Chapter 37: Trust Fund Baby

Steven got out of the car next after Mathew and Jason couldn't help as his mouth hung open.

“Jason, are you even listening to me?” Barbie asked with a pout which drew Jason's attention back to her.

“Yeah, I'm sorry but can I ask you something?”

“Yeah, of course you can.”

“Has that always been Mathew's car? Like is this the one he's always been driving?” Jason questioned.

“Well that's a random question.” Barbie commented.

“Barbie….”

“Yeah, that's his car. He got it early this year when the semester started.” Barbie replied.

“Are you sure?” Jason asked her.

“Yeah, is something wrong?” Barbie asked.

“That car tried to hit me on Monday.” Jason told her.

Barbie's eyes widened like saucers.

“Are you sure?” She asked.

“Yeah, it was after I walked you to your car, pretty much everyone was gone. It tried to knock me down. It almost did.”

“Oh my God, Mathew!” Barbie shouted marching at him.

“Barbie, don't!” Jason hissed, pulling her back.

“Why not? He could have killed you!” She shouted, her
