The stadium buzzed like a living heart. The roar echoed across the streets of Philadelphia. Lights strobed, smoke cannons hissed, and banners of MACE KING were all over from one end of the arena to the other. Jaylen stood at the tunnel entrance. His palms was clammy and every cheer sounded like a war against him.

The system pinged, “System Alert: Stage Hostile. Morale -37%. Enemy Influence: Dominant. Objective: Survive or Conquer.”

The message etched across his vision. Jaylen exhaled, whispering under his breath, “I didn’t come this far to fold.”

Mace King came out first. A tall figure in a custom fur coat with gold chains clanking on his chest like trophies. His bodyguards of twenty stomped behind him, hyping the crowd with chants of “PHILLY KING!” The audience responded in a frenzy, stepping on the bleachers, waving homemade signs.
