security to go get her in the pig house where she lived," Abigail laughed, after referring the house where Jessica lived as a pig house. Isabella laughed as well, then adjusted herself on the sofa she was seated on.
