“Who are you?” The leader of the gang asked with a shivering voice, but Quin had more important things to attend to. He knocked him out as well and grabbed one of the car keys from him.

He hurried out of the building at once, and like he expected Angus had already driven out of the vicinity. But he could see the mark made by his tires, and he could hear the sound of his vehicle speeding away at a distance.

“I can’t let him escape.” Quin quickly got into one of the cars as soon as he was able to locate which one had blared when he pressed on the control.

He sped through the rough road, but he managed to maneuver his way and eventually found his way through a lonely road that wasn’t as bad as the previous one.

He could see Angus’ car up ahead, and he had to make sure that he kept a little distance in order not to scare him away.

The road was quite lonely, and it was obvious that Angus was headed somewhere he wanted no one to know about.

He maintained a slow and steady pace, and so did

The guards turned to look at each other, and because Quinn was right, none of them could make any move. Rollick was still on the ground grunting in pain and trying to crawl to his sword. But it was too far away, and his strength seemed to have failed him at that moment. Quin walked up to him after he had grabbed his sword, and then he pointed it at his face. Rollick gasped as he stared death right in the eyes.“Finish it.” He said, both his breath and his voice quivered.“Are you certain of this?” Quin asked, but he wasn’t sure of what to say. “I am going to spare you, Rollick. Let this be a gift to you, a gift which you don’t deserve.” Quin dropped the sword on the ground, and while it clanked, he walked up to the guard who was holding the seed and grabbed it from him.“You coward! Finish it! Don’t be afraid!” Rollick said loudly, but Quin didn’t bother to even turn to look at him.“Stay where you are and think about the gift I have given to you, Rollick.” Quin carried his uncle a

Quin could see that the tension in the room was gradually rising, but he was there to get his uncle, and there was no way he was leaving without getting what he had come for. “May I have the seed now, Lord Farrell?” He demanded calmly, but then the old man had been convinced by his son not to let him go.“You will go back to where you found this box, and you will get me what’s inside it. That’s the only way I am letting you take both your uncle and the seed.” Lord Farrell stood his ground at once, but Quin had gotten very upset.“That was never part of our agreement, Lord Farrell.”“Well, agreements change. Ours have just changed, and my decision is final.” Lord Farrell walked up to Quin and pushed the box into his hand.“Find me what’s inside the box, then you can come back for your uncle and the seed of fire. We will also talk about the secrets to eternal life.” The old Lord turned to Rollick who was full of smile.“Make sure you see our guest out safely. I hope he will be back on

Rollick slowly moved to Quin and unshackled him, but before he let him stand he leaned forward and whispered into his ear; “I will kill you myself if you try to play games with us.” He had a fierce look on his face, showing that he wasn’t joking when he said those words. “We will see about that, boy. I hope you are fast enough.” Quin smirked at him, causing him to grunt while he bit very hard on his teeth. For a moment, Quin thought that Rollick was going to throw a punch on his face as his fists were balled, but he let go and allowed him to stand. Slowly, Quin got up and while he was still staring at his uncle he adjusted his shirt, and the moment he made a move, he realized that he had been injured. The crash in his car caused him some injuries all over his body, and he almost didn’t feel the pain until he made a move.“Where is my car?” He asked Lord Farrell.“You have more things to be worried about than a piece of metal.” Lord Farrell retorted with an angry look, but his resp

While the old man stood in front of Quin, he had his eyes on his uncle who was still bleeding, and he was afraid that the bleeding could lead to his death. “I am sorry, Uncle Eddie.” He said with a whisper, but Lord Farrell was still persistent with getting what he wanted. “Did you open it? Did you find anything inside? Tell me how to open this. Tell me!” The old Lord was in a haste to know what was inside the box he was holding, and he almost lost his patience while he waited for Quin to tell him what he wanted to hear.“I don’t know, Lord Farrell.” Quin cleared his throat, and then he took in a deep breath which he let out slowly. “What don’t you know, Quin? Is it how to open the box or what’s inside the box?”“Both, Lord Farrell. I have never seen that box in my entire life.” Quin sighed heavily, and then he looked away the moment he realized that Lord Farrell was trying to figure out if he was lying or not. “Very well, at least I have the box. Now to the next things, Quin.” L

Quin groaned before he could open his eyes, and when he was done blinking, his vision became clearer, and the blurry figures in front of him were visible.“I thought you were not going to wake up, Quin the Doctor.” Lord Farrell said, his voice reeking of both arrogance and disregard. “I waned you, Quin. I told you that you had just two days to give me what I wanted, else I was going to come for you and your precious uncle. So sad that he appears to be no better than a dead man.”“Don’t touch him!” Quin tried to stand up from the seat, but then he realized that he had been fastened to it with chains, causing him to grunt in both pain and annoyance.“Let me go, Lord Farrell!” He said with annoyance, but all he got was a scoff, accompanied by a loud sinister laughter.“Even when you are chained up and surrounded by my men, Quin. You are still full of audacity. The almighty Doctor.” Lord Farrell said with sarcasm, and then he laughed at Quin again.“You should known that I am a very desp

Mr. Han wanted to keep his ego, but it appeared that he had no other choice but to yield at that moment after had seen that none of his men was coming to rescue him.“Think about what I said, Mr. Han. It’s only a matter of time before I continue to drag you along this hallway, and I won’t stop until your blood is drained, and it will take so many people to mop it off the floor.” Quin’s words sank very deep into his head, causing him to swallow hard. “You made them take my son!” He yelled, expressing both anger and pain. “I had to take your uncle, Quin! They wouldn’t let my son out! He is my heir, my only son!”“That’s too sad, Mr. Han. You could have come for me instead. My uncle had nothing to do with this.” Quin sighed, the smirk on his face intact while he stared down at the middle-aged man. “Where is my uncle, Han?” He asked with an angry tone, still holding onto his hands while he got ready to pull if he got the wrong answer.“There…” Mr. Han pointed at one of the doors across
