Chapter 40 Gerald's Departure Concerns

Early in the morning, Zack had already woken up and dressed neatly. He then headed to the dining room in the inn.

Zack looked around, both left and right, and it still seemed quiet and dark as the clock showed 6 in the morning.

He chose to sit while playing with his phone, occasionally glancing around.

"She's taking so long to arrive," Zack muttered, starting to get bored waiting for Natasha. "It's the first time in my life waiting for a woman, while with my mom, I can't be bothered to wait for her," Zack continued.

The long wait made Zack bored, and he tousled his hair, which was now starting to look long.

"Is there a problem? You look troubled," Natasha's voice snapped Zack out of his thoughts, and he quickly tidied his hair.

"Hey, Natasha. So, you're already here?"

Instead of answering Natasha's question, Zack didn't respond but asked another question.

Natasha just smiled, hearing Zack's encouraging words. No man had ever been sweet and caring to her like this.
