Chapter 2. Crestfallen

          " Beverly!!" Liam yelled with shock right on top of his trembling voice. He was in despair, seeing this. 

At this time, Beverly and the man beside him, were startled before realizing Liam was already back. 

Instantly, Beverly cowered and tried to cover her face in shame, as an unknown fear surged in her heart..

She wasn't anticipating Liam to be back yet. 

Liam just stood still like a statue and watched them like his senses had flew away. He was only quivering like a thin lost leaf. 

Beverly felt so damned and quickly got up from the bed, struggling to clad some parts of her body, but she avoided staring into Liam's furious eyes. 

" Liam, you are back? How....was..t..he job interview?" She stuttered, trying hard to find a way to explain herself, as she scratched the back of her head awkwardly. 

" Liam, please, I can explain. This is not what you are thinking. Just give me....a chance please." She begged worriedly, stealing glances between the two men. 

But compare to her, the man on the bed was rather calm and composed. And from the look of it, it seemed like he was from a noble home. 

Liam immediately recovered from his one minute trance and looked up at the anxious Beverly. His face was filled with nothing but rage, annoyance, irritation, and disappointment! 

" The nerve of you Beverly?! The fucking nerve of you?! What have I done to deserve this?! Tell me! After all ways I have tried to prove my love to you! Why?!" Hurt, he cried out and turned his back. 

" Beverly, how dare you?! You have the effontery to......... sleep with another....man?! Aren't you ashamed?! I can see there is no shame in you at all! Seriously, I never thought you will stab me in the back like this! Damn! I regret showing you how much I care and love you! You don't deserve it!" He faced Beverly again and spat with so much annoyance and irritation spreading out from his whole body. 

At this point, he was not himself anymore. He felt too betrayed and just want this nightmare to end, cause it was almost close to ripping his soul apart....

Beverly, who felt ashamed and worried just now, suddenly took a deep breath, and she cooled herself. 

She gazed straight into Liam's eyes, disgust bursting out from her face immediately, and she sneered. 

" Liam, who do you think you are?! For rich sake, do you ever sit down and think about your miserable wretched unappealing life?! You bloody fool, it seems you don't know anything!" She seized Liam up and down, with scorn and clapped her palms together in an amusing manner before hissing loudly, twitching her lips at the same time. 

She laughed derisively and got up from the bed, not caring about anything again. 

" You......what gut do you have?! You of all people! You called me a cheat and a betrayal? Well, you can say that, but I don't give a damn! Do you think I am going to wait and starve with you?! What do you take me for? I was only doing you a favour by dating you, you don't have a future, a good life, job, a family, money, inheritance, status, name, house, car, career, investment, no worth, you aren't even famous or anything! Basically, you don't have anything! So, what can you offer me?! Tell me, Liam Storm, what can you offer me?! How can you make your life and my life better?! I thought since you graduated as the best student from the top college, you will be wealthy, but guess I am totally wrong! You are as worthless as a penniless bastard and nothing but a loser after your graduation!!" 

She spat angrily at him, pointing to him as she yelled. Then, she moved closer to the man on the bed and smiled at him. 

This......

Liam almost stumbled back, upon hearing all these words flying to him, and he blinked his eyes repeatedly....

Seeing Beverly cheating on him didn't really matter to him, but hearing all her hurtful words, he was thrown into another dimension full of sorrow and melancholy. 

Tears threatened to flow out of his eyes, but he bit his lower lip and clenched his fists. His head was inclined downward, as he felt too humiliated.

" Beverly.....why?" He rambled, trying to hold himself back from bursting! 

" Shut up! I am busy. If you don't mind, that's the way to the door. Just get out with your miserable life, or if you want to, you can stay here and watch how me and my darling perform. But you must prepare yourself for the sound...." She grinned cosmically and curled herself around the man on the bed. 

Liam was displeased seeing this, and he gritted his teeth! He snorted, his face contorting immediately in fury! 

" You are nothing but a manipulative bitch!! How can you do this to me?! I thought you love me for real?! You are a snake, Beverly! So you only accept me because of this ....... You did nothing but use me to your liking and collect even all my savings!" He retorted furiously at Beverly, as he pointed to her. He was seriously vexed, as the realization dawned on him. He couldn't believe his so called girlfriend was just a slut, who used him only for her financial needs.

The truth was really heartbreaking! 

At this time, the man on the bed, who was already romancing with Beverly, laughed amusingly, feeling pleased. 

He sat straight on the bed and crossed his leg lazily, before saying, " How can you be so stupid! You are so ridiculous!" He mocked Liam and shook his head. " Beverly, I am so disappointed in you. Why did you have to stoop down so low to accept a useless mediocre piece of gabbage like him? He doesn't even know anything, not to talk of the power and the value of wealth! I know what wealth is, and I am wealthy and ready to spoil you with all my riches! Just tell this damn aashole to get his fucked self out of here!" He faced Beverly and rubbed his palm on her cheek gently, his eyes shining arrogance the more. 

Liam growled upon hearing this. The anger in him had suppressed the way he was hurting! 

They had provoked him, and he wouldn't let it go! 

" You.......who the fuck are you?!" He raised up his fists and yelled, with a flushed face! 

Quickly, he moved towards the man, who just provoked him and proceeded to grab his hands, but Beverly stopped him instantly! 

" Don't you dare, Liam Storm!" She threatened, glaring at him, with so much disdain! 

Liam stepped back, feeling astounded, his face turning ashen......he was so.... aggrieved. 

" Beverly....." 

His word came out more like a whisper, as his brows lowered immediately to hide the gloominess roaming across his eyes.
