She moved quickly.

Pulling her bed away from the wall, she peered behind the headboard. Nothing. She moved to the drawers, emptying them onto the floor, one by one, fingers trailing the wood lining, tapping for hollows.

Her breath caught as she paused near the vent above her bed. It had always been

  • Epilogue:

Everyone stared at Leonard with horror, their eyes had seen the unspeakable. Everyone was stunned to pieces. The box laid empty at his feet, its glow extinguished. But it’s power had not vanished for it burned in him. No one dared to move not even Natasha. Leonard lifted his sword slowly, the edge glistening with Riven’s blood. He raised it high, then let it fall at his side “Riven is gone,” he said, his voice layered with something older, heavier. “And with him, every chain that held us back.” Natasha’s lips trembled, but she forced a cold smile. “That power you think you have now it won’t last. The Lotus will not bow to you.” Leonard stepped toward her. The ground cracked under his boots. She flinched back. “You already have.” His fiery eyes pinned her in place. “If you think otherwise, test me.” She swallowed hard, fury burning behind her fear, but she said nothing. Her men, what little was left of them, lowered their weapons. Claire shifted uneasily. “Leonard… you d

  • Dark Dragon Reborn!

“You own nothing, Riven and everything that happened to us was caused by you and only you!” Leonard responded.“You don’t know anything, Leonard,” Riven sighed deeply, shaking his head as if to show pity. “The dark dragon rules only keep us caged. We don’t do things our own way. We are the most powerful, secretive group to ever exist on earth and we can’t use that power for our own?”He slowly turned to stare intensely at Leonard. “I can make a change. We can make that change. Come with me, lets rule the world together.”“You’re sick!” Leonard spat out. “You want to enslave everybody for your own selfish reasons and I won’t let you do that.”Saying that, he drew out his sword. Riven gave out a sick smile and slashed Leonard’s sword with his. The impact almost made Leonard give way.Rigen smirked. “Do not forget that I was one of the elders. Our skills are not on par.”“We shall see about that.”Riven struck first fast, precise, his blade a blur. Leonard blocked, the clash ringing in t

  • The Standoff With Riven:

“You have always been a confident dog!” Riven’s voice echoed. Leonard looked up, Riven stood on the rooftop of the building, several men dressed in black with masks covering their faces, stared down at them all, their hands on their swords.“But you are just a man and your confidence will die with you here.”Leonard smiled slightly. “Don’t boast so early yet, Riven. You have no idea what can happen in the next few seconds or minutes. The tables could turn in anyone’s favor.”Riven chuckled softly and glanced at Malik who was battered and covered in his own blood. “Tsk tsk,” he clicked his tongue over his teeth. “Such a pity, Malik. You have been reduced to nothing and I don’t know what to do with you at this moment.”Malik raised a brow. What does Riven mean by this? Was he going to get rid of him? But, he was the one who told me to give up myself to Leonard. As these many thoughts rang through his mind, he broke out in cold sweat. It seems like his life lies in his hands at this poi
