"You heard what I said." Mason looked at him so confidently. "I'll have a drink for insomnia."
The cashier was silent as Mason said it again. He felt confident that what he said was true.
"Then ...." Instantly, his eyes widened as he realised something.
There was a secret in this cafe. Not everyone knew the menu Mason had just said. "Sir, sir, please forgive me." The cashier immediately lowered his head, raising his hands before his chest. "I apologise for my rude words earlier. I really didn't realise it."The man panicked. His hands were shaking and cold as icicles. He was afraid he would get into big trouble.
"Come, let me show you." The cashier stepped out from the counter with a nervous and trembling voice."This way, sir." The cashier raised his hand, pointing Mason towards the right side. "You just go straight to the red door at the end of the hall."
A drink for insomnia. It was a code that no one knew. Only the master and important guests knew the code.
He had been warned before to treat important guests well, but instead, he almost drowned himself in the ocean.
"Sir, I truly apologise." The cashier looked down regretfully again. "I really didn't know."
"You must do your job well," Mason emphasised his words.
"Well, sir, I'm really sorry." The man's voice trembled. "I'll improve my attitude to be even better to the customers."
Mason did not respond and turned around, immediately stepping off his feet after hearing the cashier's ramblings. He followed the directions, walking down the darkened hallway with no lighting.
The hallway had several abstract paintings in dark colours on the walls. The atmosphere felt cold and empty until he finally came to a red door with a classic carving in the middle.
Mason opened the red door, instantly brightened by the lighting from inside the room. Mason entered the room, and the atmosphere was warmer than outside.
A man was sitting, staring at the wall. "Why did you come in? Do you have something to say?"
The man still had his back to her, fiddling with the pen. He wasn't in the mood to be disturbed, but if a servant came in, he had something to tell him.
"Is there a problem?" The man tapped his finger on the table. "I told you to work well, didn't I?"
The man placed his pen on the desk and turned the chair around to face the door, but just as he turned around, he was surprised to see Mason in front of him.
"River."
Suddenly, the man immediately got up from his chair. "Mr. Mason."
He hurriedly tidied up his slightly messy clothes, then stood up straight, full of respect.
"Master, why didn't you tell me first?" River looked stunned at not having noticed Mason's arrival.
Mason raised one eyebrow. "Why can't I come here?
" "Ah, that's not it." River waved his hand in the air. "If I knew you were coming here, I would have prepared something to welcome you."
"No need." Mason smiled slightly.
"Have a seat, Master." River raised her hand, inviting Mason to sit on the couch in his office.
"I'm so glad you finally came here." He immediately bowed his head. "I'm sorry about what I said earlier because I thought it was my people who couldn't work well here."
River couldn't believe that the man in front of him was Mason Gilbert, a very important person to him.
"Yeah, no problem." Mason smiled slightly. "You should get some more training."
River immediately nodded while scratching the back of his head, which didn't feel itchy. "Ah, yes, it really sucks."
"You've done a good job." Mason gave a little compliment to the man in front of him. "What about the black data I asked for?
"I have collected it, sir." River returned to his desk and showed Mason the tablet in his hand. "Some big companies will cause chaos by spreading the disease."
Secretly, he had sent his servants to investigate some of those blacklisted companies, and he had gotten a lot of information there.
"But we've already managed to thwart it." River smiled, showing some more evidence of the work done.
Mason nodded slowly. "Indeed, they did it for profit, although it was sneaky, but we didn't start it first."
They were just going with the flow of the game, like any other company. To continue growing the business, everything must require struggle and sacrifice.
"Ah, Master. I got another very important piece of information." He put his tablet on the table and put on a serious face. "The information regarding the one company that made the mess will appear at the party that will be held tonight."
The party was called Luxury Class, where only big companies from famous families could attend. He was one of the guests there as well.
"Here's your invitation." River handed over a hard-cover invitation that looked very thick and luxuriously designed.
"Oh." Mason took the invitation and opened it.
"Actually, I wanted to give you that invitation yesterday." River smiled a little. "But I thought you might not want to come."
Mason never attended parties like this, especially since he lived in the Wilmer household. Being busy made him not interested in attending big parties that required him to meet many people.
"But this time, I will come." Of course, Mason's words came as a shock to River. "I'll come as the owner of a small company."
River smiled happily because Mason was finally willing to show up at a party like this.
"You'll definitely find someone of value there." River smiled confidently. "I'm sure you'll find what I mean." He looked at Mason as if giving a code. "But I also hope you'll be vigilant."

