Chapter 1

"Splash." A bottle of iced water sprinkled all over Andrew's body and a cold shiver went down his spine.

His glance shoved up towards his boss who had given him an impromptu call into the office, as confusion flooded his facial expression.

"You fool. What gave you the guts to steal a petty fund of 1000 dollars from this company." His stare was glazed with so much hate and fury.

"Steal?

"I have never stolen anything from anyone in this company," Andrew replied with a puzzled look on his face.

"Such a fool. Are you thinking that I am going to fall for that?" Mr. Mark growled.

"You were the one that was scheduled to clean the company this money and it was exactly here that I had left it so who else could have taken it away from here?" He fired at him.

"I didn't take any money, sir. I can swear on my life."

"Then who would have taken it? Everyone knows that you, a poor wretched bitch in dying , need to survive...

You need the money more than anyone else in this company.

But to think that you are going to stoop so low to steal from the company. How pathetic." He responded with a frown hanging on his face.

"I swear with my life Mr. Mark, I didn't steal it." His eyes crawled with so much innocence and pleas but that only hardened the heart of the manager.

"Why don't you just tell the truth, fool? Why are you such a hardened criminal?" He thundered angrily at him

"Sir. I did." He was about to say something but his manager yelled at him.

"That would be enough already, fool. Now, I am giving you just forty-eight hours to refund that money or you are not going to live to tell the story.

I will sue you for theft but right now, gather all the trash that passes as property for you and get off from my company right away." He yelled angrily at him.

"And don't make me repeat those words." He sneered.

The words stormed into his hearings and he shivered. Even with his job, it was already difficult for him to survive.. losing this job.

"Please, sir... I  didn't steal from the company. I can never..." He tried to explain but he would not be given even a single breathing space.

"Are you still standing there... Do you want me to call the security on you?" He fired at him but it didn't seem like Andrew was ready to pull away from the point that he was standing.

Getting his phone from his pocket, he placed a call to the security officers to thrash him away from the hall.

Soon, a cracking sound came from the door and three security agents stormed towards him.

"Take this thrash out of my company." He half yelled with a squeezed face.

While he continued to plead, the force of the three men came over to him, pulling him up from the floor and taking him out.

Meanwhile, the workers outside continued to stare at him with so much scorn and hatred, yelling out his name at multiple intervals

His heart was heavy as random thoughts ran through his mind. The thoughts of survival and. The most important thing to him is the thoughts of his beloved wife Lena.

She has been the most supportive person that had stood by him when and cherished him so much.

The images of her flickered in his eye. It was their wedding anniversary today and the thought that he would not be able to get her a gift broke him even more.

He was supposed to be paid that morning and get her the gift that she had always craved for only to be framed for something that he knew absolutely nothing about.

The previous year, she had not taken it seriously but he could read the disappointment in her eyes.

"What do I do now!" He thought in his head while he continued to roam  in the city was like a man who had been stripped of his life.

His heartbeat raced faster but somewhere at the end of the city, he found something really strange.

It was a sign, stalking in the road.

"Workers needed urgently." It read.

His eyes brightened with so much excitement as he skimmed through the venue of the place, his heart racing fast.

Getting a glimpse of it, he raced to the hotel as soon as he could, thinking that some other people might get the job before he did.

A lot of activities were already going on in the place as his eyes paired all around.

"Where do I go now?" He thought again.

"Hey stinker, are you here for the job as an attendant?" A voice came from within as he turned around slowly towards the voice.

A nod came afterwards. It turned out that the company was in dying need of workers and he had to start work right away.

He was given an apron and a tray was shoved into his hands. A tray of glass cups and an expensive wine. Something that he was sure was worth over a hundred thousand dollars.

His hands shivered as he had never held anything that expensive all his life and his boss could already see it in his gesture.

"It's such a pity that we have to employ you already but if you dare to break anything, you are going to pay." His superior shot a deadly glare at him.

"At least this is the last set that I am going to be attending today." He thought about his head but did not dare to voice it out.

"Okie sir." He replied.

Andrew's hands were balanced on the tray making sure that it was balanced in his hands as much as possible so that it was not going to slip out from his hands.

His head streamed through the room number and he finally found the one that he was looking for.

A slight tap he laid on the door as he walked into after a confirmation and he placed the wine on the table without even looking at the person in the room.

"Here is your order." He noted once again.

"Hey Clarke, you should give the attendant some tips and I am sure that he would be running to get us more condoms. I'm not tired of your dick already." A despairing cry came from the lady on the bed.

Random thoughts rose into his head as the voice that he just heard sounded way too familiar.

He could already feel his heart racing fast.

"Lena?" He thought but he found it difficult to believe it.

"How can you even think that the wife that loved you so much when others despise you like some piece of garbage would be cheating on you?" His subconsciousness flowed through.

"No. It can't be. I am just thinking about things because of what happened."

But even with the thoughts. He was still way too afraid to turn around towards the bed I saw who it was.

"Glad you want more." More voices came into his head again but this time, it was a little more masculine.

"Hey, stinker. Take this money and get us more condoms." He finally turned around towards the man on the bed.

His eyes grew wide open with so much shock. His heart was racing fast, staring at her.

"Lena?" His eyes brightened with so much shock.
