Rose to Fame: CEO Of A Multibillionaire Company Overnight

Chapter One: I caught her cheating.

“Mr. Williams, can I see you in my office?” The loudspeaker echoed in his ears and instantly his eyes darted towards the door with CEO boldly written on it. Julian’s heart skipped a beat as he stared at the door for some seconds. He knew something was wrong, something was always wrong when it came to his life. His legs trembled in great distress as he pushed open the glass door through the doorknob while he assembled all the courage he had gathered within the span of half a second, and went inside to see him.

Julian’s heart continuously throbbed nonstop knowing his call was not for a good thing but rather a bad one- His name was never associated with a good thing. The next minute, he received a heavy blow. Right in front of him, he was handed a dismissal letter with his name written on it, and a blank space for his signature.

This letter was given to him by the man whom he normally addressed as his boss. He read thoroughly the content of the letter. His bright face had soured and His skin had grown paler.

And officially Julian was ‘FIRED’ from a job that earned him little. He was ashamed of losing the only job that gave him and his fiancée a comfortable living. The expression his boss had on his face proved that he enjoyed seeing the shock on Julian’s face.

Who else would purposely want him to be kicked out when he had done nothing wrong?

There was only one person that hated him with passion; his mother in law, Elise Norman. In her eyes, he was a mere pauper leeching off on her daughter.

Julian had a scheming, wicked mother-in-law who had deemed him useless from the onset and he had done so much to prove to her daughter, Kyra, that Julian was not worthy of her.

Of course, she was right! What was he thinking in the first place, a poor person like him proposing to a wealthy man’s daughter? It was a big ridicule and a slap to his dignity as it stayed as hot gossip on the entire social media for a month and half. He had nothing to say, so he picked up the letter and strode out of the company.

The day had turned into night in a few minutes as he looked up in the sky. Julian recalled that today was the day when Kyra, his fiancée was to return from her annual business trip. The previous incident of his dismissal lowered his ego. He was thinking of ways to break the news to her as he ordered a taxi.

He sat uncomfortably in the car and looked outside the window. Months had passed and he was unable to change his miserable fate. He was a poor loner who lost his parents while young. He grew up in the countryside living off on an old woman who adopted him later on. Unfortunately, she fell ill and Julian had to sell off his things to pay her medical bills.

He moved to the city and that was where he met the love of his life, a rich, arrogant heiress of the Norman Corps, Kyra Norman. Julian reminisced on the past for a while. The car came to a stop and its honk brought him back to reality.

“That would be a hundred dollars for the taxi fare.” The taxi man said as he pulled over at the fancy apartment. His eyes screamed greed as he deliberately increased the by a large extent. This was his chance to make money out of the rich, he thought.

“That is too much for a fare! It did not take more than an hour and you charge me for staying in a car with horrible conditions. You are very greedy!” Julian erupted in anger, stepped down from the car and slammed the door. He was about to move inside the apartment when the driver screamed at him.

“What is a hundred dollar to the rich? You earn more, just take a look at your house and the car parked next to it. You should pay up rather than fuming on such trivial matter…”

“I only have thirty dollar on me and it was enough to get me here. You should manage it!” He flung it at the infuriated driver and didn’t bother looking back. He knew how much he was supposed to pay, so it was easy for him to know the driver was cheating him.

His long legs climbed onto the first stairs and the next remark stopped him from climbing the next step.

“I should have guessed you are a pauper. Your clothes and shabby appearance says it all. It is a big misfortune to have picked such a low rat. I don’t want your money, use it to get something good for yourself. Your condition is worse than mine!” He mocked, chuckling like a maniac before driving off.

Even the poor belittled and tagged him poorer than themselves. What an irony of life!

Meanwhile, Julian stood there frozen, his fingers bawling into a tight nut fist. He gritted his teeth in rage, his nails digging deep into his flesh. Julian exhaled loudly and calmed himself. Ignoring the driver’s remarks, Julian lifted his brows as he spotted a brand new car parked distances away from the doorstep.

It was the latest Lamborghini G-wagon A4355, a car worth millions of dollars. Julian grew worried while walking past the new car parked in the garage. He knew that Kyra had no car of such brand neither did the neighbors, so whose own was it?

… Could it be another man's car? Julian questioned himself internally, his heart gripping with fear.

His feet became cold and weak and hurriedly he rushed into the apartment. The first thing his eyes met with after he had entered the apartment was an extra pair of slippers, to be exact a male own, a little larger than what he normally wore.

"Give me more, I want you......."

“Ah….Yes, that is the part. Gosh, I am about to…”
