All the resentment faded away. Ethan Blackwood was engulfed in darkness, while Jasmine was his only light. Just then, Jasmine and Beatrice returned.

"I can't believe Morgan came to deliver the financing contract. I thought our company was going under for sure, but it turns out there's still hope! By the way, why did Morgan come to deliver the contract? Does he have a crush on you?" Beatrice's laughter filled the air.

However, when they walked in and saw Ethan, her expression instantly turned cold. "Ethan, you useless waste! What are you still doing here? Didn't my sister tell you to pack your things and get out?"

"Oh, and Ethan, I forgot to mention that my daughter has come to her senses. She packed your stuff last night, so hurry up and leave. A toad like you thinking you can have a swan? Ha!" At that moment, Salome came up from downstairs and chimed in sharply.

They had wanted Ethan gone for a long time. From the very beginning, they had never agreed to him being part of their lives. But Jasmine had taken matters into her own hands and rushed into getting a marriage certificate with him.

They wanted Jasmine to get a divorce, but Jasmine was unwilling, which is why it had dragged on until now.

However, this time might be different. Jasmine was packing her things for Ethan and had even bought a train ticket. This meant one thing: Jasmine had decided to kick Ethan out, and that made them very happy.

They were practically jumping for joy. They even felt like celebrating. Beatrice spotted her mother and hurried over, excitedly saying, "Mom, I have to tell you, my sister has caught the eye of Morgan!"

"Morgan? Which Morgan?" Salome asked, taken aback.

"Oh come on, which Morgan could it be? It's , the eldest son of the Moore family from Panama City! Have you forgotten him? He's the tall, handsome one with charm and culture double master's degrees! Yes, that one! Remember when our company faced financing difficulties? He came personally to help us out. That means something, right? He was especially polite to my sister!"

"And the most important thing is that he invited us to attend the business conference hosted by the Moore family the day after tomorrow. You have to understand, the Moore family is one of the top families in Panama City.

Their conferences are attended by major families. Our dad left us a small company; we rarely get opportunities like this. Plus, he hinted at wanting to collaborate with our Thompson family."

"Isn't that a sign that he likes my sister and wants to pursue her?" Beatrice exclaimed excitedly.

The Moore family!

They were not a small family like theirs. And the guy was tall and handsome. Wanting to collaborate with their family clearly meant he had feelings for her sister. What else could it be? In reality, Morgan Moore personally delivered the contract because he valued Ethan Blackwood.

As for the upcoming conference and collaboration, that was indeed true, but it was also a gesture of goodwill from him to Ethan, showing their respect for him. However, Beatrice clearly misunderstood, and this only made Salome even more excited, nearly jumping out of her seat.

"Really? No wonder Jasmine packed up that loser's things last night. She must have gotten involved with the Moore family!

The Moore family!

Morgan Moore!

I know that guy; this is amazing! Beatrice finally came to her senses!" Then she turned her gaze to Ethan Blackwood." Deaf and mute, why aren't you moving? I've already packed everything up for you. Don't you get what this means? If you don't act soon, I'll just throw it all out. " Salome was about to take action, but Jasmine stopped her.

"Mom, it's not what you think." Jasmine pulled Salome aside.

"Mom, don't listen to Beatrice's nonsense. This is my first time meeting Morgan Moore. There's nothing going on. This is just a normal business collaboration."

"Normal business collaboration? Then tell me, why would the eldest son of the Moore family, the young master, send you a financing contract and invite you to their business conference? Why would he want to collaborate with you out of all the people available? Can you explain that, sis?" Beatrice interjected, hands on her hips.

"Well.." Jasmine was suddenly at a loss for words. Because she couldn't figure it out herself. She had been pondering this all the way here without any answers.

Just then, a thought struck Jasmine. She turned to look at Ethan Blackwood, but then quickly turned back, thinking to herself that she must have lost her mind.

She actually thought it was Ethan who did it. But who was Ethan Blackwood, anyway? And what about Morgan? She and Morgan were from entirely different worlds, let alone Ethan Blackwood.

"Hey, sis, you were about to say it was Ethan Blackwood, right? Ha! No way. Let me make this clear: that loser can't accomplish anything. You're still hesitating? Last night, I told her you were in trouble, and what did he do? He went out and partied all night instead of coming back. A man like that..." Beatrice continued.

"He went to save me." Suddenly, Jasmine interrupted her.

"Wha... what?" Beatrice was taken aback, looking at Jasmine. "You mean that loser went to save you?"

"Beatrice, don't say it like that. What loser? You should call him brother-in-law. It was Ethan who came to save me last night." Jasmine replied.

Things had been so urgent last night that she hadn't had the chance to explain. Beatrice was momentarily speechless, caught off guard. Just a moment ago, she had boasted that it was impossible, absolutely impossible, but now her own sister had just contradicted her.

Her face turned bright red. She felt slapped in the face. Finally, she could only mumble, "What do you mean 'brother-in-law'? I won't call this guy my brother-in-law. What has he done to deserve that? | think my brother-in-law should at least.."

"Hey, you inside! My son, pay up!" Suddenly, a loud commotion erupted outside.

This made Salome furious. "Ethan Blackwood, your precious parents are out there yelling again. They are your parents, so deal with it! Get them out of here! And by the way, our Thompson family won't pay a single cent!" Salome was fuming.

