The assistant quickly snapped out of her shock and hurriedly retrieved a set of forms from a nearby drawer. "Mr. Steel, please fill these out to finalize the process," she said, her tone much more respectful now.

Elijah nodded, took the forms, and began to fill them out with his usual calm demeanor. Robert and the assistant exchanged glances, still unable to fully process what had just happened.

When Elijah finished, he handed the completed forms back to the assistant. She double-checked them, nodding in approval. “Everything’s perfect, Mr. Steel,” she said with a smile.

Robert stepped forward with a small, elegant box. "Congratulations on your new villa, Mr. Steel," he said warmly, opening the box to reveal a set of sleek, modern keys and two automatic door cards.

“These are your house keys and the door access cards,” Robert explained. “The cards are programmed to open all entry points in the villa, including the garage. If you need additional keys or cards for family or staff, ju

“If I keep on, I’ll keep beating everyone you bring. Let this go — you’re not my match. The entire Halden family can’t stand me,” Elijah said boldly.Everyone frowned. The air went cold. Edmund’s face hardened. “How dare you?” he snapped. “The entire martial Halden family can’t stand you? You’ve got skills, yes — but will those skills work on my grandchildren and the others?” He looked at Lucian. “Beat him.”Lucian charged hard, face red with rage. He moved fast and wild, a flurry of punches and kicks aimed at Elijah.Elijah did not strike back. He only watched. Each blow Lucian threw met a calm block. Elijah’s arms moved like a wall. He caught a kick, shrugged it off. He parried a punch and stepped aside. Lucian’s speed burned his breath, but Elijah stayed steady. The crowd watched in stunned silence. Lucian’s attacks grew faster, more desperate. Sweat ran down his brow. His legs trembled.Elijah only laughed, calm and small. “Bring someone stronger,” he said, almost teasing.Lucian’

Edmund raised a hand. “Wait,” he said, voice low but firm. He stepped forward until he stood a few paces from Elijah and looked down at him. “So you are the one who dared insult my Halden family? How dare you?”Elijah said nothing at first. He kept his eyes moving around the hall, calm but not afraid.Aurora dad cut in, voice loud. “Why was only he brought here, Father? If he insults the Haldens, shouldn’t his whole bloodline be punished?”Murmurs ran through the room. “Yes,” some of the family agreed. “Yes.”Elijah’s face tightened. Anger rose in him — not wild, but sharp. He looked straight at the gathered Halden faces. “If you have a problem with me,” he said clearly, “then face me. Why drag innocent people into this? What have their bloodlines done to you?”A hush fell. The question hung in the air.Geneva stepped forward, eyes flashing. “Shut your mouth!” she snapped, voice full of venom. “How dare you talk back to our house? Have you forgotten where you stand?”Elijah laughed on

Jessica’s face was wet with tears. Her sobs came soft and fast as she clutched at her shirt.Shadow glared at her, voice sharp. “What’s wrong with you? Why are you crying? You only just met him yesterday — what is this nonsense?”Jessica didn’t answer. She spun on her heel, anger and fear mixing, and stormed back into the house before anyone could say more. The car doors closed with a hard click. Finally, Shadow turned to him. “You know that underling of yours is a troublemaker, right? Why did you even bring him here? You want the Halden family to kill all of us?!”Phantom’s voice was calm, quiet, but firm. “Come off it. Elijah can handle himself.”“Handle himself?” Shadow snapped. “You don’t know what you’re talking about. This is the Halden family we’re talking about — a martial arts dynasty! You think he can face them alone? Are you joking?”Phantom only gave a faint smile. “I trust Elijah.”Shadow stared at him in disbelief. “You’ll regret that trust if he doesn’t return.”Meanwhi

Chapter 461Jessica’s heart jumped at his words. “You can’t mean that… you’re going to them?”“Yes,” Elijah replied simply. “I’ll go to their home. I want to meet their patriarch.”Jessica’s voice trembled as she stepped closer to Elijah, eyes filled with worry.“Elijah, please don’t go,” she said desperately, gripping his arm tightly. “You don’t understand — the Halden family doesn’t listen, they punish. If you walk into their home, they won’t even let you explain yourself.”Elijah turned his calm gaze toward her, the faintest smile playing on his lips. “Jessica, it’s alright,” he said softly. “I’m not going there to fight them. I’ll just apologize, settle things peacefully, and come back. Don’t worry so much.”She shook her head quickly, her voice rising slightly. “No, you can’t just walk in there and talk your way out! You’re not dealing with ordinary people, Elijah — they’re dangerous! Please, don’t go.”Elijah sighed gently and rested his hand on her shoulder. “If I don’t go, the

Phantom stared at Elijah as if trying to confirm he’d heard right.Lucian gave a smug half-smile. “Finally, he admits it,” he said coldly.Aurora’s expression didn’t change, but her tone carried venom. “And for that offense,” she said, “your presence here brings ruin upon anyone foolish enough to shelter you.”Elijah stood tall, unflinching, his gaze meeting hers. “Then I guess I’ll have to protect them,” he said quietly. “And make sure your threats end here.”Phantom’s breath caught as realization hit him like a punch.“Elijah…” he muttered under his breath, eyes widening. It all made sense now. Months ago, Elijah had casually asked him about the Halden family—their influence, their reach, their strength. Phantom had thought it was just curiosity, a harmless question. He’d told him then how the Haldens were not just powerful in Ironvale, but respected and feared across multiple cities. He’d warned him never to cross them. But he had no idea Elijah already had. Now, standing there in
