CHAPTER SIXTY
Jason sat in the middle of my living room, waiting for Otis to come pick him up so they could both go clubbing.Staying in was messing with his mind and he kept thinking about Lisa and how hurt she'd looked when he'd practically insinuated that he would be sleeping with Miss Ashton.He felt bad about his choice of words and actions and he'd felt like this since he left the office. He'd seen her living with Daniel and he'd gotten pissed momentarily but had instantly gotten over it.He knew that Daniel wasn't a threat. She had a boyfriend after all, one he hated with a raging passion.The doorbell rang and Jason stood up and went to answer it, holding up his hand to stop the maid that was about to.He opened the door and frowned when he saw who was at the door.Celia Daniels."What the hell are you doing here?" Jason growled, glaring at her with hatred in his eyes.He couldn't believe her audacity coming to his house after what she had done to destroy his friendship with her husband.

Jason eyes bored into Lisa's head as they rode the elevator up to the twentieth floor.Seeing Lisa with hier boyfriend made him upset not because he liked her but because he didn't think he was good enough for her, at least that was what he told himself. The truth was that he was jealous not to mention confused as to when she found herself a boyfriend. Just yesterday, she was dancing in the park with him and now she had gotten herself a boyfriend?He not only didn't like him, He thought he was an asshole with a the personality of a street urchin. The smell of coffee, lattes and french fries invaded Jason's nostrils causing his stomach to growl out in anticipation as he stepped into McDonald's.The place was sparsely packed. On one side of the hall were a bunch of highschoolers talking loudly and playing music and on the other side were a few working class men and women, some eating alone, others eating with one or more people.As his eyes continued to scan the place, they landed on a familiar frame.Lisa.Jason raised a confused eyebrow and shook his head in amusement until he noticed the man that was seated across from her.A frown crossed his features when he realized who the man was.Without thinking his actions through, he walked up to them and offered a smile and called out Lisa by her name. Jason hopped in his car as soon as he left Lisa's house and drove home.For some reason he was angry at her for not telling him about her boyfriend. He also felt embarrassed.This had to be the worst Christmas ever.First, it was William and Celia and then Lisa.Deciding not to dwell on either situation, he plugged in his aux and began to play some Christmas music.Jason got home to an empty house.
