Zi Han’s face flushed, and his breath caught in his throat as he looked at Bridgette. He still couldn’t believe the most popular girl in college had just proposed to him at her own pool party.

Most guys in college would give anything to impress Bridgette. But hardly anyone had managed to win her over.

“You barely know me,” he spoke at last, stopping her advances.

Bridgette smiled seductively and whispered, “We have all the time in the world to know each other. Don’t be such a prude.”

The Lang Brothers were only too happy to oblige. Qin Lang watched from a distance and let Yin Lang begin the training.“A martial arts user’s greatest weapon is his technique. Most martial arts cultivators on Argos usually rely on nothing but their fists and legs. But a few rare ones have a gift with specific weapons,” Yin Lang explained.Zi Han remembered Dongxiang mentioning his martial arts technique and immediately latched onto the concept.“Dongxiang is renowned for his Dragon Sword Technique, and his weapon of choice is the katana,” he remarked.Yin Lang nodded. “That is correct. Master Dongxiang is among the greatest cultivators Argos has ever seen, and I am quite certain he could slay every other martial arts user in this city in the blink of an eye. However, for unarmed fighters like us, we can only rely on the power of our bodies. So, it is important to build not just strength, but stamina and flexibility as well.”Zi Han nodded in acknowledgment and prepared to learn all th

The following day, Dongxiang showed up at the All-Star Martial Arts Centre at dusk. The classes had already been dismissed for the day, and only the trainers were still sparring inside the arena.Instead of going straight to the training room, Dongxiang waited in a guest room, where Zi Han soon met him and closed the door.“I thought we could meet at Silver Wind mansion later at night. Is everything alright, master?” Dongxiang asked.“It was urgent, and everything is not alright. I have something important to discuss,” Zi Han replied and proceeded to tell Dongxiang all about the Governor’s Martial Arts tournament and Xiao Feng’s involvement in the whole thing.Dongxiang listened to the whole story without batting an eyelid, slowly joining the dots and putting the picture together.“So, what do you make of all this?” Zi Han asked as he finished divulging the details.“I have never met Ming-Tao’s oldest son, but I have heard that he is every bit as headstrong as his father. It was an intentional move to avoid rousing any suspicion, even if he was followed. The rest of the household had already fallen fast asleep, but the butler was still wide awake and greeted Zi Han as he rang the doorbell.“Welcome home, master. I hope it was an eventful night,” he said, taking Zi Han’s watch and offering him fresh wet wipes. “Should I prepare dinner or would you like me to draw you a bath first?”“You’ve been waiting long enough. Get some sleep. I want to be alone for a while,” Zi Han replied and headed for the bathroom. After spending a good half an hour thinking in the shower, Zi Han finally decided to call it a night and hit the bed. But as soon as he was about to turn off the lights, his phone rang. His sleep vanished in an instant as he saw Xiao Feng’s name flashing on the screen. He remembered handing out his number to Xiao Feng at the party but did

She felt so embarrassed that she couldn’t even bear to look at Zi Han and immediately tried to get up and leave.Daisy, however, held her arm, preventing her from moving.“Where are you going? We are still in the middle of the game.”“I don’t want to play anymore,” Suyin mumbled and tried to pull away, but Daisy tightened her grip, making her wince in pain. “Let go of me!”“It’s rude to walk away in the middle of something,” she said, holding her down. “Just sit and relax. There is no need to act like a kid.”“Yeah, it’s not like you’ve never kissed anyone,” Yutai cut in. “Just enjoy yourself a bit instead of being so uptight all the time.”Bridgette carefully studied Suyin’s face, and her reaction quickly gave away her reality. “Oh, so you really haven’t kissed anyone, have you?” she taunted. “And here I was thinking you were just feeling shy in front of us.”“I don’t want to complete this dare.
