“I…” The Doctor stuttered, and then he swallowed hard.

“I never said children, Mr. Ethan.” He lied with a shaky voice, but ended up making Ethan more angry than he already was.

“I am not going to ask nicely again, Doctor! Tell me what I want to know! Answer the question that I asked you!”

“That’s the truth, Mr. Ethan!” The Doctor insisted, shaking profusely.

“Maybe you heard me wrongly. Are you sure that your ears are okay?”

“There is nothing wrong with my ears!” Ethan grunted, grabbing the Doctor by the collar of his shirt.

He pulled him out of the chair, forcing him to stand.

“I would really hate to beat you up, Doctor. Tell me the truth or I will throw a punch to your face,” He threatened, causing the Doctor to gulp hard for the third time.

Ethan eventually stopped striking the old man, leaving him weakened with blood all over his face. Smith wanted to ignore the sensation that gripped him, but it was too intense for him to overlook.Without knowing it, he was already staggering backward, his breath seeming like it no longer belonged to him. “The money no longer belongs to you, Ethan! It is mine now!” He retorted, his voice reeking of arrogance and desperation, his eyes sparking with disdain. “I suggest you go back to wherever you are coming from before you make me angrier than I am.” The old man added, leaving Reese dumbfounded. Reese couldn’t get himself to say even a word. He nervously bent his face to the table, refusing to lift it no matter the pressure. Smith was still insistent on getting a response from him, turning to face him with a glare.“How could you bring him to this place, Reese? You have betrayed me!” He clenched his fist tightly, but he did not want to be told that the young man was going to defeat him effortlessly in a fair fight. “I am here on my own accord, Smith.” Ethan finally broke his silence, slowing his steps while he held onto his wry smile. This unplanned occurrence had left Jake wondering what was going on, and sensing the increasing tension in the air, he was forced to rise from the chair, turning to the old man who was the only one he knew among the three men. “What the hell is going on, Smith? Who is this man?” He pointed to Ethan while his eyes were still on the old man, demanding an immediate response. “Don’t worry, my friend.” Smith took a deep breath while he moved hi

Do it now!” He ordered and Reese obeyed without arguing, pushing the button by the side of the phone. Are you there?” Smith called out, forcing Reese to regain his composure. “I am here, Smith.” Reese cleared his throat, and then he looked at the phone, taking a deep breath. “What is it, Smith? Why are you calling?” He asked, but it took a couple of seconds before he could get a response from the old man.“Are you seriously asking me that, Reese?” Smith grunted in annoyance, and then he took a deep breath. “We are supposed to be going to meet with the guy who will help us with the fake passports. He is on his way to us, and I need you to come out now.
