“Gossshhhh!” Kevin couldn't control the glimmer in his eyes.

He never expected Camilla to say something like that. When he took a closer look at her, he noticed she had a different kind of beauty compared to Ivy.

She was slimmer in figure, with fuller boobs and hips, long straight hair, and a face that looked incredibly smooth. Her skin had a radiant, well-cared-for glow, as though she had undergone some luxurious treatment. She carried a captivating charm that could easily draw men in.

“Why are you so surprised?” Camilla laughed loudly, her breast rising with each breath as she watched Kevin’s expression. Her presence carried a distracting, alluring scent that briefly clouded his focus.

Kevin struggled to look away from her striking figure, finding it increasingly difficult not to stare. The longer he looked, the more unsettling his reaction became, he felt strangely drawn in.

“Let's not rush into that.” Kevin said being a man of principle. He didn't want to be seen as just coming into Camilla's life and beginning with sex. No matter how many times he saved her, that didn't prompt him to want to fuck her right away.

In her quest to walk away, she feigned a stumble in an angle Kevin's hand would reach her intimate body part. She was so swift Kevin couldn't detect. He rushed to grab her and his hands fell on her soft ass.

The delight on her face was indescribable, only then did he suspect but she had achieved her dream.

“Your wife kicked you out and you've got no place to be and you won't marry me yet, be my escort.” She smilingly asked.

It was an offer Kevin couldn't decline. Yes, he needed a woman who wasn't ashamed of being with a poor man and it seemed Camilla was the one.

He agreed. “Okay. But not forever. According to my timeline.” He said firmly. Not even her dad or she, herself could distract him off his goal. He's a man, she would come live with him.

Their first public appearance together was the following day.

It was a party at the Ferida Event Center, the most luxurious event auditorium in the entire state, attended by the elites.

The auditorium looked like paradise on earth, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a nearby park, with rare aquatic flowers carefully arranged in water vases in strategic areas. There was even an artificial lake and a fountain that sprayed water in shifting colors.

A white Mercedes-Benz came to a stop at the entrance of the hall. A stunning woman stepped out, dressed in an elegant black evening gown. Her skin looked perfect, and her long, attractive sexy legs drew attention instantly.

Her refined beauty caught the eyes of many guests already seated, causing heads to turn in her direction. People began admiring the elegance of her movements as she walked.

“What a beautiful woman! Is she a well-known model?” some visitors from other states asked.

“No, she’s the Chief Auditor of the State!” The locals answered.

“Her face and body are truly unreal!” they added in admiration.

“She’s considered one of the three most beautiful women in the entire state!” one of the men said.

People gathered at the entrance murmured quietly, amazed by Ivy’s beauty. Still, no one dared to approach or introduce themselves, as her grace and composed demeanor made her seem untouchable.

Ivy walked over and joined her love interest, Alan, along with her best friend, Alexis, who had arrived earlier. After exchanging polite greetings, they began talking.

“I’ve heard the Verizon Group has been shortlisted as a potential partner of the Basilio family. Getting into a partnership with such a powerful organization is no easy task, especially for Verizon Group.

That’s why I came here, to speak in your favor. It should increase your chances of securing a contract with the Basilio family, alongside your position as CAS!”

Alan said proudly, his tone full of confidence.

The Verizon Group was the company backing the CAS. It was customary for a successful corporation to sponsor a promising political figure as they rose into office.

“That would be wonderful! Thank you, Mr. Alan!” Alexis said happily on behalf of her boss.

If the Verizon Group successfully formed a direct alliance with the Basilio family, it would not only greatly enhance the company’s reputation, but also significantly strengthen Ivy’s standing as the CAS.

It could even position her for a higher appointment in the State or in the business world.

“You’re welcome. Considering my relationship with Ivy,” he said, giving her a playful wink, “this is no trouble at all.” He followed it with a knowing smile directed at her.

“Of course, you two are in love,” Alexis replied with a light, matching smile.

Ivy, however, was no longer fully present in the conversation. Her attention had drifted toward a luxury car parked in the distance. A man she recognized stood beside it.

“Could that really be Kevin?”

At last, Ivy realized who the man was. Her gang had failed and she knew Kevin was definitely gonna plan revenge. Her mind drifted apart. She began to wonder what would happen should he see her.

A little voice prompted her to meet him first. Without wasting time, she made her way toward him.

“Kevin!”

