EVEN though Lorelei didn’t agree with what he wanted, he still continued the investigation. He knew that Lorelei would eventually understand. It may be longer than what he expected, but it’s fine. For as long as he was able to find justice for Sylvester’s death… on his own.

He couldn’t let his organization do all the work, he can’t just sit there and wait for the result. He also has to work on it in order for him to be satisfied.

About an hour ago, Paxton with Ryker has been waiting for the police guard who has been guarding the cells where Sylvester was imprisoned. They didn’t know when he will get off work but they got information that he’s at day shift just last week. So they waited until eight in the evening. It’s already nine and he still hasn’t gone out of the police station.

“Do you think he has already gone home?” Ryker asked.

“I didn’t know…” he replied. “Let’s wait thirty more minutes—”
