Hailey grabbed her gun again, but before she could fire at Quin, he grabbed it from her and tossed it away to the ground.

“That’s enough for today, miss.” Quin grabbed her and pulled her out of the ground. She fell to the ground and whimpered in pain.

“Stay out of this!” She yelled at Quin, but he didn’t pa attention to her.

He untied the piece of cloth used to prevent Xerxes from speaking and she gasped for air and sighed heavily.

“You came! You came, Quin!” She was excited to see the Doctor, but she was equally exhausted and her beautiful dress stained with dust and blood.

“Are you okay? Did they hurt you?” Quin asked, unstrapping her while he stared at the bloodstain on the top of her dress.

“I am fine, Quin. I am just that glad that you are here. I didn’t have anyone else to call.” Tears began to drop from Xerxes’ eyes. And she sniffled to stop them from flowing.

“I am getting you out of here, Lady Xerxes. Come on…” Quin helped the lady get down from the car, and then he heard

It had only been a week since Xerxes came to speak to Quin about her desperate demand, but since she had not yet gotten any response from him, she decided to speak with him in person. Knowing fully that Quin was not going to be easy to invite, she decided to see him under the guise of an emergency. That hot afternoon, Quin drove to the vicinity of the Lincoln company and walked into the tall building, clad in a nice blue suit and an expensive pair of brown shoes. It was one of the few times he had been to the company, and the workers were nervous from the moment they set their eyes on him. They knew that something serious must have brought Quin to the company that afternoon.Everyone got busy. Including the cleaner who had to clean the floor again just to make sure that the tiles were sparkling perfectly, and there was not even a dot of stain on the floor. Quin pretended like he didn’t know what was going on as he continued marching toward the elevator. He walked into Xerxes’ offic

The young man opened his eyes and groaned while his wife held onto him, seated on the bed with tears in her eyes. “Baby! I am here!” She said loudly, holding onto him tightly. Her husband blinked and was able to keep his eyes open. “Pamela? Is that you?” He wanted to be sure it was his wife he was staring at. He couldn’t remember the last time he set his eyes on her. “Can you see me?” His wife asked and he nodded. “Oh my goodness!” Pamela gasped and covered her mouth. Then she turned to Quin. “Thank you so much! Thank you!” She said and Quin nodded. He was already prepared to leave, and that was surprising to Pamela. “I think you should take something from us, Doctor Quin. It will be very unfair if we let you go without offering you something for what you have done.” Pamela insisted, but Quin shook his head. Her husband was eager to know what was going on. “Is this the Doctor you said you were going to call?” He asked and she nodded. Then he turned to Quin with a

Quin remained standing for a while, but it was obvious that he was checking something. He waited for a few more seconds, and then he bent toward the young man and tied the rope around his neck. At first, Pamela was worried that the rope could be too tight around his neck, but when she saw the little space between the rope and his neck, she sighed and stayed calm. When Quin was done adjusting the rope to his preferred position, he grabbed the four needles and returned to the man. Slowly, he started to push the needles into his neck one after the other, but there was no blood, not even a single drop.He had mastered the technique he used, meticulously making sure that he wasn’t going to cause any injury or damage to his body. Pamela whimpered like she was feeling pain while she watched as the needles plunged into her husband’s body.At some point, she had to cover her eyes and wait until she had speculated that Quin must have inserted all the needles into his body. Quin looked at

Quin moved closer to Pamela’s husband. “This is a very tough one.” He said, and then he turned to Pamela. She heard what he said even though he had spoken in a very low tone. Quin’s utterance made her a bit worried, and she inched closer to him. “Can you help us? Does my husband have any chance of ever getting better?” She wasn’t sure of the answer that she could get, but she was hoping that she was going to get a response from him as soon as possible. Quin looked at the man closely. He wanted to give his wife a response, but he wanted to be sure of the most suitable answer to give to her.He sighed and said, “Let’s be hopeful, Mrs. Olsen. I will have to find out the reason why he is this way.”Pamela was unsatisfied with the response she got from Quin, but it was better than hearing nothing at all.She nodded and turned to her husband. “My poor baby.” She whimpered and sniffled, trying so hard not to cry. Quin inched closer to Pamela’s husband and observed him for the umpteenth t

Pamela wiped the last drop of tears that fell from her eyes. “My husband has a very strange disease, Doctor Quin. We have taken him to different hospitals, but none of the Doctors who checked him were able to say what was wrong with him.”Quin sighed while he remained silent. Pamela had expected him to react to everything she had told him, but he seemed not to be in the mood to say even a word. “I am begging, Doctor Quin! We have spent all the money we have! I don’t want to lose my husband! I have children!” Pamela pleaded, struggling not to shed more tears. Quin was sympathetic even though he refused to show it. After the encounter he had with Nam and his wife and father-in-law, he didn’t think it was wise for him to have that kind of experience. “I know that I am asking for too much, Doctor Quin. But you are the last person that I haven’t gone to. I have heard about you, everyone says you can cure any type of illness.” Pamela was relentless, eager to convince the Doctor to go wi

Emily was very shocked when she heard what Quin said. “You can’t ask me to leave, Quin. I am your wife.” She said, causing Quin to scoff.“You never wanted to be my wife, Emily. Stop acting like you have ever wanted this marriage.” “Don’t say that, Quin! I was only scared that you were not going to be able to take care of me. After today, I think I know better.” Emily said in her defense, walking behind Quin as he got into the building. Quin ignored her. His only interest was to go to his room and get some sleep. “I am not going, Quin. This is my husband’s house and I am saying.” Emily said with a firm tone, climbing the stairs with Quin who turned to look at her with a smirk on his face. “I see you are quite stubborn amidst other things, Emily. But if you decide to stay here, then it means that you will be on your own. Don’t act like you see me whenever our paths cross, and I will act like you don’t exist.”“What?!” Emily was taken aback. She expected to hear some other thing fr
