Chapter 10

As they stood up to leave, Adolphus could still see the discomfort in Pius’s body. More than anything, he wanted to come over and confront him but he had to pull himself together before his girls.

He was a playboy and never hid his promiscuity. Moreover, his parents are rich and spoiled him silly so he was free to do as he liked. 

He could spend their money the way he wanted and might not even go for classes. 

Pius believed that everything his father owned belonged to him so there was no need to study so hard. 

Before Adolphus and his friends could step out of their chairs, a loud voice called out to him.

“Hey minion. You've gotta be fucking kidding me. What are you doing here? Oh, let me guess, you came to see if you can be employed here.”

“Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you. You won't be hired here because you don't qualify to even be a cleaner at a place like this.”

“I actually came here to eat with my friends. We just finished our lunch. Sorry I didn't invite you.” Adolphus replied back to Richmond who just showed up there with his clique and Svetlana clinging onto him while giving Adolphus a dirty look. 

“Oh, I forgot. I couldn't have invited you because you were keeping the police company so there was no way you could have caught up with us.”

“Cut the crap, loser. We both know that you won't be able to afford the meals here. Unless, you begged for some leftovers from other customers.” Svetlana added mockingly, a wicked smirk on her face. 

When she realized that Adolphus had company, she made a sarcastic remark. “Oh, Donald and Glover. You're both here. I want to know if you're wealthy enough to afford the meals here. Maybe I'll take back my comments on your friend, Adolphus and assume that you bought lunch for him.”

“They can't afford the meals here so there won't be any need to withdraw your comment. They're all beggars who are just better than their friend, Adolphus.” Richmond added to Svetlana's remark and they began to laugh. 

“Are you done, you arrogant brat.” Donald decided to take it upon himself and stood up to the couple before him.

“And you little bitch, it's really a good thing that you showed your true colors on time so Adolphus won't have to waste his time on your sorry ass.”

“You have the nerve to bring words to me and Glover when you're a fucking poor bitch. Are you wealthy, No. You're just a self acclaimed beauty queen who's clinging onto a rich brat like Richmond in exchange for his money while he keeps fucking you.”

“Well, news flash. You're not the only one he's fucking so don't keep your hopes high on him because he goes after everything on skirts.”

Donald's wild response got everyone gaping at him, their mouth almost dropping to the floor.

Adolphus never expected such a comeback response from Donald. 

“What did you just say to me?” Richmond muttered while smiling wickedly. However, Svetlana interrupted him and charged at Donald. 

“How dare you talk down on me and my boyfriend in that manner.” She lifted her hands to hit Donald but was surprisingly stopped by Richmond. 

“Don't stress yourself, Svet. Vincent and Gabriel will handle him.” 

Richmond's lackeys were about to attack Donald when a waiter walked up to them. 

“Is there something you need? Please, have your seats if you're here to eat but if not, you should leave before I call security on you guys.” The waiter was referring to Richmond and his clique because he saw Adolphus and his friends eat.

They even paid for Pius who had been silently watching the drama from his seat. 

He didn't know what had earlier transpired because he was not in school. Just then, a video popped up on his phone and he opened it and was left speechless. 

Adolphus also opened the video and showed it to Richmond. “You guys are trending. Keep it up and you'll continue to be the school's topic of discussion.”

“You trashy bastard, have you seen what you caused.” Richmond's face turned red as he charged at Adolphus but had to stop himself. 

The waiter quickly brought out his phone to make a video recording of Richmond if he were to ever assault Adolphus. 

“I dare you to hit me, Richmond. Go ahead and send your lackeys to beat me up like earlier.” Adolphus was referring to the incident at the school gate where he beat them up. 

This time, he was claiming to be the victim who was beaten up. 

Although they all know the truth, they could do nothing about it at that moment. 

They were in a prestigious hotel and he'd give people more topics to gossip about if he throws the first punch. 

Richmond shook his head many times while pointing at Adolphus. “This is not over.” He commented, his eyes boring daggers at Adolphus and his friends. 

Without any more words, he signaled his friends and they turned around and began to leave. 

They could no longer eat lunch at the place. Although another reason Richmond came there was to confront the tech men in charge of the CCTV footage. 

He had paid them to conceal the evidence of the time Adolphus was being framed.

Unfortunately for him, the police got hold of it and now, he has to face the embarrassment of being arrested by the police before everyone.
