“Strange, then it means that the person is amongst our ranks and he has been hiding from us. But how is possible that they would cause an accident that almost killed you three years ago.” Jacquline was not even clear on wh would think of trying to kill Keith.
“Clearly whoever did it wanted to remove our master from his throne and they were trying to kill him to make sure their plan didnt fail.” Marx was looking at the table trying to make sense of the entire thing but it was still not clear to him how it happened under their watch.
Keith dropped his glass on the table, he looked at the two men and he had something to say but he di not know how he was going to say it without causing a bit of confusion for them.
“I know this is going to sound crazy but I think its best if I lay low for now and make sure that everything is okay before I even think of going out there to do anything. I will stay here for now, Marx. I want you to make sure that no one knows that I am back for now. I want to know what we would be able to find if I was to lay low,”
Keith was not the type of person to want to lay low, but he had chosen to make sure that he was not going to be seen by anyone until they found out who was trying to kill him all those years ago.
He knew that there was someone out there that was going to stop at nothing to make sure he was dead, but he didn’t know who it was that would even think of killing him. It was not known who would even attempt to do such a thing but it was not someone amongst his men but someone he has met before that would think of trying to kill him.
“So youre saying you will remain here? I dont really know what you will be doing here and what it will get you so I dont want to imagine what it is you are trying to get from hiding my Lord its not like you.”
Marx was sounding worried, he knew there was no telling what Keith had in mind and it was like he had made up his mind to make sure that no one would know until it was time for him to tell everyone.
“I know it might sound stupid and all but I think we have to make sure that we keep my being alive a secret for now. I know the people of Dragon Valley will want to see their ruler soon but I have to find out how they were able to take my throne from me and who it was that planned to kill me.”
Keith was still looking at his glass of wine, it was like he had something bothering him but he didn’t want t make it something that would make Marx and Jacquline worry themselves.
“You always have a plan and it seems you have thought of something even before you decided to tell us this,” Jacquline was looking at Keith he knew there was something that Keith was planning to do, it was up to him find out things he could do to make sure he didn’t lose anything.
“There is no fixed plan on it, I just want to make sure that I dont make a decision that will jeopardize my people or even make them lose anything. I dont know how far that psycho on that throne can go so I dont wnat to find out by making my peope face the dangers thay I would have to deak with.”
Keith was the type of person who would think of everyone first before thinking of himself, he wanted to make sure that nothing was going to happen when he made the decision to come out as the Lord of Dragon Valley, he knew that people would give anything to make sure they were on good terms with him.
“I see, you are trying to make sure that no one would even think of coming close to the valley now you are not there. But the people who planned your assassination waited three years before they made a move to try and take the valley. They even brought someone who would stand as the Lord of War.” Marx was looking at Keith, and with Keith’s reaction he knew that he had no intention of letting anyone slip up.
“The people of the valley will be safe for now, I will make sure that I find a way to make sure that no one would even think of going close to them. I know its not going to be easy but I will find a way. But for now, I will wish to be left alone to rest, I have had a long day.”
Keith wanted to calm his head down, there was nothing he wouldn’t do o make sure that his people had the best in their lives but he knew that if he was to make any mistake then it would make his people suffer.
“I understand sir, we will leave you alone for now.” Marx bowed down and took his leave, he was about to stand in Keith’s way of getting the rest he needed.
The two men left the room and it was like Kieth had gotten the peace he wanted but he didn’t know what he was going to do at that moment in time except think of the things he needed to fix up in MetroVille.
‘I know that there is no way on earth they would even want to see me after all this years but I will have to make sure that nothing is out of place and everything will be fine once I get back as the ruler of that valley.’
Keith walked around the room and he was not happy about the way things went for him earlier that day but he was not about to let it get in his way.
“It's time I make sure that no one would ever think of walking all over me like that again.” Keith looked out the window, he had a smile on his face and it meant that he was ready for anything that will be thrown his way.
