Because there were 'authorities' guarding the area, Rex could not access the forest normally. He broke through at blinding speed. The guards furrowed their brows when they sensed an unusual gust of air.

"Did you guys feel that? I think something just passed by."

"You're insane. What animal can move that fast? I'm sure it was just the wind."

"I agree. The weather in Loris City is not good. There have been a lot of rainstorms lately."

The guards put that gust of wind out of their minds because the weather in the Loris was indeed extreme. A strong blast of wind could indicate the coming of a storm.

On the other hand, Rex managed to enter the forest without being spotted. No guard was in sight even though he had walked far. It indicated that something dangerous was in the forest; thus, the security crew was not stationed there.

Rex knew what that danger was. Loris was a small, remote city in Histrio. It rained more than any other city, so Loris referred to it as the rainy city. Many citi