Ivy was about to speak again when she suddenly froze mid-step. Her attention shifted to a captivating woman standing beside Kevin. The lady wore a tight, blazing red dress that emphasized her slim waist and beautifully shaped curves.

Camilla Basilio.

She carried herself like a queen, not even her widespread beauty could contest with Camilla's.

“I have always known you to be my twin, Freya. We might not be related by blood but we think alike and all. Do you know I said that to him earlier?” Camilla choked with emotion.“That’s because our hearts have always belonged to us you know. Camilla, I really hope your happiness lasts forever. Congratulations again. And yes, I think we need to start preparing. Please tell me what to do and I'll get it done.” Freya muttered in happiness.“Right I thought the same but Kevin seems like he doesn't want me bothering about that. Or I guess I need to talk to him about the preparations, you know.” Camilla replied as she thought it through.Kevin’s words rang in her ears again and somehow she started to convince herself that really he didn't need her worrying about the preparations. She planned to ask him later though.“No problems Camilla. Doesn't matter if it's midnight. If you need me for anything that's related to the wedding, please ring my phone.” Freya told her regardless. “Gotcha darl

After my last relationship that was ruined by Marco, I decided to stop doing this. But it's because this was the last thing I did with him. He loves barbecue a whole lot.” Camilla muttered. “But now I feel like I can. Kevin is too much for him, I guess. And this husband of mine has healed me from a whole lot.” “That monster really did a lot. But it's fine. You have me and nothing will happen to either of us henceforth.” she replied to her and coughed to lighten the atmosphere. “I'll help you. Look Camilla, you better not give a sad face. I need you looking your best. You need to look your best, do you hear me? I want that smile. That's what gets me smiling hard too.” Camilla nodded and brought out her cut

In the middle of eating, Camilla got up to take her phone then she texted Freya White. After eating, she cleaned up for the day and then made her way to the pool to let the morning sun touch her skin. She was still on that when she heard Freya’s presence. She turned and watched as her friend jumped towards her. Camilla got out of the pool and hugged Freya very tight. “You didn't plan to be somewhere today?” she asked her.She knew Freya well enough that she barely let her morning go that easily. “Well I did but it's nothing serious so I can definitely answer you. Actually, work has been so boring these days. Same routine over and over again. What about you?” she asked Camilla.“I'll be working from home today,” she replied to her. “After all, there's really nothing serious to attend to at the office, and by the way it's been very boring too. Thankfully I'm no longer single to deal with that alone. Honestly Freya, I really think you should say yes to someone. That way we will both get

“Can we hold a wedding to honor our marriage?” Kevin suddenly uttered. Even he had no idea how and when it slipped. After he recovered, he continued. “Actually I want to give you a high-profile wedding Camilla. One that you deserve and it will be fully sponsored by me. If you give me a go-ahead, I'll make that happen for us.”Camilla sat there, stunned to her bones. Knowing his financial capacity, she never thought that could be possible for her in this marriage and in actual fact, she never had a problem with it. But hearing him bring it up like this, she felt that girlishness in her move. Her excitement was bubbling. “Really Kevin? You want us to get married? Like you want us to like actually have a wedding?” she asked. He nodded his head. “I want to give you all the experience you deserve Camilla.”Her palms were on her face this time as she stared at him in surprise. Then he sniffed something in the air. “Is a feast going on? Seems like you have done a lot of wonders.” Camilla laughed. “Wouldn't that be wonderful though? Doing wonders for my husband! Come in please!” She helped him in and took his bag away from him. They got into the room and without another word, Camilla started helping him pull off his clothes. Kevin couldn't stop himself from staring into her eyes as she did her thing. “I’m impressed with your journey and I’m very happy because my grandson found a true soulmate!” His grandfather’s voice resounded in his ears again as he stared at her.His heart filled with joy. “I just wanted to be sure that my daughter is fine and everything is cool. You haven't called me even once to complain, child. Remember when you started working for the first time, though everyone knew better to behave well around you, you still called me for personal complaints. But ever since you married you haven't called to complain, not even about the little stress you might be facing in the marriage child.” he said to her.Camilla almost busted out laughing. “Father!” she cracked a bit. “Okay well, that's because he isn't bothering me you know. He's very peaceful and gives me all the comfort I need.” she muttered with smiles reaching her soul. “I can see that. I never expected that though. You know when you marry a man not as elite as you, most times it turns tragic. I know Kevin has shown me he's not like that, but I still have to check on you from time to time. You have to promise me that if it ever gets tough you will tell your father.” he told her, his eyes very affectionat
