“If there’s something I will not forget about you, that is you don’t really consider anyone as your friend,” Damascus said. His body and leg armor was completed and the helmet was starting to form from his neck upwards.

“Are you reminiscing right now?” Jake asked while looking back at his old friend. “It doesn’t suit you.”

Damascus chuckled. “I don’t know. But I just want to tell you. One of your weaknesses. Yes, you’re strong. But if you tend to do things on your own, there will be a bigger possibility that you lose.”

Jake didn’t answer. He just gritted his teeth as he looked at Damascus. He could not deny what his friend told him. He would rather do things on his own. Even with Thalara and Damascus on his side before, he would still choose to do what he decided to do on his own.
