Chapter 20: interesting revelation
Chapter 20“The meeting with Mr Eden will be beneficial to his empire and mine,” Denzel tried again, attempting to change his mind. Jackson shook his head, feeling a sort of satisfaction from denying Denzel of what he truly wanted. It gave him joy, because of Denzel’s past actions. “All I am doing is in a bid to create more opportunities for the Magnus empire and my company. It is the right platform for growth,” Denzel said. If Jackson did not have any history with him in his past life, he would have had pity on him and considered his request. But he had already decided to not be moved. Chapter 19“The event is scheduled to begin by 10am and your outfit is ready sir,” Kian said, then proceeded to bow before leaving the room. Eden had already informed Jackson the previous day about the high profile business gathering and how he needed Jackson to represent him and the Magnus empire at the meeting. Chapter 17Kian walked over to him and showed him the pictures on the phone. Jackson took the phone and went through the pictures, but one particular picture piqued his interest. It was a screenshot and in the screenshot was a picture of him and the ring on his finger was highlighted and the message that followed the picture read ‘confirm if he still has it’ Jackson needed nobody to tell him that the person was referring to the ring. “Let’s go,” Jackson said, rising to his feet. “We would be back tomorrow morning, ensuring that he wouldn’t be able to escape in our absence” Jackson instructed Kian, passing him a ball gag to use on the man so he wouldn’t be able to shout.
