Lorraine found herself stuck in a deep conversation with Jeffrey. Although he seems to be a vibe, a real vibe to Lorraine but she’s not feeling the conversation again.

“Really?” Her head tilted in awe, keeping up the facade of her interest in what he’s saying.

“Yes. I was like what the fuck. How can he be like that? This is my fucking girlfriend we’re talking about. He can just do that, this is actually a funny experience I’m telling you.” Jeffrey retorted, breaking out into a laugh that Lorraine joined even when her system wasn’t constricting to produce the explosive mirth vocalized sound.

Richard already left them which makes this more difficult for Lorraine to back out. It seems to her Jeffrey was enjoying her company, but she wasn’t enjoying his and wish to explore the party before they return home.
