The days passed quickly in the primal forest. Thanks to the hard work of his three Orc servants, the area around the cave had been transformed into a neat, secure little defensive camp, complete with a sturdy wooden fence. However, Ryker's focus wasn't on camp construction at all. His mind was entirely occupied by the upcoming full moon.
That afternoon, the clouds began to clear, revealing the faint silhouette of a nearly perfect full moon on the eastern horizon. Ryker stood in the middle of the camp, slinging a leather bag containing minimal provisions over his shoulder. In front of him, the three Orc servants stood lined up with their heads bowed submissively, waiting for their master's orders.
"I'm leaving tonight," Ryker said, breaking the afternoon silence. "You three, don't stir up trouble or slack off while I'm gone. Maintain the perimeter and keep this place secure."
The Orc leader, Gorg, scratched his bald head in confusion. "Where are you going, Master? Why leave at night? The forest is incredibly dangerous under a full moon."
Thrum nodded in agreement, while the third Orc, Brok, just listened intently without saying a word.
"I'm heading to the Silver Wolf tribe's territory tonight," Ryker replied casually. "I'm fighting Prince Kael of the Golden Wolf Kingdom in a life-or-death duel."
"What?!" Gorg yelled in shock, his yellow eyes widening. "Master, you're going to fight Prince Kael?!"
Ryker frowned at his green slave's overreaction. "What about it? Why are you guys so terrified?"
Thrum stepped forward, his massive frame trembling slightly at the mention of the name. "Master, you don't know Prince Kael! He's the most terrifying warrior in the Western region. He's famous for his lightning-fast attacks. No creature can even see him move before their head is severed from their body!"
"That's not all, Master," Brok added in a raspy voice, visibly shuddering. "Kael also has the blessing of the 'Steel-Crushing Claws.' He once ripped through the hide of a giant primal bear with his bare hands. Our thick Orc skin would feel like dry leaves against his claws. He's a cold-blooded monster who never leaves an enemy alive!"
Hearing the terrifying reputation, Ryker's expression remained completely flat. Instead, the corner of his mouth tugged up into a confident, faint smile.
"Don't worry, I can handle him," Ryker said calmly, patting Gorg's broad shoulder. "Monster or not, he'll only step over me if he can."
Gorg looked at Ryker with deep anxiety. "But Master... the journey to the Silver Wolf territory is a long way from here. It goes through thorn forests and steep rocky cliffs. You need a horse carriage or at least a primal mount if you want to make it before the full moon ritual starts."
"Drop it, you don't need to know how I'll get there," Ryker cut him off, waving his hand dismissively. "Just do your jobs here."
Without waiting for a reply, Ryker turned and walked out of the camp with long strides, disappearing into the thickening darkness of the forest. Behind him, Gorg, Thrum, and Brok could only stand there mouth agape, exchanging bewildered and anxious looks.
"Is our master going to die out there?" Thrum whispered hesitantly.
"Shut your mouth!" Gorg snapped, though his own heart was filled with massive doubt. How could a human without claws or fangs survive against an apex predator like Prince Kael?
After walking a good distance and ensuring he was completely out of the Orcs' line of sight, Ryker slowed his pace. The distance to the Silver Wolf camp was indeed massive on foot, and his time was limited.
'System, do you have a solution for this? I need to get there before the duel begins,' Ryker called out internally.

Instantly, Ryker felt a warm sensation rush through his legs. The fatigue from his previous walking vanished completely, replaced by a feeling of lightness, as if his body weight had dropped drastically.
With a single push off the ground, Ryker bolted forward. His body moved like a blur, leaping over massive tree roots and tearing through thorny brush with an agility that easily surpassed a leopard. The night wind whipped loudly past his ears as he split the darkness of the forest at incredible speed.
It took less than two hours for Ryker to reach his destination. Ahead, past a steep rocky valley, the bright glow of torches illuminated a massive settlement. This was Silver Valley, the main stronghold of the Silver Wolf Tribe.
The area was surrounded by giant wooden barricades made from whole tree trunks. In the center of the camp lay a vast, circular arena, ringed by hundreds of torches and ancient totem stones. The roaring din of hundreds of gathered wolves echoed through the air, signaling that the full moon ritual had already begun.
Ryker stepped out of the dark forest, casually walking toward the main gate of Silver Valley. His lack of fur and distinct lack of animal features immediately drew attention.
Three wolf guards wielding long bone spears instantly leaped down from their watchtower, blocking Ryker's path. They sized him up with searching, hostile glares.
"Halt!" barked the largest guard. "Who are you?! Why do you look so weird? What kind of creature are you?!"
Ryker remained calm, letting the system run its analysis first.