The shouting outside grew louder. "Ethan, you can use your money. Don't you have a bank card?" At that moment, Jasmine pointed to a bank card on the table. It was the one she had left for Ethan Blackwood.

There was seventy thousand dollars on it. It was meant for Ethan to leave this city and start fresh somewhere else. "This kid has money? You didn't give it to him, did you?" Salome eyed Jasmine suspiciously.

"It's nothing, just his money-it's his salary from these past years," Jasmine said with a serious expression.

Sometimes, it's just fate! Since this guy wouldn't listen to reason, Ethan Blackwood decided not to insist any further. Before long, they arrived at the restaurant. Shine Restaurant. It was clearly a high-end establishment, located right in the commercial center, with lavish decor and an elegant atmosphere. There was even a hostess at the entrance to greet guests. Ethan rode up on his little bike, and as he parked it to the side, the hostess naturally took notice. He walked toward the entrance. "Sir, I think you might be in the wrong place," the hostess said politely. "I'm not in the wrong place. This is Shine Restaurant," Ethan replied, glancing around to confirm he was indeed at the right spot. However, he was soon blocked by two security guards, called over by the hostess. She took a look at Ethan, especially at his worn-out jeans that were faded from washing, and a hint of mockery flashed in her eyes. Crossing her arms, she said, "Sir, we don't welcome people dressed

After walking a short distance, Ethan Blackwood turned back and asked, "Why haven't you left yet?" The person behind him was none other than Holland Brigg's. Brigg's face was covered in blood, and his left arm hung limply, held up by his other hand. He looked quite terrifying, causing passersby to jump in shock as he walked by. "What's going on here?" "Bro... Ethan, I'm your little brother, aren't I supposed to stick with you?" Brigg's said with a goofy grin. "Ethan, I know I can be reckless sometimes, but I understand the rules. You saved my master, and I said l'd be your little brother, so I'm definitely your little brother now. Whatever you say goes." Brigg's continued, his stubborn nature shining through. Once he had accepted Ethan as his big brother, there was no turning back. "Do you do everything I say?" "Absolutely." "Then go back and let those three old guys check your injuries. Their skills are better than most doctors in Panama City." Ethan gestured. "Alri

The Main Thirteen Needles-this technique was buried deep in their memories. Among them, there were practitioners of both traditional medicine and Western medicine, as well as those who were skilled in both. However, when they heard about the Main Thirteen Needles, they were all taken aback. This was a technique recorded in ancient texts that had long been lost to time. It was something their master's master had once spoken of. Once the needles were inserted, if one looked closely, they could vaguely see the character "Main" emerging. The Main needles seemed to work as one, guiding the body and blood to flow along this character, beginning to revive. The blood started to surge. Suddenly, Adrian Jackson spat out a mouthful of blood black blood, pure black, clearly indicating stagnant blood. Afterward, Adrian's expression relaxed. He no longer felt the discomfort he had before. "This... this is how the stagnant blood was forced Out!" The three elderly men stood frozen in p

"What!" Holland Brigg's, who was on the ground nursing his hand with a look of despair and anger, suddenly heard those words. His expression changed dramatically as he struggled to get up and looked at Ethan Blackwood. "Are you serious?"Ethan Blackwood didn't want to explain himself. In the next moment, Briggs realized that it was likely true. This guy had the ability to heal his master. After all, Liam had been cured by him. If he could heal his master, then he could save him. But instead, he was here causing trouble. "Mr. Ethan, I, Holland Brigg's, was wrong this time. Please, Mr. Ethan, don't hold it against me. Just punish me; my actions have nothing to do with my master. Do whatever you want with me. Please, you have to save my master." With a thud, Brigg's dropped to his knees in front of Ethan, bowing his head in apology. Bang! Bang! Bang! The ground shook with the sound of Briggs forehead hitting the floor, a visible blood mark appearing on his skin. Ethan B

What! The Moore family members were taken aback. "How dare he, Briggs!" Liam slammed his hand on the table in frustration. Uncle Adrian, also known as Adrian Jackson, who was still nursing his serious injuries nearby, looked equally confused. Why was his disciple here? Just then, a furious voice rang out from the doorway: "Liam Moore, you old fool! I heard my master was seriously injured, and yet you had the audacity to invite that injured person into the Moore family and even host a banquet for him!" With each word filled with anger, a group of men dressed in white martial arts uniforms entered, led by a middle-aged man brimming with vitality. His fists looked incredibly powerful, capable of easly taking down a professional security guard with just a few strikes. Surrounding him were a dozen or so men, clearly his disciples, who followed him in. Bang! After kicking a security guard aside, Briggs Holland turned to Liam and said, "Liam Moore." "What do you mean, Ho

"I have feelings for you, but even though we've been living together for four years, it's really just the beginning, isn't it? I want to give you a chance. I think, over time, I will truly come to like you, but not right now." "This angel heart necklace... I think I should keep it for now. I don't want you giving it to another woman. If one day I really do fall for you, then l'll wear this necklace and show up in front of you. How does that sound Jasmine peeked out, her eyes sparkling with a hint of hope as she asked. "Sounds good," Ethan nodded, though a pang of pain shot through his heart. He understood the reason behind her hesitation. Jasmine had lost her father in a car accident during college, making her the eldest in her family. She had always acted maturely. She had focused on her business studies and had never been close to any other boys. Perhaps he was the first. Because of that, she was inexperienced in this area, and at that moment, the powerful CEO felt like a li
