"What!" Eddie’s eyes widened in shock. "That’s not possible! I never…."

"Enough!" Dr. Charles interrupted, slamming a hand on the table. "This institution has no room for such behavior. We are deliberating your suspension pending a full investigation."

"I'm sure Nathan San Roman made Eunice's family do this, I'm sure." Eddie bit his upper lip as he thought to himself, the scenes from the previous night creeping back into his head.

"But, sir. I didn't…." Before Eddie could protest further, the phone on Dr. Charles's Desk buzzed.

He frowned, annoyed at the interruption. "Who is it?"

"It’s a private call, sir," his secretary whispered. "The caller is insisting."

Dr. Charles sighed and picked up the receiver. "This is not the time…"

His expression shifted immediately, his face paling as he listened.

"Who… who is this?" he stammered, his tone suddenly meek.

The voice on the other end was calm but chilling.

"Good morning, Mister Chancellor. I understand you’re about to make a significant decision regarding a certain student, Eddie Celestial."

Dr. Charles Eyes darted to Eddie, his grip on the phone tightening. "Who are you?"

"That’s irrelevant," the voice replied smoothly. "What’s relevant is that if you proceed with this decision, you and every member of your panel will find yourselves unemployed and unhirable by tomorrow morning. I will make sure you stay unemployed till the day you die and the institution itself will also face consequences you can’t imagine. But please, go ahead if you feel strongly about your judgment."

The line went dead.

Dr. Charles’hands trembled as he placed the receiver back down. He exchanged nervous glances with the panel members.

"Sir, is everything alright?" his secretary asked.

Dr. Charles cleared his throat, forcing composure. "The session is adjourned. Eddie, you may leave. We’ll contact you once we’ve reached a decision."

Eddie stared at her, baffled. "But I…."

"That’s all, Eddie!" she snapped, her tone sharp but unsteady.

Eddie hesitated but eventually rose and left the room, his mind swirling with confusion.

The panel sat in stunned silence.

"Who was that?" one of them asked Dr.Charles, the chancellor nervously.

Dr. Charles shook his head. "I don’t know, but…, we need to be very careful about that boy."

As Eddie exited the office, he noticed the campus security officers outside looking equally confused; they were awaiting an order to throw Eddie out of the school premises.

Eddie's mind was still racing so he didn't think much of it, but a small part of him felt relieved.

"Time is far spent, I definitely can't make the VC’s class now." Eddie thought to himself. "It's better to go to the Accorf 7-star hotel from here."

He waved down a taxi and paid the driver from the money Damien Aviatux gave him.

After what felt like an eternity, the taxi came to a halt outside a towering building.

"Mister, you've arrived at your destination." The driver said, respectfully.

Eddie nodded and stepped out of the car. He looked up and saw the name "ACCORF" emblazoned in gold letters above the entrance.

"What?"

His eyes widened in shock as he stared at the golden-emblazoned letters. He had heard of Accorf, the only 7-star hotel in Aveston, but had never been inside.

He couldn't believe what was happening. Why would the richest person in the country want him to come to the most luxurious hotel in Aveston?

Eddie was so lost in the admiration of the building's crystal exteriors that he didn't notice Skarr come towards him.

Bowing slightly, Skarr muttered, "Master Eddie, kindly come with me."

The shadow of someone in Eddie's presence suddenly jolted him out of his thoughts.

"Errrmmm…good morning, sir." Eddie stammered the thoughts of being confronted by Skarr pressuring him. "Sir Damien told me…"

"It's okay, young master. Please, follow me inside." Skarr said, bowing again.

"Why is he behaving strangely today?" Eddie thought. "Last night, he wasn't as accommodating as this. Maybe this is how they bow to about-to-be employed staff." Eddie chuckled as he fantasized.

He nodded slightly and followed Skarr. As they walked through the lobby, Eddie's eyes widened in amazement.

Everything was so grand and lavish, from the marble floors beneath his feet to the chandeliers hanging from the ceilings.

Skarr led Eddie to a private elevator that opened directly into an exclusive spacious office.

The doors slid open, and Eddie stepped inside to find himself in a sprawling, opulent office that seemed to float above the city.

The first thing that caught his eye was the breathtaking view…the entire far wall was made of glass, offering a panoramic view of Aveston's skyline.

The sunlit city stretched endlessly, with its bustling streets, glistening skyscrapers, and sprawling parks all visible from this perch high above the world.

The office itself was a masterpiece of luxury and modern design. The floors were polished black marble, their sleek surface reflecting the natural light pouring in through the glass.

A massive desk, carved from dark mahogany and polished to perfection, stood near the window.

Behind it was a high-backed leather chair, its design exuding authority and grandeur.

The desk was spotless, save for a single tablet and a sleek metallic sculpture of an eagle mid-flight.

The seating area was equally impressive, with plush leather sofas arranged around a glass coffee table.

On the table was a vase of fresh white roses, their delicate fragrance subtly filling the air. To the side, a built-in bar sparkled with crystal decanters filled with what Eddie could only assume were the finest spirits money could buy.

A wall-mounted screen displayed calming visuals of cascading waterfalls, blending seamlessly with the serene atmosphere.

Skarr gestured for Eddie to sit in one of the plush chairs by the desk.

"Sir Damien will join you shortly," he said, his voice shaky as he began to pour into glasses, expensive wine.

"Ok, I’ll wait then." Eddie nodded as he picked up the expensive glass of wine and started drinking, his heart pounding as he sank into the luxurious chair.

Everything about the room screamed power and influence, and he couldn't help but feel small and out of place.

As Eddie waited, he gazed out over the city, his mind racing with questions. What could someone as powerful as Damien Aviatux possibly want with him?

Suddenly, the door in the room opened, and Damien Aviatux walked in. He was impeccably dressed in a sleek butter-colored suit, with his hair neatly combed back.

As he walked in, three men followed behind him, each holding a gun.

Skarr immediately bowed his head as Damien approached.

"Son," Damien called out in a deep, commanding voice. "I’ve been expecting you."

Skarr pressed the doorbell in front of Eddie’s room, and Eddie responded from inside. "Chill, Skarr. I know the perfect time to leave for school," Eddie groaned as he opened the door and stepped out. "I'm sorry for being too forward, Master," Skarr said, bowing slightly as he gestured toward the hallway. Eddie took the lead, and Skarr followed closely behind.
