It felt like the world was in total darkness as the moon hid behind the dark cloud, the once gentle breeze suddenly felt bone-chilling and uncomfortable to the humans, and the roads beside the hotel were filled with abandoned cars as everyone fled with horror and despair written on their face, the beasts punch on each human they sight with killing intent on their faces, the sounds of flesh getting rib off and voice of cries filled with agony reverberate throughout the whole place.

Crimson felt sick and almost puke his intestines out from seeing such scenes.

The once sweet scent of flowers and fresh street foods suddenly becomes filled with a metallic and bloody smell.

{This..is..is happening? It's not a dream? How will I survive? What will I do if Grandma abandoned me as everyone did? Am I destined to die abandoned by the world?}

Those were the thought that flashed through Crimson's head as he look at the scene with a sickly and pale face.

"Everyone!!!, If you are an awakener from intermediate upward come and join us to fight if you wanna have a slim chance of survival!!!" Granny's voice boomed and echo throughout the place, most people agreed with her and rush out despite feeling fearful, Crimson spotted a man leaving his wife and daughter, and although the wife didn't agree after much persuasion, from him, she was reluctant to agree.

"We...we.. can't fight them, why don't we hide and wait for the federation special squad?" A chubby middle-aged man said making everyone look at him with pity, some even shook their head, and one answered him "The shura have jammed the signal making it absurd for those outsides to contact us also they set up a top-tier illusion making it look like nothing is happening from the outside".

"But.. but... can't we all just run? Whoever is lucky to survive will live, there's no chance if we fight them...we...we...will die!" It's like the man suffered a mental breakdown as he sat down and kept mumbling the same word.

Grandma shot him a look of disgust it was like her eyes were implying {you're not worth being a man}, she turn and look at the people who have gathered "Let's act fast and find a way to break out of this place, also I wanna know your abilities to give you better position" Grandma said while looking at them.

"I'm a fire awakener?" someone said,

"I'm an air awakener"

"Me too"

"I'm a strength type awakener"

"I'm a speed type awakener"

"I'm a necromancer"

Everyone mentioned their abilities to which Grandma nodded and looked at the last one, it's the butler of the Borden family, although the butler wanted to stay behind and protect the young miss, he was forced by the young miss to go and fight "we can use this chance to show the world how strong our family is" that was her words.

"I'm a dual awakener, I can control both earth and metal?" he said,

"Wait we don't have a healing mage or awakener here?" Someone raises the question to which everyone glances around,

"I'm a healing type mage" Grandma answered, the butler was confused "Ain't healing type awakener supposed to be in the back?"

"Who told you all the healing mages are not supposed to be a fighter?" Grandma smirked and looked at the destruction happening, suddenly she began to ascend upward to meet the beast and shura.

"Hold on grandma must be a super tier awakener to be able to fly" Crimson was surprised, he looked around and saw four more people the butler was flying upward to.

Suddenly one of the shuras jump down from a flying beast and shot down straight at a young man with his sword held like a spear, the young man with a claim face throw out a fireball toward the shura, but it didn't faze the shura as he chops his sword toward the fire, dark purple energy left his sword and collide with the fireball thereby annihilating it.

Just that moment of distraction the young man size the chance to speed up and close the gap, he hurled a fist toward the shura's chest to which the shura just frown and slash horizontally towards the neck of the young man.

The fist which was blanketed with flames collided with the chest and the flame explode with a strong boom propelling the shura whose sword was about to split the man's neck to be sent lying upward with a speed so rapidly that he collided with some beast causing little disarray "you thought it was the normal flame fist? Huh,s is my family's heritage skill, it penetrates the body and burns you inside out, I'm certain you are feeling some unknown warmth surging in your body now right?" The man said calmly but use his Mana to make his voice louder enough for the shura to hear him, the shura indeed felt the heat it was pure torment to the shura as his bones felt like they were turning to powder, and his blood was in a frenzy as they were all dried up within a second, the masculine shura suddenly look like a lich as his body shivered up and dry, he didn't even have the chance to scream.

"Hey Borden's family butler, you should go down and protect the kids, your ability is perfectly complimented when you're on the ground so stay there," granny told the butler and he also agrees with her point of opinion so he went down.

Granny could be seen levitating on the air while looking at the three dead shuras on the floor, it hasn't been easy for her and the butler to kill these two {and they are just middle class, what will happen when we met the noble or royal?} She thought with a look of worry on her face.

Roar!!!

A tiger-like beast with eagle wings punched her with a frightening speed to which granny compressed the water in her hands into a delicate long whip and slap it at the tiger, it was too late for it to dodge and the whip hit it.

The tiger felt like the wipe just passed through his body and nothing happened, as a low-level beast without much intelligence it ignore it and attempt to attack again only to feel its body falling, from the head down to the tail, it got halved and fall apart onto the ground and turn into a lump of meat, Mitch.

"Grandma!!!" Granny abruptly turn around and caught a sign of a monkey-like beast with sharp claws and teeth running towards Crimson, she turn and condensed water into three sharp little needles which she shot toward the monkey, the monkey didn't even notice it and killed.

Seeing the monkey dead crimson looked at his grandma who smile and flew over to help some people, he felt useless and weak for the first time, it was like he should just die,

{I wish I could be strong, the feeling of running isn't good I want to control my destiny just like the strong does, I don't wanna always scream for help! I want to be the one to help, save the weak and save myself} crimson with grief and despair reflect, then something abruptly pops up in front of his eyes.