Chapter 224
A man was seen walking into the library. His steps seemed hurried, until he stopped in his steps in a group of his friends who were busy reading. "Have you heard the news about Stella?" The man in red spoke in a whisper. "Stella?" A woman lowered her book, her gaze fixed on the man in front of her. Stella was a woman who was quite popular on their campus, so when they heard Stella's name mentioned, everyone immediately looked focused on the man. "What news is there about Stella? Whatever news about Stella, I'm sure it will be a big topic of conversation." The woman frowned. She couldn't wait to get an answer. "Gosh, everyone has heard about it and how come you don't know anything yet. Stella has just been proposed to by Anthonio." The man in red gave the news again. Everyone was immediately shocked. They knew that Anthonio was one of the richest people on their campus. "Is that true? If that's true, of course this is fantastic news. They will certainly be a perfect cou

Two people were sitting facing each other. They had just ordered food at a restaurant after walking around the city. Suddenly, a cell phone rang. The round eyes looked at Mason. "Excuse me, I have to answer a call. This is an important call." Millie spoke in a soft voice. "Yes, no problem." Mason answered casually. After that, Millie gave a smile before she finally left Mason to answer a call. A waiter came, giving the dishes that had been ordered earlier. "Sir, please enjoy it. I'll excuse myself and call me if you need anything." Mason just nodded his head. He also seemed to let the waiter leave him. He chose to enjoy his food leisurely. But suddenly his cell phone rang. It was a call from Henry. "Good morning, master. I want to inform you that Bella and that man are currently in a boutique. They intend to make a dress that looks amazing." Henry gave a report to his master. Mason's gaze was a little sharp after hearing Henry's explanation. His face also seemed to change to be
Chapter 222
Julia had just arrived in front of her house. She immediately got out of her car and slammed the car door very hard. The incident at the clothes store made her head want to explode. "What exactly happened to that damn man? How could he buy all the clothes in that store? Shouldn't he not be able to buy even one piece of clothing there?" The incident also almost made Julia lose focus when driving on the road on the way home. Her head throbbed even more when she remembered everyone giving Mason a lot of praise. Even the store manager also gave Mason respect and treated him like a king. "This is so strange." Julia muttered in annoyance. She immediately went into her house. But her heart and head still felt hot. She was certainly still curious about Mason's changes. She knew very well that Mason had no money. He also lived very poorly. She didn't even know where Mason lived at the moment. Before this, Julia was very sure that after throwing her out of the house, Mason would become a b
Chapter 221
Julia who spoke with a loud intonation made several people who were choosing clothes, stop their activities for a moment. Their gazes all seemed to be directed at Mason who had just arrived. Even some people immediately examined Mason's appearance which indeed looked very ordinary. If observed closely, Mason was only wearing a shabby shirt. They were very sure that the shirt was years ago, which made everyone look doubtfully at Mason. Indeed, a poor man like Mason should not enter a store that only provides famous branded clothing which of course has a very expensive price. Mason realized that several people were looking at him with strange looks and more precisely, they were looking at Mason with low gazes. But there, Mason was still calm, looking at his ex-mother-in-law who was currently giving him a disgusted look. "Why?" Mason asked in a flat voice. "I'm free to go anywhere." Mason emphasized the word to remind Julia not to interfere in his problems again. After all, they had

She looked around, staring at everyone with sad eyes. “Please, anyone quickly call for help.” The woman named Millie Young was so panicked. She held her grandfather in her arms with trembling hands. Millie was very afraid that something worse would happen to her grandfather – Mr. Young. A few minutes, Mr. Young still did not regain consciousness. And this made Millie feel even more afraid. Tears did not stop from her eyes. “Why isn’t help coming soon?” Millie shouted loudly, looking at each person who was watching them. Not even one of them came and gave help. “Miss, help will come in five or seven minutes.” One of the men standing there answered. Before this, they had called the hospital and help would arrive soon.