[Identification:] 3 Silver Wolf Gate Guards. Status: Low-Tier Warriors.
[Hierarchy Analysis:] In Silver Valley, status is currently determined by combat strength. An outsider without a clan or reputation is considered lower than wild game unless they can legally prove their strength in the arena.
Ryker straightened his posture, staring directly into the guards' eyes with a bold, sharp look. "My name is Ryker Vance. I've come to honor Chief Garn's invitation."
In a loud, booming voice that echoed right through the entrance gates, Ryker added, "I am here for a life-or-death duel with Prince Kael of the Golden Wolf Tribe, to take back my female, Cora!"
Ryker's confident words hung in the air for a few seconds. The three gate guards glanced at each other, processing what they had just heard, before completely bursting into loud, raucous laughter.
"Hahaha! Did I hear that right?!" The first guard clutched his stomach, laughing so hard his silver tail slapped the dirt. "A furless little weakling like this mud rabbit... came to challenge Prince Kael?!"
"Hey, human boy! You got a death wish?!" the second guard chimed in, jabbing the butt of his spear toward Ryker's chest mockingly. "Prince Kael could shred your thin skin before you can even blink! Go back to whatever hole you crawled out of before the warriors inside turn you into tonight's appetizer!"
Their mocking laughter echoed back and forth, drawing the attention of a few other tribe members near the gate. But Ryker didn't move an inch. His face remained ice-cold, and his smile only widened. This dismissive laughter would turn to screams of terror the moment he stepped into the arena.

"Sorry, but I'm not interested in ruling anything right now. I just want a quiet life with my wife," Ryker said flatly.Kael froze. As a prince of an apex predator clan, raised from birth to conquer, he couldn't grasp how someone as powerful as Ryker could choose such a simple path. Still, his respect for the man didn't waver."Can I at least be part of your alliance?" Kael asked."That depends," Ryker replied. "If you can cooperate and know your boundaries, I'm willing to have you."Hearing that opening, Kael's golden eyes lit up again. "I'll prove I can be a good partner. The Golden Wolf Tribe never breaks a promise to those they respect.""Alright then. Move aside for now. I want to get moving with Cora," Ryker said, cutting the conversation short. As they walked through the gates, Cora looked anxious. "It's going to take us days if we just walk. I'll ask my father to get the best wolf carriage ready right now."Ryker stopped in his tracks, glancing back at her with a faint, myster
Dominance of the Apex Male
"Just kill me! Why aren't you killing me?!" Kael roared from the stone floor of the arena. His breath came in ragged, uneven gasps, heavy with shock. His fierce face was drenched in cold sweat as he stared up at Ryker's two fingertips, still hovering a single millimeter above his left ribs. For a royal apex predator, being left helpless like this was far more humiliating than death.Ryker calmly drew his hand back and stood up straight, looking down at Kael with a flat, unbothered expression. "I only came here to take my female back. I have no interest in taking your life unless I have to."Up in the stone stands, the atmosphere froze. A massive, middle-aged male with thick golden fur—Goran, King of the Golden Wolf Tribe and Kael's father—stood up from his seat of honor, his eyes wide with disbelief. Beside him, Chief Garn was completely paralyzed, the stone cup in his hand nearly slipping from his grip. His son, the pureblood prodigy presumed to be invincible, had just been brought d
Duel Under the Full Moon
"What about it if I want to challenge him?" Ryker took a step forward, cutting off the gate guards' laughter. His cold gaze locked onto them without a shred of doubt. "Is your prince going to be scared?""You've got a lot of nerve saying that!" the largest guard barked, his face tightening in offense. "Prince Kael scared of a mud rabbit like you? More like you'll be chopped into herder food before you even get a chance to beg for mercy!""Alright then, just let me in to prove it," Ryker replied casually, his tone so relaxed it sounded like he was just asking to visit a neighbor. "We'll see who gets chopped up tonight."The second guard snorted roughly, lowering his spear point from Ryker's chest. "Huh, you're going to regret this, human. Don't come crying tears of blood when his claws tear your chest open."With a dismissive wave of their hands, they finally let Ryker pass through the giant wooden gates. The moment his feet stepped onto the inner grounds of Silver Valley, a long, pier

A Forced Separation
Cora couldn't contain the anxiety building in her chest. The moment that familiar howl echoed through the air a second time, she ran out of the cave, completely ignoring the stiffness and pain in her ankle. Ryker followed closely behind, keeping a calm, steady pace, letting Cora lead the way out to an open clearing just beyond the perimeter fence his Orc servants were building.A dozen male warriors from the Silver Wolf tribe had already gathered in the clearing, surrounded by towering, ancient trees. They were all heavily built, sporting silver-gray wolf ears and tails, and were armed with heavy bone axes and fangs tipped spears.Standing at the front of the pack was a middle-aged male with the most imposing build. His silver hair was starting to gray at the temples. He was clearly the chief."Cora!" the chief called out. The moment he saw his daughter emerge from the brush, the tension melted from his stern face, replaced by a deep sense of relief."Father!" Cora ran forward and thr

Before accepting the system's offer, Ryker let a heavy, tense silence hang in the air. He lowered his hand slowly, keeping his cold gaze locked onto the Orc leader's face. The physical boost from the system hadn't just altered his muscles; it emanated an oppressive pressure that made the primitive creatures in front of him feel suffocated. The three Orcs trembled in fear. The leader didn't even dare wipe away the blood streaming from his broken nose. They knew this strange male standing before them could crush their heads in an instant if he wanted to."Alright, I'll spare you this time," Ryker finally said, breaking the tension. "But in exchange, I have a task for you.""W-What is it, Master?" the Orc leader asked, his voice shaking, a small glimmer of hope in his yellow eyes. "We'll do anything, just let us live!"Ryker smiled faintly. Mentally, he commanded the system to deduct 100 points and purchase three 'Primal Soul Control Marks.'
